What's new for my 2022 Samsung soundbar
Samsung’s 2022 soundbars include impressive features and settings to elevate your home theater set up. Your soundbar can boost dialogue in movies with Voice Enhancement, calibrate the audio based on your surroundings with Spacefit Sound, and calm things down before bedtime with Night Mode. When you’re getting ready for a movie marathon, you can enable wireless Dolby Atmos for both the soundbar and your Samsung TV. Or, ask Alexa to do it for you! You can also use Chromecast or AirPlay 2 to stream music whenever you like.

Spacefit Sound
The Spacefit Sound feature on your 2022 soundbar provides optimized audio by analyzing the space around your soundbar. It will take into account the room size and environment to give you the highest quality sound, no matter where you are seated.
Using the soundbar’s remote, press the Sound Control button (it looks like a gear).
Then, press up on the directional pad to turn on Spacefit Sound. The LED indicator on the soundbar will blink once, letting you know the feature is turned on.
Note: You can press down to turn off Spacefit Sound.
You may also need to turn on the Adaptive Sound+ feature on your TV. Using the TV’s remote, navigate to and select Settings, and then select All Settings.
Select General & Privacy, and then select Intelligent Mode Settings. Select and turn on Adaptive Sound+.
Voice Enhancement and Night Mode
Your 2022 soundbar comes with two new sound modes that can be adjusted to fit your needs. For instance, if you can’t hear your favorite character in a movie, you can use Voice Enhancement to amplify the dialogue. And if you’re watching something late at night and need to keep the volume down, Night Mode will automatically decrease the overall volume, like music and other sound effects, while still keeping the dialogue clear.
Using the soundbar’s remote, press the Sound Control button (it looks like a gear).
Then, press up on the directional pad three times to enable Voice Enhancement.
Press up on the directional pad a fourth time to enable Night Mode.
Note: The LED indicator on the soundbar will blink each time you turn on a new function.
Wireless Dolby Atmos
Note: Wireless Dolby Atmos is available on select 2022 Samsung TV models.
Previous Samsung soundbars have included Dolby Atmos functionality, but your 2022 soundbar comes with wireless Atmos! This means you can enjoy intense surround sound when listening to music or watching movies without the use of an HDMI cable. It’s a complete soundbar-to-TV audio experience.
Alexa and Chromecast
Amazon Alexa comes built-in with your 2022 soundbar! You can give commands or ask questions, such as “Alexa, play Amazon music,” or “Alexa, what is the weather like today?” You can even ask Alexa to connect to Dolby Atmos. Please see the previous section for more details about Dolby Atmos.
In addition to Alexa, your soundbar includes Google Chromecast as well. Chromecast will let you stream music while you’re gaming or just hanging out.
AirPlay 2
Note: AirPlay 2 requires iOS version 11.4 or higher.
AirPlay2 lets you stream music and podcasts from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac right to your 2022 soundbar.
First, make sure the soundbar is turned on and is connected to the same Wi-Fi network on your iOS device. To check this, navigate to and open Settings on your iOS device, and then tap Wi-Fi.
Then, open the Control Center by swiping down from the top right corner of the screen.
Tap the AirPlay icon, and then select your soundbar from the list of available devices.
On a Mac, select the AirPlay icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen, and then select your soundbar.
