Manage your Digital wellbeing with your Galaxy phone or tablet
Spending too much time on something - including your Galaxy phone or tablet - isn't good for anyone. Luckily, the new Digital wellbeing feature can monitor your usage times and even set timers for some apps. Take advantage of this helpful tool, so you can take control your digital habits.

View your Digital wellbeing and set timers
Think of the Digital wellbeing feature as a budget, but for digital habits instead of spending habits.
Open Settings, and then tap Digital wellbeing. Here you can view your overall usage. Tap Dashboard to view exactly how much time you spent on your apps every day.
You can even set a timer for each app to help you keep track of how long you're using them. Tap No timer next to your desired app, and then select your desired amount of time. Or, tap Custom to set your own.
Use Wind down mode
Looking at a screen before going to bed can actually affect how well you sleep. To prevent this, turn on Wind down to change the screen to grayscale. This will help remind your brain that it's almost time for bed.
From Settings, tap Digital wellbeing, and then tap Wind down. Tap Turn on now or Turn on as scheduled. Next, adjust your other desired settings, such as Grayscale.
