How to set up the Samsung MovingStyle

Setting up your Samsung MovingStyle is quick and straightforward. This guide walks you through assembling the stand, connecting your mobile device and PC using screen mirroring or wireless casting, and accessing key settings so you can start using your MovingStyle with ease.

How to set up the Samsung MovingStyle

Assemble your MovingStyle

  1. Combine the floor stand with the stand base.

  2. Check that a floor stand is firmly connected, and then tightly fasten the connection screw at the bottom of the stand base.

  3. Push the kick stand set into the assembled floor stand, and then confirm that the stand is tightly fastened.

Connect to your mobile device

Note
Both The MovingStyle and your mobile device must be connected to the same network.
You can easily connect your mobile device to The MovingStyle using screen mirroring or wireless casting.

Screen mirroring

  • Smart View: On Galaxy devices, open the quick panel and tap Smart View to mirror your mobile device screen to The MovingStyle.

  • AirPlay: For iOS, open the quick panel and tap the screen mirroring icon.

Wireless casting

Tap the Cast icon, then select your MovingStyle to wirelessly cast videos or content from supported apps on your mobile device for a seamless and convenient viewing experience.

Connect to your PC

You can easily connect your PC to The MovingStyle using screen sharing or AirPlay.
Note
This feature is not available for PC’s that do not support Wireless Display and is only supported by Windows 10 or higher.

Screen Sharing (Windows)

  1. On your PC, select Action Center or Devices in the notification area of the taskbar.

  2. Select Connect or Cast on the screen.

  3. Finish the connection process by selecting your MovingStyle on your PC.

Apple AirPlay (Mac)

  1. Select Screen Mirroring in the Control Center.

  2. Choose your MovingStyle from the device list.

    Note: If prompted, enter the AirPlay code displayed on your MovingStyle.
  3. Select a display option, then select Choose Display.

Access the Settings menu

  1. From the Home screen, swipe from the left edge toward the center of the screen, or press the left directional button on your remote to access the Settings menu.

  2. Select All Settings.

  3. You can access all feature settings, including Picture, Sound, Connections, and more.

Customize the Quick Settings

You can move the location of frequently used menus in quick settings.

  1. From the Home screen, swipe from the left edge toward the center of the screen, or press the left directional button on your remote to access the Settings menu.

  2. Swipe on the screen or press the right button to move the panel.

  3. Select Edit.

  4. Select the menu to move and arrange in your preferred order.

  5. Touch and hold the icon on the screen, or press the left or right button on your remote to move it to the desired location.

  6. Select Done when you’re finished editing.
