Galaxy S26 AI experience

AI select intelligently scans your screen and offers actions like translating text or adding to Samsung Wallet. 

1. Swipe inward from the right side of the screen to open the Edge panel, and then tap AI Select. Or, take a screenshot and tap AI Select from the toolbar. Additionally, you can use the S Pen (S26 Ultra) to open the Air Command and choose AI Select.
2. Outline the area or tap an object. AI Select will highlight it automatically. Drag the corners to resize or reshape.
3. Tap the highlighted area for options (e.g., call, email, Maps, Photo Assist), and then tap More options (the three vertical dots) for additional actions.

Use AI Select to edit images, extract text, create GIFs, or set wallpapers effortlessly.

Notification Highlights are designed to prioritize and summarize important notifications, ensuring you can quickly access critical information without being overwhelmed by less relevant alerts. 

To manage, navigate to and tap Settings > Galaxy AI > Notification highlights. Tap the following:

• Prioritize notifications: AI organizes your notifications, placing important and time-sensitive alerts at the top of the notification panel.
• Summarize notifications: For chat notifications, AI generates concise summaries to help you focus on key details. This feature ensures you stay updated on critical information without being overwhelmed by less important alerts.

To customize which apps' notifications are prioritized or summarized, go to Settings > Notifications > App notifications. Choose the desired app from the list, and then turn on the switch for the respective notification setting.

Bixby enhances your experience with a precise understanding of requests, offering seamless troubleshooting and instant device control through on-screen quick access. Its AI-powered search capabilities allow it to interpret natural language and provide answers to everyday questions efficiently. 

• To activate Bixby by voice, say "Hi Bixby."
• To launch Bixby with the Side button, navigate to Settings > Advanced features > Bixby > Side button settings > Long press. Choose Bixby from the options.

Call screening is a feature that utilizes AI to handle calls from unknown numbers, offering a summary of the caller's intent. This allows you to decide whether to accept or reject the call. The feature also automatically terminates calls identified as spam or scams, ensuring you only connect with important contacts.

To enable call screening on your device:

1. Open the Phone app.
2. Tap the More options (three dots) icon.
3. Select Settings > Call screening.
4. Turn on the switch at the top of the screen to activate call assistance and view the caller's reason for calling.
5. Enable Auto screen calls to automatically screen calls from unknown callers.

When a call comes in, tap on Call assist and choose Call screening. Galaxy AI will then evaluate the call and deliver a live transcription, enabling you to decide whether to accept or reject the call while the transcription is ongoing. After Galaxy AI connects, you can tap Text call to reply with a preset or personalized message.

Intelligent Document Scanner simplifies document capture by automatically detecting edges, adjusting orientation, and enhancing readability.

To use, open the Camera app, align the viewfinder with the document, and tap Scan. After scanning, you can:

• Adjust: Rotate the document.
• Filter: Apply filters to the document.
• Remove: Delete elements like fingers, folded corners, or moiré patterns.
• Retake: Rescan the document.
• Delete. Remove the scanned document.
• Save: Store the scanned document in the Gallery app.

Galaxy AI automatically groups and organizes your media into convenient categories, allowing you to manage photos and videos efficiently. Here's how:

1. Launch the Gallery app, and then tap on the Collections tab.
2. Tap on Edit collections to customize your categories. Select your preferences to include specific themes or types of media in the Collection.
3. Touch and hold an item within a Collection to drag and rearrange it in the list.
4. Tap the Back button to return to the Collections menu.
5. To add media, select a category like "People", and select photos or videos of individuals from your library to automatically group all their photos together.

Galaxy AI continuously scans your photo and video library to recognize media and instantly groups them into a single, convenient location, ensuring your Collections stay organized and up-to-date.

The Creative Studio feature on your Samsung Galaxy phone lets you generate images, style photos, design stickers, and create wallpapers using AI-powered tools. 

Swipe open the Edge panel and tap Creative studio, and then explore the following features:

• Generate a brand new image: Choose a style, type a description (100 words or fewer), and tap Generate.
• Style or decorate existing photos: Tap Add image, select a photo, apply styles, and add stickers, text, or images.
• Create stickers: Tap Create sticker, add a photo or sketch, type a description, choose a style, and tap Generate. Save and use in photos and messages.
• Generate wallpapers: Tap Wallpaper, add a sketch or photo, choose a style, type a description, and tap Generate. Save as wallpaper for your Lock Screen or Home Screen.

Experiment with styles and descriptions, organize projects, and share your creations.

To view and learn more about Galaxy AI features on your Galaxy S26, navigate to and open Settings > Galaxy AI and tap your preferred option:

• Call Assist: Real-time call transcription and translation.
