Download or erase your personal data from Samsung Health
Maybe you've decided to start over with your Samsung Health journey and want to delete personal data from the app. Or, maybe you're just curious to see what personal data was collected. Either way, it's easy to download or remove your personal data from Samsung Health. The good news is that it only takes a few simple steps and the rest of your phone's data won't be affected.
Important: All of your Samsung Health data stored on the phone, as well as in Samsung Health and on the Samsung Health server, will be permanently deleted.
Download your personal data
If you'd like to know what kind of personal data is being used in Samsung Health, you can download and view the data to get a better idea.
Open the Samsung Health app, tap More options (the three vertical dots), and then tap Settings.
Swipe to and tap Download personal data, and then tap Download. Allow the necessary permissions.
When prompted, enter your Samsung account information, wait for the information to download, and then tap OK to finish.
To view the downloaded data, navigate to My Files, and then tap Downloads. Tap the Samsung Health folder and browse the downloaded files.
Delete your data
When you're ready to delete your Samsung Health data, you can do so right from the app.
Open the Samsung Health app, tap More options (the three vertical dots), and then tap Settings.
Swipe to and tap Erase personal data, tap Erase, and then tap Erase again to confirm.
When prompted, enter your Samsung account information, and then tap OK to finish.
The deletion process may take some time. You won't be able to sign into your account until all of the data is completely deleted.
