Battery Life on Gear Fit2
You need your Gear Fit2 to last through all your adventures, and luckily there are easy ways to save battery power so it keeps going and going! Read on to learn how to view the battery life and use power saving tricks, so your Gear can keep up with your active lifestyle.
View Battery Life
From any screen on the Gear Fit2, swipe down from the top of the screen. The battery level will be displayed at the top right.
Power Saving Mode
Save battery life by turning on Power saving mode. On the Apps screen, touch Settings. Swipe to and touch Power saving. Touch the Check. The Gear will now enter Power saving mode, and the screen color will switch to gray tones. If you want to deactivate power saving mode, touch Power Saving OFF at the bottom of the screen.
Note: Certain features will be unavailable during Power saving mode.
In Power saving mode, the Gear enables the following power saving actions:
Displays color on the screen as gray tones.
Deactivates the Wi-Fi feature.
Deactivates additional features.
Limits the performance of the Gear’s CPU.
Watch Always On
Deactivate the Watch always on feature to help save the battery. This feature prevents the Gear from displaying a clock when the screen is turned off.
On the Apps screen, touch Settings, and then touch Display. Disable the feature by touching Watch always on.
Note: Off is indicated by a gray o. On is indicated by a blue I.
From any screen on the Gear Fit2, swipe down from the top of the screen. Touch the Brightness icon, and then touch the arrows to decrease the screen's brightness.
