Use Smart Hub on The Frame TV

Smart Hub is your one stop feature for apps, games, movies, and much more. You can also enjoy photos, videos, and music files stored on external storage devices. 

To use Smart Hub, The Frame must be connected to the Internet.

Using Smart Hub

  • After pressing the Home button on your remote control, you can surf the web and download apps with Smart Hub.

  • Some of the Smart Hub services are paid services. To use a paid service, you must have an account with the service provider or a Samsung account.

  • To use Smart Hub, The Frame must be connected to the Internet.

  • Some Smart Hub features may not be available depending on the service provider, language, or region.

  • Smart Hub service outages can be caused by disruptions in your Internet service.

  • You can view the entire Terms & Policy document by navigating to Settings > Support > Terms & Policy. If you want to stop using Smart Hub, you can cancel the agreement.

Connecting to the Internet

The following steps will guide you through connecting to a wireless network. You can also connect to a wired network.

  1. Press the Home button on your OneRemote.

  2. Navigate to Settings > General > Network > Open Network Settings.

  3. Select your type of connection. For this example, select Wireless.

  4. Select your network.

  5. If prompted, enter the network password and select Done.

  6. Your Frame TV is now connected to the Internet. Select OK to finish.

Launching Smart Hub Automatically

To set Smart Hub to launch automatically when you turn on The Frame, follow the steps below.

  1. Press the Home butto on your OneRemote.

  2. Navigate to Settings > General > Smart Features.

  3. Select Autorun Smart Hub and then set it to On.

Testing Smart Hub Connections

If you encounter any connection issues with Smart Hub, try testing Smart Hub's connection to the Internet.

  1. Press the Home button on your OneRemote.

  2. Navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis.

  3. Select Start Smart Hub Connection Test.

  4. After your Smart Hub connection has been verified, select Close to go back to the main menu.

Smart Hub Reset

To reset Smart Hub and your Samsung account settings, follow the steps below.

  1. Press the Home button on your OneRemote.

  2. Navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis.

  3. Select Reset Smart Hub.

  4. Enter your PIN.

    The default PIN is 0000.

  5. After the reset is complete, select OK.

Remove an App from the Home Screen

  1. Press the Home button on your OneRemote.

  2. Navigate to the app you want to remove.

  3. Press Down on the remote control, and then select Remove.
