Use Multi Window on Your Galaxy Tab A (New)
Whoa, you’ve got a lot of apps open! Multi Window lets you multitask by displaying two apps at once. You can switch between apps, adjust the size of the display on the screen, and copy information from one app to the other. It’s a real timesaver.
Open Apps in Multi Window
You want to keep reading that article in Samsung Internet while you keep an eye on the progress of those video files you're transferring to your boss for that big presentation. That's no trouble at all. Follow along with these steps:
From any screen, touch Recent to select apps to view in Multi Window.
Touch Multi Window next to the apps you want to open. Not all apps support Multi Window.
Touch the second app you want to open.
The window with the blue outline is the active window.
See Multi Window Control below for information on managing your screen space.
