Using Detergent in Your FlexWash™ Washer (WV60M9900)

FlexWash™ washers provide maximum flexibility for washing options. The Upper and Lower washers have separate compartments. Both liquid and powdered detergent can be used.

Only use liquid or powdered detergent or bleach.

Upper Washer Compartments

The Upper washer only has Bleach and Softener compartments. You can add detergent using the AquaPebble™ (see below for further instructions on using the AquaPebble).

  • A: Bleach Compartment

Add the manufacturer's recommended amount of non-chlorine bleach to the Bleach Compartment. Be careful not to overfill.

Do not use chlorine bleach. It may cause damage to the laundry.

  • B: Softener Compartment

Add fabric softener in the Softener Compartment. Do not exceed the max line.

The recommended storage location for the AquaPebble is in the Fabric Softener compartment. It must be removed before fabric softener can be added.

  • AquaPebble

This is a small rubber component used for Main wash detergent. See below for further instructions on using the AquaPebble.

Using the AquaPebble in the Upper Washer

  1. Open the top door and the protective cover.

  2. Remove the AquaPebble from the fabric softener compartment.

  3. Put the manufacturer's recommended small-load amount of liquid or powdered detergent into the provided AquaPebble.

The AquaPebble has a max line (marked as 20 ml) near its top. Do not exceed the max line.

  4. Carefully place the AquaPebble in the Upper Washer tub. Make sure the detergent does not spill before the wash cycle begins.

  5. Add the recommended amount of non-chlorine bleach to the bleach compartment and softener to the fabric softener compartment. Then, close the protective cover and top door.

  6. After the cycle is complete, clean the AquaPebble and store it in the Fabric Softener compartment.

Lower Washer Compartments

To prevent the compartment from clogging, concentrated or highly enriched agents (fabric softener or detergent) must be diluted with water before being added.

  • A: Main Wash Compartment

Add the manufacturer's recommended amount of liquid or powdered detergent without exceeding the Max Line.

When using powdered detergent, remove the liquid detergent tray. Use the liquid detergent tray when using liquid detergent.

  • B: Bleach Compartment

Add the manufacturer's recommended amount of liquid non-chlorine bleach. Do not exceed the max line.

  • C: Softener Compartment

Add the manufacturer's recommended amount of fabric softener. Do not exceed the max line.
