Samsung Connect Replacing Quick Connect

Samsung Connect lets you easily control, monitor, and automate your home from anywhere in the world. You can connect your Samsung home appliances, TVs, and speakers to the app. With a SmartThings Hub, or compatible device with SmartThings Hub functionality like the Samsung Connect Home, you can connect with a wide range of connected devices, including lights, cameras, locks, thermostats, sensors, and more.

What's New?

When you Update to Samsung Connect on devices that have Quick Connect preinstalled it will replace Quick Connect. You will have access to all of the features that were available and more! See below for all additional features that come with the update to Samsung Connect.

New Features Available with Samsung Connect

  1. Monitor and control devices and appliances even if you are not at home.
  2. Discover and install new devices in your home with the touch of a button.
  3. Create custom modes so you can easily control multiple devices with a single command and create rules that make your connected devices smarter and more efficient.

If Samsung Connect isn't what you want, you can still go back to Quick Connect by following the steps below. 

  1. Open the Play store then search for and select Samsung Connect.

  2. Touch MORE and unselect Auto-update, then uninstall the Samsung Connect app. Quick Connect will now be available.
