Connect Wireless Rear Speakers to Your Soundbar
Want to hear every tire screech and squeal of the high-speed car chase in that new action movie? Connect wireless rear speakers to your soundbar and place yourself in the center of the action. Keep reading to learn how to pair your speakers and get a theater-quality sound system right at home.
Only the Wireless Receiver Module is wireless. The two rear speakers are connected to the Wireless Receiver Module by wires.
Rear speaker volume is controlled with the soundbar.
Connect the Speakers
If you're ready to treat your ears to the ultimate sound experience, follow the steps below to connect the speakers.
Press the wire tabs and then insert the speaker wires matching the color of the wire to each wire tab. Also make sure the wires make contact with the metal component under each tab.
Connect the other end into the Wireless Receiver Module.
Connect the power cord into the Wireless Receiver Module and then plug the other end into a wall outlet.
Note: Plug the Soundbar in if it is not already.
Press and hold the ID SET button on the back of the wireless receiver until the STANDBY indicator turns off and the LINK indicator blinks quickly.
While the Soundbar is powered off (in STANDBY mode), press and hold Vol on the Soundbar remote until ID SET appears on the Soundbar's display.
When the LINK indicator (Blue LED) on the SWA-8500S blinks, power on the soundbar.
When the LINK indicator (Blue LED) on the SWA-8500S glows continuously, it is connected successfully. This process may take a few minutes. If the surround speaker's volume is low, try pairing again.
Note: The optimal placement for the speakers are on the left and right of where you will be sitting. Try to position the speakers about 1 to 2 feet above your ear.
