Customize Galaxy S9 and S9+'s Lock Screen
All the constant messages from your mom are beyond annoying, but you want to know when your lives will be refilled in your favorite game. Thankfully, you can customize the notifications that appear on your Lock screen.
Available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider and software version.
Turn notifications on or off whenever you want. You can also hide the content of notifications on your Lock screen - like a personal text from your sweetie.
Navigate to Settings, and then swipe to and touch Lock screen and security. Touch Notifications, and then touch Show notifications from. To disable notifications from a specific app, touch the slider next to that app. Touch the slider next to Hide content to conceal details from a specific app. Or, touch the slider next to Notification icons only to hide the details from all your notifications.
Want immediate access to that addicting game? You can customize the app shortcuts that are displayed on the Lock screen.
Navigate to Settings, and then swipe to and select Lock screen and security. Swipe to and touch App shortcuts, and then touch Left shortcut or Right shortcut. Select your desired app, and it will be displayed on the Lock screen.
