I live in a flat with a concrete floor and every washing machine I have had makes a real racket when on a full 1400 spin, this machine hardly makes a sound thanks to the digital inverter technology. When on a full spin you can talk at a normal volume, watch TV and talk on your mobile phone. The load capacity is fantastic and it calibrates before every wash to ensure that your washload is evenly distributed. The bubble technology makes sure every piece of clothing is clean and every stain is removed. The graphite colour way means the washing machine is even nice to look at! I really cannot recommend this machine highly enough, like the energy rating it is A+++

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes, and it came at an auspicious time, as we were looking for a new one.The washing machine is very quiet which is great especially when I have to do laundry when the rest of the house is asleep. The spin takes out a lot of the water giving room for a quick drying time, With a 9kg capacity, I can have more laundry done in less time - another great feature. The 15 minutes quick wash is very helpful for washing that needs minimal time. The washing machine removes stains and soil on clothes properly. I feel this is the best feature (ecobubble) as the detergent penetrates the fabric better removing dirt/stain easily. Previously I had to wash some of the kids soiled clothing twice but not anymore! The balance created from calibration creates a smooth sound to the drum spin. This washing machine has a lot of settings for washing to suit different kinds of fabric. In addition, one can add additional rinse cycles.This washing machine is well designed and performs wonderfully. I highly recommend the washing machine as a great product to invest in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes a month ago, and I wanted to give it a thorough test before giving an objective review. I can start be happily saying it is very easy to operate with plenty of washing options to cater for different loads, with clear buttons/ options to change the number of rinses, temperature, spin speed, including one called Bubble Soak, which is very useful for removing stubborn stains! The controls and display is clear and easy to see and use. I found this to be much quieter than my previous machine, particularly on the spin cycle and also boasts a large 9kg drum. However, out of the 11 different full wash settings, only 2 of them recommend the maximum load - the Cotton one, and the most eco-friendly; ECO 40-60. The machine helpfully plays a long melody when it has finished a cycle, so you will won’t be in any doubt when it is time to empty! It has a mute option though, as well as a child lock, along with the rest of the impressive features. What I found the most useful, and will use most though will be the delayed start option. You can defer the end of the washing time by up to 19 hours. So I can programme it at 10pm, for 10 hours, so the cycle ends at 8am the following morning, ready to hang outside. This is actually necessary as the main loads, which are also the most energy efficient, take over 3 hours long, so would not be practical to start when I wake and hang out before work! I should add there are shorter wash times, including a 15 minute one. The machine cleverly weighs the contents of the drum before starting so the times can be affected according to the load (as the ½ load button on older machines is not required). Also worth mentioning is the hygiene cycle, which has a steam function, which would be useful for those with allergies or health issues, as it boasts to remove 99.9% of bacteria, so will eliminate any horrible dust mites (and clean your facemasks!)!! Additionally, there is a DRUM CLEAN which kicks in every 40 washes, to keep the inside of the machine pristine! As far as the manual, I found this very easy to use, with clear pictures and explanation. What I found slightly bewildering was the installation sheet. This contains QR codes that take you to YouTube videos to take you through, which is very useful, unless you are technically challenged and don’t have a smart phone! This is very much an advanced machine with many useful features, with a great built quality. However, there is also support in the form of Samsung’s Smart Check app, which you can download to your smartphone, and use to troubleshoot your washing machine, in the unlikely event of an issue - I hope that I won’t be needing this, and the machine does carry a 10 year guarantee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a 9 kg ecobubble series 5 washing machine from Samsung. First impressions very well designed. Also very well built very sturdy, that's why Samsung's give you the 5-year warranty on their washing machines. This is a bonus getting a warranty with it for 5 years, you must remember that to register your machine online or by telephone. I have found that the machine is very easy to programme, with the selected programs on there as they are 14 programmes all together on the machine. You have got a quick wash 15 minutes. You've got fast wash 35 minutes. You've also got on there air cool wash, hot wash, woollen wash, delicate wash, intensive cold wash, hygiene wash this is very handy if you've got young children or you're in the health profession, as I was. You've also got on there rinse and spin, drain, and drum clean. I do think that is a brilliant idea when you've done 40 washes in the machine, it deletes and let you know no to put the drum clean cycle on. I do think full machine should have that now, as it will keep your machine fresh and clean and also save on repair bills. It's a very quiet machine when it is running, as I've tested it on the 14000 RPM. And there's no shaking there are very little noise at all that you know it's spinning at that speed. It's got a massive 9 kg drum on it, which is handy if you've got a lot of children or do a lot of washing. I also like it because it is a triple A+++ washing machine, so saving on the pounds for the electric as we all need to do now. So in general I think this an excellent machine from Samsung I do not know if they could put anything else on the machine as it's got everything that you need. Going to the showroom that sells washing machines and have a look I think you will be surprised how well built and the quality of this washing machine. I will recommend this washing machine to family, friends, and colleagues.

Sau 2 năm sử dụng cho gia đình 2 người, lắp đặt cố định, bảo quàn tốt, máy còn mới nhưng bị bể bạc đạn, gãy trục quay (Do nhân viên kỹ thuật Samsung xuống khảo sát mất 200k phí). Hướng giải quyết là thay mới cả công là 3,950,000. Điều này có nghĩa là tuổi thọ của sản phẩm Sam Sung chỉ là 2 năm bảo hành, hết 2 năm thì mọi trach nhiệm đầy về lỗi sử dụng của khách hàng. Samsung bán máy cho khách hàng thu về lợi nhuận, sau đó tiếp tục bán linh kiện giá cao bằng 1/2 giá trị máy thu lợi tiếp lần hai và biết đâu còn nhiều lần sau nữa. Bỏ ra hơn chục triệu để mua cái máy giặt về để sử dụng trong hai năm thực sự không xứng đáng. Chính sách bảo hành cũng thua xa các thương hiệu máy giặt khác lên đến 10 năm. P/s: Ngay từ lúc mua về đã có tiếng ồn rất lớn.

Just had this a day ago. I had no washer for almost 2 months as LG messed about with the repair. Finally I've got this new Samsung. As soon as it is set up I had to wash 4 loads.. Wash after wash. It is better compared to my old one which is almost cost the same price. I love the different programs and the tune after wash. Delivered on time by 2 gentlemen to my kitchen. Hats off to them as they had to go through 28 steps(felt sorry for them.. The joy living in the top floor). At the back of the machine there's a dent but didn't affect the use. Overall so far it is a great machine I hope it will last more than 5years.

🚨 THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING SAMSUNG APPLIANCES IN THE UAE 🚨 I’m deeply disappointed with my experience with @Samsung in Abu Dhabi. I bought a washing machine, trusting their brand, but they installed it with a plastic fitting instead of a metal one, leading to a massive leak in my apartment. The result? Flooded rooms, ruined new furniture, and mold—all because they chose to cut corners. I turned to Samsung for help, but they refused to take responsibility, blaming it on a pressure issue rather than their poor installation. They wouldn’t even give me a written response without a long online request process. It’s like my concerns didn’t matter to them. What hurts most is realizing that Samsung is so short-sighted. I used to buy most of my appliances from them, relying on their reputation. I was even considering a new TV, but this experience changed my mind. They focus on short-term savings by avoiding compensation, instead of thinking about the long-term trust and loyalty they’re losing. ⚠️ Potential buyers, beware: Appliances like washing machines, dishwashers, and air conditioners require proper fittings during installation. If Samsung uses the wrong material, like they did with mine, they may blame you for the issues. Don’t risk it. Why should I stay with Samsung when there are other brands that offer the same quality and price, but value their customers? Samsung, your ads and millions spent on marketing mean nothing if you treat your customers like this. You’ve lost me, and probably others, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes. The machine itself arrived 2 weeks ago and replaced an aging machine that had broken down and was awaiting a new part. First impressions? It looks BIG. Rather than being a flat-faced traditional style washer, this bulges out a bit. However, this still fitted easily into the space vacated by the old machine perfectly. Second - this looks like a modern washing machine, without having loads of complicated options or a touch screen you'd need a degree in computer science to operate. My only criticism is that it isn't clear whether the default Eco wash (ECO 40-60) washes at either temperature, and it is one of the few washes that the user can't change the temperature on - however the ability to choose from a multitude of simple options mean that this is a minor point. Feature wise - this has a GREAT fastwash option. The 15-minute fastwash has been well used already (although when you up the temperature to 30C and set the spin to 1200, it does move to 24 minutes!). This is still half the time our previous machine took - and in my experience the results are better. On top of that, our old machine had a tendency to eat at least one garment per wash - the fabric care drum in the Samsung has definitely made a difference here. Also - really dirty clothes after sport or activity? The Bubble Soak option makes a difference for soiled clothes without having to use extra detergent. We used this for a very dirty after-school load and our son's uniform came out clean - again in a shorter wash time than our old one. Hopefully it'll deal with my dirty clothes after a day's trail riding easily! Finally - why did we not get a machine like this when our son was pre-school? It is almost silent on full spin. The noise difference is more than just noticeable - we can hear ourselves think without closing the door to our utility room - before we had to have all doors closed to not be distracted by the noise. All in all I'm well impressed by the washing machine and I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new washer.

Lots quieter than my old washing machine and once I got the tap turned on properly for the cold water pipe it was running like a dream. Love how it works out how much water to use , what kind of spin you might need etc.., depending on the cycle you pick and the weight of your clothes. Even though it is pre programmed on certain cycles you can still alter the temp, how many rinses and the speed of the spin. So not set in stone. I actually like my music when it sings to you at the start of the cycle and end but you can switch this off. Well worth its money for the extra 5 year warranty .

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes. I have used the machine over the last week and used 3 of the many programmes. Quick wash - just to freshen up a blouse rather than a full wash as it was only worn for an hour previously. Worked as described, one fresh blouse. Mixed load - done in less than an hour, all stains removed. Wool load - washed in less than hour, no shrinkage in the jumpers, not overly damp so will dry in a reasonable time. Not tried the steam wash to get rid of bacteria but think this would be good for parents who use traditional terry nappies, less harmful for the environment than disposables. Instruction booklet is thick but it provides great in-depth instructions which would be good for the older-generation who struggle with technology. It explains each programme and what can be changed in terms of spin speed, temperature, number of rinses, delayed stop etc. Overall, great washer, quiet, lots of useful programmes and features

Good product, fairly quiet for a washing machine and we were able to purchase at a fair price too from a well known trusted retailer. It is our first Samsung home appliance and we have heard good things so we're keeping our fingers crossed all continues to work well. The only feedback we have is that to register the product for the 5 year guarantee, the product details were not on the machine where the online support information said it would be. However, after a few moments, we found the information needed to complete the registration within the allotted time frame.

Good choice of programmes and it shortens the cycle itself if under weight which is a great feature. Like that it switches off when finished saving energy. Clothes come out really clean and that's without the use of the bubble technology. Have yet to try this feature. A good choice just annoying to find it's gone down £50 in last few days since I bought it. Very annoying!! Shop around for best price. Recommend to others looking for a family sized, energy efficient machine.

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes. This is my first Samsung washing machine and it is absolutely fantastic! I’ve received this machine for about 1 week now and very happy with it. Design and quality overall is very nice and stylish. It has a lot of good features but I’ve just stick with the basics. The display panel and rotation knob look great, the digital display is nice and clear showing time remaining, the range of programs is considerable, operation is simple, fairly intuitive to use. Really stylish looking. It is extremely quiet, easy to select programs. The drum is spacious. This washing machine gives a perfect wash even on 15 minutes quick wash cycle, clothes are clean and well spun. Daily wash (“mixed load” programme on 40 or 60 degrees on your choice) is just an hour so I can get 2 -3 loads of washing a day done no problem. So I would say this Samsung washing machine is perfect for family with kids, for busy parents. I was pleased to see that this machine has a “quick wash” and “mixed load" setup programs as this helps me get through my washing quickly, and the clothes still come out perfectly clean. The one thing that really matter to me with washing machine is the melody that notifies the end of the wash, just to my mind, is too long and too loud. That’s probably the only thing, that I didn’t like in my new Samsung machine. It is very easy to use, it is quiet and takes a huge amount of washing per one load, which is what you need when you have a big family. Would I recommend this to my friend? Yes, I would. Definitely it’s a nice bit of kit.

When working this machine is fine, reasonable range of cycles and clothes generally come out cleaned well - although doesn’t always work well with pods which sometimes stay by the door and don’t open fully. However our machine has broken twice in the first 6 months, despite light-average use (2 person, adult household). Our spin cycle doesn’t work and whilst getting the first repair booked was easy, getting it repaired a second time is turning out to be very difficult. We’ve had a total of over 3 weeks with no working washing machine in the last month which is incredibly frustrating. I would recommend this machine for this reason.

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes. The washing machine has great features to suit any fabric type. It's quick was is very useful for short washed. I have seen the difference the ecobubble makes in washing compared to my previous washing machine. It is very quiet making it possible to do my laundry even at odd hours of the night. Although I haven't used the hygiene stem yet, I am pleased to have such a feature that will increase the level of hygiene in my clothes. You are guaranteed stain removal even without using the pre-wash, great for families with children. The extra rinse features allows for added rinse time during wash. The 9kg capacity is great allowing more wash at a time. I would recommend this product 100%.

I would avoid buying. On a quick was items come out still dirty. I then use a longer was cotten one I believe. It says 1 hour 40 mins to wash. It then starts to was and 20mins or so into washing ut changes the setting itself and changes to a much hotter wash and the time change to 3 hours 40 min. I don't like to leave the washer as it will start washing whatever wash it decides to choose for you. I'm really unhappy with the washer. It has also changed to a much hotter setting and then clothes get ruined. Shrinking wool items for example when I didn't choose that setting. Also every setting is so long and 1 setting makes my clothes smell of nothing. Also some times when I wash towels the door starts to bang really loud and move about almost seems asif it will come open.

Bought in November 2020, with the 5 year guarantee. Went into hospital had operation, when I eventually left hospital, went to use washing machine, half load. When I went back 20 minutes later, smell of fumes coming from back of machine, turned it off. Eventually I went to Curries to explain, as it was over a year old, 17 months, wasn't under warranty, gave me Samsung Number, explained what happened, sent an engineer out, he took the top off, said it was water damage caused by connection. Weeks later I have tried Curries, Samsung, and I have been told to claim from my home insurance. Looks like 5 year warranty is no good?

My last machine was an eco bubble 8kg in graphite, I loved the machine, had all the features i wanted but due to operator error the machines life ended early; I then brought this machine only last week, and although I cannot fault it, it is lovely and quiet, looks stylish and is easy to use, I am however disappointed that I didn’t realise that It does not come with a specific ‘drain and spin’, button, which I used often on my last machine. (I realise you can pull the pipe out in an emergency). I see the series 6 has this and wish I had looked into this more so for this reason I have only given it 4 stars for features

The presentation of the instructions does not really generate the same impression. One thing that would be nice for manufacturers to provide is a small laminated card listing recommended weight for different washes so that it can be left out. We have 4 adults in the house using our machine. A simple card as a guide would help to encourage correct use. Perhaps with dos and don’ts. Do zip up zips, turn buttons and embroidery inside etc. Don’t wash wash waterproof garments, shoes, rubber backed mats etc

I bought this machine yesterday and couldn't wait to use it. Digital display is absolutely fabulous and lets you see what is going on at each stage of the wash. Super easy to work. I love the fact that it is so quiet too. I washed my bedding and it came out lovely and clean. You can alter temperature and speed of the spin along with also being able to delay the wash. Thrilled to bits with it and the tunes it plays are so calming too at the end of the cycle. Definitely worth its money so far.

It has a lot of programs that are useful: hygiene, bedding, and drum cleaning, to mention a few. You can personalise all of them using welI-designed and easy to understand overrides. It is a perfect match of quality, reasonable price and excellent energy and quietness ratings (well deserved As in the last 2 categories). I have an open-plan kitchen and it was really important for me to get a machine that is quiet. You need to be careful with measurements because though the size is standard, the machine is so massive that the front panel may stick out a bit like in the photo, so it is good to make sure that you have enough space in terms of depth. Overall a great appliance like most Samsung stuff I have bought so far.

Poor machine, small items such as socks and washing pods always make there way to the front of the machine and get stuck in the seal, clothes often not been cleaned properly as the pod doesn't always dissolve due to this. I paid for the machine to be professionally fitted, the men who turned up couldn't speak English and did not fit the water pipe correctly causing a flood and damage to my cupboards, really let down with it all will not be using Samsung again

Love this. Makes washing much easier to select washes on phone and send to machine. But sadly you cannot stop or start the machine from your phone. One thing I like is how when you press pause, it immediately unlocks so you can add clothes. It’s so quiet and doesn’t move everything in the room when it spins. It’s silent and controls its spin well. I was able to get my 6 tog super king duvet in there so please with the capacity.

I love my new washing machine, i have always had Samsung products. 15 min quick wash has hygiene steam if you just need to freshen something that has sat in your wardrobe for a long time, it has drum cleam. Just received my second Samsung Eco Bubble- had a 7kg that gave me the 3E error code and had flashes of light coming from the bottom left hand area of machine when motor turned drum- so bought a new one. I have a few points to note... Door feels a little less substantial than previous model and inner rubber seal less tough/ thick. Don’t like that you simply pull the door to open rather than a push device- feels as though it is going to fail eventually. I use tabs and on the first wash with clothes, the tab came out from under the clothes pile and got stuck in door. So washing water not getting use of tab cleaning content. Small point, but previous machine had logo sited in same place - on drawer and it rubbed away. Simply moving it to top left or right would solve this issue. As this is where your hand touches drawer. I have to say my last Samsung was great, hence my second purchase.

So having read a lot of reviews and done a bit of research, I chose my new Samsung. So far I have been very pleased, it washes well, there is a variety of programmes to choose, has all the features I need and as I live on my own, the size is just right. It is relatively quiet, especially after my las t machine and plays a nice little tune when its finished, bonus! A family may need a bigger machine, however for myself, this is just right. I was also drawn to the extended warranty which is a big help after my last machine only lasted 3 or 4 years.

Very pleased with our washing machine so far. The extended warranty of 5 years gave me a lot more confidence as we had only recently bought a Bosch (3 years ago) and it died and cost a fortune to mend so ended up buying a new Samsung. Have purchased other Samsung products and have not been disappointed so hopefully our experience with the washing machine will be the same. So far the it's been very quiet, easy to use and washes well. Does what it needs to do and I am more than happy with that. The extended warranty makes it good value too. I thought the 8kg would be a little big for the two of us but, in reality, it ultimately leads to the need to do less washes. Good stuff and would recommend it.

The design of this machine is poor! Socks regularly get stuck in the door seal and then you have to squeeze the water out of them at the end of the cycle as they haven’t been spun. If the socks are white you can expect them to turn grey having been stuck in the door seal. In addition the child lock on this machine is ridiculous and laughable frankly. It stops the child from changing the settings but doesn’t prevent them from turning the machine off entirely in the middle of its cycle. There is then no way to resume where it was up to so you have to start again. Frustrating at best!!

This is a good washing machine and really is very quiet - which is the primary reason I bought it. However the child lock does not lock the power button - which is arguably the most fun button for a toddler to press because it makes a fun noise. I wish I had known this before buying - who makes a child lock and doesn't lock ALL the buttons!? So 2.5 hours into a 3 hour wash my toddler can come along and just turn it off, meaning the child lock is essentially useless. I wish I had bought a Hotpoint because the child lock works properly, but I can't be bothered to deal with Samsung to return this one. Having said all that the actual washing is really good and it really is as quiet as everyone says.

Had our last Samsung washing machine for around 11 years but the suspension finally gave up the ghost. The great value we had from that machine was a no brainer for us to get another Samsung. This one is even quieter than the last one and now has a 20 year motor guarantee and a 5 year parts and labour warranty. One of the best features is the quick wash setting which starts at 15 minutes (or a bit longer if you change spin speed or temperature) and is ideal for lightly soiled garments such as shirts, blouses or underwear, saves a lot on electricity and water... Great upgrade... 👍🏻

I have been using my new machine for almost a week now and I love it. The bubble soak option and 15 minute quick wash are wonderful additions compared to my old machine, and the interface of the machine is really user friendly. I love the sound effects when turning on/off the machine, choosing your wash and when the cycle ends. Also very glad I chose this colour way, the black door is really sleek and unusual compared to other models out there. A very welcome and surprisingly reasonable addition to my kitchen, I'm very glad I chose this Samsung model and would highly recommend it.

Replaced 7+ year old near identical machine. It has a programmer fault and leaking seal. Uneconomical to repair, albeit it would have easily kept going part from that. Decided to go again with Samsung. They offered a big return customer discount. New model looks a little better built on the door and has a few new features, such as steam setting. Like the old one it is quite when new - didn't last before! Supposedly comes with 5 year warranty but the website so far will not recognise the serial number copied and pasted off the Samsung OnLine invoice! Will try and solve.

Really disappointed in the functions. 15 min wash leaves the clothes soaking so then need to do a 20 min rinse and spin. No spin function to use separate. Quickest wash is 106mins so not handy if in a rush. Wish i had returned when it arrived damaged at back.

The washing machine is very quiet and performs great. Being connected to the Samsung Smart things is a neat future, getting notified on my phone when a wash or spin cycle is done as well as setting up the next cycle. It took a bit of figuring out how to set the washing machine on just a spin cycle as the manual it came with did not clearly state this. My old Samsung washing machine had the option just by turning the dial. To set it to spin only i had to press and hold the spin button for a couple seconds and then it worked! other than that i am very happy with this machine.

I recently purchased this washing machine as an upgrade from an old one. The design is quite sleek (although would have preferred a straight up black option, but that's my own personal preference), the features and performance are spot on with a wash for near enough every occasion (as well as a very quick 15 minute wash for lightly soiled clothes). The biggest draw for myself was that this washing machine is A+ rated in terms of energy saving and to couple that with a VERY quiet machine, is honestly phenomenal. It took me roughly 10 minutes to install the machine and within another 20 minutes, I had completed my first wash with it! Highly recommend and I feel like it's one of the best at this price range.

Love the smooth settings control dial that lights up and chimes. Door closes like a Rolls Royce. Very quiet while operating. Clothes are coming out smelling great and cleaning some old stains that my previous machine couldn’t. With a B energy rating this machine should save me money in the long term too. Love the little tune it plays when its cycle is complete. Clothes are coming out very dry after the spin cycle. Would highly recommend this product.

I have only had my washing machine a week but I can already say how much I love it! This is my second ecobubble but the sixth Samsung electrical product over the years and the reliability of what you are getting is excellent! This ecobubble 5 has more features and a digital inverter which makes it run extremely quietly ! It’s variable short wash (15 mins ) is refreshing as now the temperature can be increased as well as the spin speed! Excellent facility if short on time or need items washed quickly! Would always recommend a Samsung ecobubble! I am a convert!

This is the first Samsung washing machine we have ever owned. It is quiet in operation. The controls took a bit of getting use to as the layout is different to my old machine. Something I noticed was that the drum spins a few times before the water is added if you use a liquid filled ball in the washing this might be an issue to you if you use a delayed start cycle. I don't use that option so it is not an issue for me but do a bit of research if you do to make sure it wont cause you problems. Overall I am very pleased with it and the wash it produces.

I live in a flat with a concrete floor and every washing machine I have had makes a real racket when on a full 1400 spin, this machine hardly makes a sound thanks to the digital inverter technology. When on a full spin you can talk at a normal volume, watch TV and talk on your mobile phone. The load capacity is fantastic, and it calibrates before every wash to ensure that your wash load is evenly distributed. The bubble technology makes sure every piece of clothing is clean and every stain is removed. The graphite colour way means the washing machine is even nice to look at! I really cannot recommend this machine highly enough, like the energy rating it is A+++

If you’re not tech savvy believe me save your money and look elsewhere. Some functions you would never use and to be fair not require. Why no spin function only is beyond me. Why oh why don’t these makers of washing machines just produce a washing machine that just washes for 30 mins at any temperature and has various spin levels. Something simple, basic and user friendly. You’re probably wondering why I’m writing a critical review about a Samsung WW80CGC04DAE? I’m actually writing it on behalf of my partner who I might add returned the product.

Washing machine feels fresh, should suit lots of modern décor with the black screen, dial and door as well as the blue display digits and cycle selection dial lights. Cycles are varied including the eco bubble option, steam, and also various options for temperature and spin speed on most cycles I have tried. Downsides hence the 4 star are the slightly larger body size which may make it unsuitable for some spaces and the tendency for the washing machine to perform very long cycles e.g. when selecting a cycle, eco cotton may say approximately one and a half hours for the selected temperature, washes and spin speed but once the cycle starts and the door locks, the time displayed changes to close to three hours, which does seem excessively long.

it seems very complicated to start with but once you get use to it it is very easy to use and especially being able to change the temperatures and spin speeds to suit your own program rather than the preset program i.e. you can have 40deg wash on the short cycle. The fact that the time changes to suit the program you have selected, one thing is the fact you can open the door as soon as it finishes rather than having to wait like our previous machine, one novel feature is the tune it plays when it has finished and also it gives a good claen.

Only had it a day and it is still doing its first wash so can't comment on durability or effectiveness of the wash just yet, but have a feeling we'll be pleased! Happy with the ease of installation and the quiet cycle. You can pause the cycle and the door opens straight away which is good. Drawback was that the calibration instructions in the booklet provided were not specific to our model so we had to google it until we found a YouTube video with our same model. Also, it is not as sleek in person as I thought it looked on the website.

To be clear we are only 10 washes into owning this 9kg Samsung washing machine but wow ! The machine makes a much more palatable noise than any machine we've ever had. We have tried the hygienic steam wash and the results are great, also the first load of towels we washed now look like newer towels ! :-0 how grubby had our washing got ? This Samsung is washing and rinsing our laundry better than we've had for years..ever.. So far very impressed. It's actually easier to use than our last machine even though it has much more features.

quiet machine, love the fact it 'sings' when it finishes. Not used many features as yet but Have washed the dogs beds and towels etc in it this week and then did a drum clean - amazing results - had no hesitations about putting in the next load of our clothes - which came out lovely! What a great feature.. Not sure what all the icons mean when you turn it on, if I had the inclination I'd google them, butwould be nice if they were in the instruction booklet. Fingers crossed it lasts longer than the last one from a competitor (2 years)

There is a plethora of wash options, with further individual options for wash temperature, spin speed and rince cycles and the 9kg drum accommadetes my dogs beds and blackets with ease, for the money paid it is value and quality of a good price, plus the added extra of having the machine installed and tested for leaks before the guys left, for complete peace of mind and my old machine taken away for recycling. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this when mine broke down after reading the reviews...I agree that it's quiet on the spin cycle and washes well ( 3 washes done so far: jeans; towels; t-shirts and underwear) good variety of programmes with Quick 15mins wash, Cottons, Mixed Load & Wool, to name a few that I will use. I haven't tried the Ecobubble function yet, but it sounds useful for tough stains. The tune when the wash ends is annoying, but can be switched off!! If you are bothered about the aesthetics, it should be noted that the door is huge and black and doesn't fade into the background!! But obviously doesn't detract from the operation of the machine. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend. It also qualifies for a free Samsung 5 year warranty so that's good too.

Especially like how it weighs the load and shortens the cycle time. Only downside is I can't seem to work out how to use liquid detergent in the compartment as that extra section part for liquid use is very small and awkward to fill, unless I'm not fitting the part on correctly so really wish I'd opted for the machine with auto dose. Overall though everything is working great so far

Terrible machine and awful support from Samsung. Not sure if my machine has an issue but the cycle never ends, leaving my wife and I stressed and the spin does not activate, well some times it does and sometimes it doesn't there is simply no logic. It also ripped our clothes which Samsung put down to an issue with the drum but they never paid for the replacement of the clothes. Ive been trying to get Samsung to send a replacement machine and they simply will not sending out useless support people who never fix my issue.

We had to buy a washing machine in an emergency because our old one broke. This one is truly very nice - VERY quiet, the clothes come out perfectly clean and fresh. But there is one problem - small items get stuck in the gasket at the bottom of the door - especially ankle socks. They need a good squeeze and rinse. I also had a corner of a sweater lodging in the gasket and pushing on the door which caused a bad seal on the door and leak. I doubt I would have bought the machine if I knew this fault in the design.

Annoyingly the child lock doesn’t work for the on/off button so if small fingers press or you lean against it (as it also sticks out from the unit a lot more than our last machine of a different brand), the machine will turn off. When you turn back on, it doesn’t remember the cycle or where it got to so you have to do the load again. It’s frustrating when a long way into the cycle or if drum full of water. This apparently is how it’s meant to be so I feel skeptical of other machines and appliances they have operating in the same way. Feel this is a common-sense miss in the design stage. It also doesn’t remember favourite programs like my last machine so each time I have to set it, which isn’t too much of a hardship but feels like a step back from my ‘old’ machine.

Previously always had Hoover machine and had been haplyt with that machine however took advice from sales staff and decided to purchase Samsung washing machine. Not as happy with my purchase. The 1400 spin I do not think is as efficient, the machine do not fit the space as snuggly, after door is opened the machine do not remain at the off position but programmes itself for another wash which athough it turns off after a while is an irritant. I am less satisfied than with the hoover and I paid more which is not good.
