How to adjust your Galaxy Buds settings on One UI 8

If you've been using Samsung Galaxy Buds for a while, or even just with One UI 7, you are already familiar with navigating the Galaxy Wearable app to control them. However, those same controls you are familiar with have now moved on One UI 8. Read below for more information.

How to adjust your Galaxy Buds settings on One UI 8

Control your Galaxy Buds from the Bluetooth menu

Follow the steps below on your connected Galaxy phone to adjust the settings and controls on your Galaxy Buds.

  1. On your phone, navigate to Settings.
  2. Tap Connections.
  3. Tap Bluetooth.
  4. Now tap the Settings icon to the right of your Galaxy Buds.

What settings and controls are available

From this screen, you will see the same controls that you were previously able to find in the Galaxy Wearable app. The available controls will vary based on which earbuds model you have, but some options you may see include:

  • Ambient sound
  • Adaptive sound
  • Active noise canceling
  • Auto switch to ambient sound
  • Earbud controls (touch controls)
  • Voice controls
  • Advanced features
  • Accessibility
  • Find my earbuds
  • Diagnostics
  • Listen to Auracast broadcast
  • Manage connections
  • Software update
     

In addition to those controls, you'll also see Rename, Disconnect, and Unpair at the bottom.
