SmartThings Wifi Hub LED Status Indicator

LED Status Indicator
Learn the status of your hub by checking the LED status indicator. Here’s what each one means:
No light: No power.
Green for several seconds: Hub is powered on.
Green blinking: This could mean the system is booting/initializing, processing setup, upgrading, or completing setup.
Alternates blinking red and green: SmartThings Wifi is ready to connect.
Red blinking: An error has occurred. This could also mean the hub is overheating.
Solid green: Internet is available or Wi-Fi is turned on.
Solid red: Internet is unavailable.
Alternating between green and red: The hub is searching for sensor.
No light to blinking green: The hub has been factory reset.
Turn Off LED Status Indicator
The LED Status Indicator is meant to help you decipher what’s going on with your hub, but if you don’t want to see it anymore, you can turn it off. Here’s how:
Navigate to and open the SmartThings app. Then, touch Menu, and navigate to the Location where the SmartThings Tracker is saved. Touch Devices, and then then touch the name of your SmartThings Wifi hub. Touch Network status, and then touch the hub you want to control. Touch LED indicator to turn it off.
