  1. Press the Top button to open the Launcher. Or, use the hand gesture: Hold your palm in front of you until the menu icon appears. Then, pinch your thumb and index fingers together when the menu appears.

Restore to original settings

Before resetting your Galaxy XR, back up your data, and ensure a network connection to log out of your Samsung account. Follow these steps to completely wipe your device and restore it to its original settings.

  1. Press the Top button to open the Launcher. Or, use the hand gesture: Hold your palm in front of you until the menu icon appears. Then, pinch your thumb and index fingers together when the menu appears.
  2. Select Settings, and then select Accounts. Select your account, and then select Remove account
  3. Next, select General Management from the menu on the left, and then select Reset
  4. Select Reset accessibility settings. Review the information, then select Reset settings, and then select Reset.

Your Galaxy XR will now be restored to its original state. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
