I live in a flat with a concrete floor and every washing machine I have had makes a real racket when on a full 1400 spin, this machine hardly makes a sound thanks to the digital inverter technology. When on a full spin you can talk at a normal volume, watch TV and talk on your mobile phone. The load capacity is fantastic and it calibrates before every wash to ensure that your washload is evenly distributed. The bubble technology makes sure every piece of clothing is clean and every stain is removed. The graphite colour way means the washing machine is even nice to look at! I really cannot recommend this machine highly enough, like the energy rating it is A+++

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes, and it came at an auspicious time, as we were looking for a new one.The washing machine is very quiet which is great especially when I have to do laundry when the rest of the house is asleep. The spin takes out a lot of the water giving room for a quick drying time, With a 9kg capacity, I can have more laundry done in less time - another great feature. The 15 minutes quick wash is very helpful for washing that needs minimal time. The washing machine removes stains and soil on clothes properly. I feel this is the best feature (ecobubble) as the detergent penetrates the fabric better removing dirt/stain easily. Previously I had to wash some of the kids soiled clothing twice but not anymore! The balance created from calibration creates a smooth sound to the drum spin. This washing machine has a lot of settings for washing to suit different kinds of fabric. In addition, one can add additional rinse cycles.This washing machine is well designed and performs wonderfully. I highly recommend the washing machine as a great product to invest in.

Just had this a day ago. I had no washer for almost 2 months as LG messed about with the repair. Finally I've got this new Samsung. As soon as it is set up I had to wash 4 loads.. Wash after wash. It is better compared to my old one which is almost cost the same price. I love the different programs and the tune after wash. Delivered on time by 2 gentlemen to my kitchen. Hats off to them as they had to go through 28 steps(felt sorry for them.. The joy living in the top floor). At the back of the machine there's a dent but didn't affect the use. Overall so far it is a great machine I hope it will last more than 5years.

A know problem with the EcoBubble machine is the faulty door seals / wire clamp. This problem was featured on BBC the one show 16 Oct 2024. My Machine is only 18month old and Samsung insisting this is damage not covered under Warranty and to fix this would cost me 30% of the purchase price , although the part only costs a few pounds. The faulty seal / clamp means the machine leaks water. Search online it’s a common problems with hundreds of unhappy customers. Totally disappointed with Samsung. I expect the machine to last longer than 18months

Loving the ‘magic’ eco bubbles (mix of air, water and detergent) creating bubbles which let us save money by washing clothes at lower temperature, thus saving us money. The hygiene steam cycle for underwear gives peace of mind too. Even the 15 minute wash just to freshen up our clothes which aren’t really dirty enough for full wash programme is economical. It’s still early days yet as machine is still new to us so lots more to discover but very pleased with it so far. All this with the fact that machine has a modern sleek appearance making it aesthetically appealing too. Will attach photo to show. Very happy buyer.

Awful machine do not buy .. Bought this machine and wanted a 9kg load but the noise it makes when spinning is absolutely ridiculous. Sounds like a machine gun It's been levelled perfectly and the feet are locked ... The drum rotates totally unevenly even with a very small load .. Samsung say its meant to do that which is absolutely nonsense as never had any machine do that in the past 40 years If you want a machine that bangs and rattles no matter the size of the load buy this machine... Absolutely hate this thing now and will probably just scrap it when able to afford a new one and buy a totally different make ... Truly a terrible buy and Samsung customer care do not want to know ...

We bought a washing machine, with 5 years warranty. I wasn't any happy with the quality of washing, compared to my old one, other make, same capacity of load but to save myself the trouble , decided to keep it The first need of repair was 3 weeks after the purchase - they acted quick and reasonable, then after 6 months of use ( the machine is placed in a completely dry room) the machine got a nasty rust at the front top panel - they said it isnt their problem. And a month ago the machine flooded my first floor, the leakage is coming from inside, not from the connecting hoses - their first booking for repair was for a week after, then been cancelled by them, then we made another booking - 2 weeks longer longing, again cancelled and its now a month without working machine still in a warranty. Same model in Germany is with 10 years guarantee :D

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes. The washing machine has great features to suit any fabric type. It's quick was is very useful for short washed. I have seen the difference the ecobubble makes in washing compared to my previous washing machine. It is very quiet making it possible to do my laundry even at odd hours of the night. Although I haven't used the hygiene stem yet, I am pleased to have such a feature that will increase the level of hygiene in my clothes. You are guaranteed stain removal even without using the pre-wash, great for families with children. The extra rinse features allows for added rinse time during wash. The 9kg capacity is great allowing more wash at a time. I would recommend this product 100%.

This is the second Samsung washing machine I've had. Like most things about it,( which is why I bought another) except one thing- the detergent build up in the detergent drawer, despite my continually cleaning it. It coats the inside of the main and prewash compartments, cannot be removed ( I've tried everything including bleach). I contacted Samsung- was told I should not be using powder detergent in the drawer! Huh? Nowhere in their manuals etc does it say don't use powder detergent in the drawer! Seems it should be put in the drum! But then you can't do a prewash... Very disappointed- they could at least sent me a replacement drawer, I felt fobbed off basically

I bought this machine yesterday and couldn't wait to use it. Digital display is absolutely fabulous and lets you see what is going on at each stage of the wash. Super easy to work. I love the fact that it is so quiet too. I washed my bedding and it came out lovely and clean. You can alter temperature and speed of the spin along with also being able to delay the wash. Thrilled to bits with it and the tunes it plays are so calming too at the end of the cycle. Definitely worth its money so far.

If I could give this product 0 stars I would , where do I start ! The washing machine has banged around and leaked when washing since new ! only 10 months old I booked a service engineer to look at my washing machine to be told that it wasn't covered by the "5 year warranty" as they believed I had caused damage to drum, which i didnt !!! I'm disgusted by Samsung Customer service , you only have to look at reviews and Facebook market to know how many defective washing machines Samsung makes.

By far the worst machine I have ever bought. In my opinion it is faulty machine, but Samsung don't agree . On that basis then the noise on spin is clunky a if there a brick inside. Don't dare to run if there's any visitors in the house and certainly can't run overnight as it will keep me awake, and probably the neighbours. As amazing stay it is "unbalanced load" and items should be loaded one at a time and with a full load. What's the point of 20 min short cycles etc if you always have to have a full load with an even number of towels? Btw - yes, it still made a racket with the full load each sock at time.

My washing machine had been on the way out for a while. I knew Samsung was the brand I wanted and this machine had great reviews. So pleased I purchased this! Great machine, clothes smell so much better than they did coming out of the old machine. Loads of great settings, the bubblesoak adds time onto the wash but its great particularly for whites. Hysterical little jingle at the end of the cycle which goes on a bit, but makes the kids laugh. Only slight tiny niggle is that it can be a bit loud at times, but otherwise cannot fault it. The free delivery, install and recycling was a fantastic bonus. Need a new washing machine....look no further! BUY THIS!!

Fantastic machine only let down by the wrong info on Samsung's website telling wrongly where to find the serial number. If the people filling in the website details were as good as those who make the machines I would not have spent ages looking for a serial number which appears to be only available through their app. What a pity this review has to be so honest and I cannot be bothered to add anything about the machine. Hopefully reading this will get someone to sort out the website and correct info to be given to those looking for the serial numbers. Some review stars taken away due to this ballsup, otherwise all would be 5 stars.

I bought this washing machine a month ago and simply loving it. Tried few different cycles and every single one works great. What I love the most about this machine is that cotton 60' cycle takes little over 1,5h to complete (my old washing machine needed 3 hours!). It's quiet, spins well and clothes come out almost dry! The only downside is that small clothing such as socks sometimes get trapped between the rubber sleeve and door but I started using washing bags and it solved the problem. It was easy to set up the machine before first use and it comes with 5 years warranty. Overall I can highly recommend SAMSUNG Ecobubble washing machine. It's worth every penny.

I bought this a while ago and love it! Very quiet, works brilliant and has great features! You can choose shorter programmes, longer ones, different temperatures, spin, rinse, bubble soak etc. on the electronic display according to the wash you’re doing. Leaves laundry quite dry even on lesser spin which is fab. And of course washes well! It does a little (well quite long) jingle once it’s done washing which my son loves, but it can be turned off as well. Can wash bigger loads or smaller ones as it calculates how much weight is inside and adjusts length of wash accordingly. Love this washing machine! Very stylish too.

I love my new washing machine, i have always had Samsung products. 15 min quick wash has hygiene steam if you just need to freshen something that has sat in your wardrobe for a long time, it has drum cleam. It is just an excellent product all round and I couldn't be happier. If you are looking for a great washing machine then this on is it or any Samsung product as I have watches, phones, I would not buy anything else.

I had to buy a washing machine in a hurry as we really trust Samsung products, but have never bought white goods from them , I took a look at the reviews and video of this ecobubble version. Washed our first load and were pleased with the results so far. Not tried all the different programs yet, but clothes were done cool quick wash. The delay timer took a bit of understanding as its not the start time, but finish time with no visual countdown as was the case on our old machine. Easy to use otherwise, and very quiet even if the tv is on in the kitchen. Really pleased with the price and the 5 year warranty offer with this model. The black and graphite colour goes brilliantly with our granite worktop too .

Very easy to use. Love the fact that you can adjust each programme ie. Temperature, number of rinces ect. So the washing time adjusts accordingly. On 1st start up if you Calerbrate machine which is simple to do, it goes on to weigh each load at the start of every programme and adjusts the time depending on how much laundry is in the load. Very quiet even on full speed spin. I'm trying to think of a negative but so far I haven't found one. Highly recommend!

We bought another branded washer less than 2 years ago and the bearings have just gone, outside of the warrenty period. Very disappointing. It was always loud. A very good washing machine with energy efficient results.The wash times can be longer than a conventional model but this makes it energy efficient and a better wash The eco bubble lathers up the washing powder helping it clean deeper. It has an automatic half load detection the default functions for each wash program can be changed before washing. Only problem I have encountered is a sock usually wnd up stuck in the door by the end of the wash

Have been using my new machine for about 3 months and couldn't be happier. Things I like: lots of settings, but not nearly as confusing as my old machine which had 100 weird symbols that I could never interpret so I just used the same three settings over and over. It also plays a little tune when it is done. Somehow this is easier to hear when you are on the other side of the house because it isn't just a loud one-off sound that you might think came from the neighbors... it catches your attention and is a bit cheerful (it makes you smile even though no one likes laundry). Finally, it does the job really well--whether it is delicates or filthy sports gear--and it didn't cost the moon.

This is a great washing machine with all the features necessary for washing a variety of different items. As a parent of young children and a baby I really like the hygiene and steam option for cleaning particularly dirty clothing and cloths. We have our machine in the kitchen dining room and it is quiet enough that we can have it running whilst also sat eating our family meal together. Samsung were excellent when registering our warranty and unlike our previous machine of a different brand did not try and upscale us further cover at extortionate prices. Excellent machine would highly recommend.

I bought the machine 3 weeks ago, as my other machine (Hotpoint) was not spinning the clothes out, so had this Samsung to replace. I did spend a lot of time looking and checking reviews on all machines, and decided finally on this one, and now after using it these past weeks, am very pleased with its performance, and its so much quieter than the Hotpoint, and the spin is great. Have tried most of the different washes, and its so easy to use. At the end of the wash it does a lovely tune to remind you its finished. My son had one in the Granite colour 2 years ago, and he recommended also.

Just installed this as a replacement for a LG which has lasted longer than any other machine (5 in the last 21 years) so time will tell if this performs as well. It is very well constructed and quiet due to the Inverter Motor. Not had chance to test all functions yet but the washes so far (Hygienic Steam and Bubble function mainly) give excellent results. Also registered for 5 years extended warranty which gives peace of mind. It is going to have a hard life ahead but I am sure it will be up to the task !

Recently purchased this Samsung washer, suits me perfectly as I am 75 years old, the control panel is strait forward and makes it easy to select the right programme for your wash, plenty of setting to choose from but uncomplicated. It provides a quiet performance and a nice clean wash with excellent 1400 spin speed, the eco-bubble is nice to give clothing a soak to remove any stains and there is a steam function to rid your items of any bacteria, has time delay function and plays a little melody to indicate the end of the cycle. A very nice addition to any kitchen or utility room.

Replaced 7+ year old near identical machine. It has a programmer fault and leaking seal. Uneconomical to repair, albeit it would have easily kept going part from that. Decided to go again with Samsung. They offered a big return customer discount. New model looks a little better built on the door and has a few new features, such as steam setting. Like the old one it is quite when new - didn't last before! Supposedly comes with 5 year warranty but the website so far will not recognise the serial number copied and pasted off the Samsung OnLine invoice! Will try and solve.

Good but last one broke after 4 years and I hadn’t completed the registration for the 5 year warranty (which they make very difficult on the website - can’t click on certain boxes to continue etc). No hand wash cycle which would be useful and annoying that the filter gets clogged and takes ages to manually drain. Never had that on previous washing machines. Bought the same machine again because I was given a discount code and it matches my dryer otherwise I would have bought a different brand.

I recently purchased this washing machine as an upgrade from an old one. The design is quite sleek (although would have preferred a straight up black option, but that's my own personal preference), the features and performance are spot on with a wash for near enough every occasion (as well as a very quick 15 minute wash for lightly soiled clothes). The biggest draw for myself was that this washing machine is A+ rated in terms of energy saving and to couple that with a VERY quiet machine, is honestly phenomenal. It took me roughly 10 minutes to install the machine and within another 20 minutes, I had completed my first wash with it! Highly recommend and I feel like it's one of the best at this price range.

Bought the Samsung washing machine after reading the reviews. In my opinion there’s nothing special about the machine. Very complicated to use and the clthes after the spin at are still very damp. Have to put the spin cycle on again adding time on and extra energy use. Not economically at all the bubble soak is no existence,could be that I use tablets instead of powder. Overall my previous machine was a hotpoint which was simple and easy to use with twice as many programs. Including 45 minutes wash. I regret getting this machine, as 9kg takes around 2hrs 40 min @40 wash

This machine has high ratings and is classed as an A rating machine. It has an A rated spin and clothes come out of the machine very well spun, depending what programme has been used. It is so quiet especially on the spin that I thought the machine had stopped. What I must comment on is the outstanding, courtesy, professionalism and how helpful the lady was that I spoke to when I rang to register my new washing machine. For confidentiality reasons I am only going to refer to her as A**** but I'm sure her manager knows whom I mean, She was brilliant. Thank you.

This is a replacement for my old Samsung machine which gave excellent service for 12 years and still looked like new. When we put it out for recycle collection by the council the following morning, someone put it in their car and drove off with it as 2am in the morning.???

Replaced a Sharp washing machine that died 1 month after warranty ended. This is far better and quieter machine with a 5 year warranty! Even the spin cycle is much quieter than my other machine. It makes ridiculous sounds when pressing buttons and the jingle (which you can disable) is a 2 minute beeping tune. Only downside is the kids love all the noises it makes so I have to turn it off at the power. If I can disable all sounds that would be the only improvement, otherwise it's a great machine for washing, operating sound, and warranty.

To be clear we are only 10 washes into owning this 9kg Samsung washing machine but wow ! The machine makes a much more palatable noise than any machine we've ever had. We have tried the hygienic steam wash and the results are great, also the first load of towels we washed now look like newer towels ! :-0 how grubby had our washing got ? This Samsung is washing and rinsing our laundry better than we've had for years..ever.. So far very impressed. It's actually easier to use than our last machine even though it has much more features.

My washing machine drum oscillates excessively and whines when increasing RPM, this happens when just washing a half load of cotton towels or bed sheets or t-shirts, not using dissimilar items. Worst washing machine I have owned in 15 years won't be buying anymore Samsung products in the future due to the appalling warranty service I have received and others have shared online in the thousands of reviews on Trustpilot. I am a Dr of Mechanical Engineering and suspect that the tub bearing is an issue as well as the shock absorbers. I can't inspect myself as it will void the warranty. Samsung sent round a sub contacted engineer to repair under warranty but he did not find an issue (all he did was plug his phone into the diagnostics with the drum empty).

Series 5 ecobubble 9kg DD. This machine has impressed me. Had a few washing machines over the years, but this one wipes the floor with them all. Slightly smaller on the depth means it fits further back under the worktop. Easy to use and programme wash cycles. Really is so quiet. Clothes come out drier than previous 1400 spin machine. Can't find anything to moan about.

This machine looks fabulous in the dark Graphite finish. The machine washes very efficiently and the operation is smooth and slick. No nasty vibrating off the the floor plinth that use To happen with my old LG machine. So far we are delighted with this product and trust the Samsung brand(we also own a number Of Samsung televisions including the amazing 55in Qled model). Very pleased with this washing machine delivered by John Lewis complete with a Samsung 5years parts/repair warranty and 10 year drum Guarante.

I received this washing machine from Samsung for product testing purposes. With doing a wash load nearly every day, and having an open plan kitchen, the noise from the washing machine used to be ridiculously loud. With this new machine, even on full spin it’s so quiet. I bought the Samsung Ecobubble to replace my old leaky Hotpoint. Wow, i wont be buying any other make washing machine again. It is extremely easy to use, clothes come out smelling fresh and clean. It is quiet and very stylish with the added feature of musical alerts at the end of the cycle. Quick wash of 15 minutes for a small load proved fantastic for a small family cutting down on our bills. If you buy one dont forget to ring Samsung to activate your Warranty. Thank you Samsung for another brilliant product!!

This our second of this series washing machine. Both our kids have purchased this model. We love the 20-year motor guarantee and the accompanying 5-year machine guarantee. The serial number appears to be only available through a scan with a smart phone and the registration is a pain with too much promotion en-route.

Seems a great, super quiet machine. Information to compare energy/water use of cycles is very limited in manual. No data for mixed load, intense cold, hygiene steam, wool, colours, bedding options. Great to have so many programmes but unhelpful not to have relevant energy info.

I have had the product for 8 months now. The door seal has perished in several places. Samsung claim that this is a consumable part and will not honour the warranty. I can only conclude that this product has a poor build quality and you should not buy this product.

This is the worst machine I have ever had. It bangs and knocks so badly when going onto a spin cycle no matter what I have in it… unless empty. We have checked that it is level and followed all the instructions by the agents in the call centre… made a few different calls and had to go through the same rigmarole each time, clearly no records are kept. Engineer has attended and said this is normal for a large drum machine and to only use half full… still the same like this and what’s the point of buying a large drum machine if you can not utilise it. Had a previous model of this when I lived in Spain with no problems and been told the European market is different. Feel stuck now with this machine for the next 10 years as also bought the tumble dryer to match it which I’m happy with.

Not used for long but so far... great. Good choice of programs, nice to be able to pause and door opens immediately, the same at the end of the program and turns itself straight off. Most programs can adjust spin speed/temperature. Seems to clean well. Very quiet even whilst spinning. Only noisy bit is the song it plays at the end of a program - but this is fun and kids love it (and you can turn this feature off) My only very minor negative is the waste pipe is very short compared to previous machine.

Machine washes well, as expected. It was easy to install, is a lovely colour and very importantly - is quiet. The only negative is the instructions aren’t great. It seems to assume you know what all the symbols for the options mean - which I don’t !!

I really love this washing machine. Had a Beko washer dryer before that we had to repair twice in 4 years (out of warranty) and decided to ditch it and get a proper middle class washing machine that will last. Really glad we got this one. The Bubble wash and Hygiene Steam functions are very helpful as we got cats that sometimes will pee around and I can make sure everything is hygienic. I was also surprised with how quiet it is. Now we can was at any hour of the day and don't annoy the neighbours.

Had a Samsung washer for many years. Was on sometime 3 times a day. Lasted 7 years but done the work of twice that. When it finaly died I had no hesitation to buy a new Samsung. This time a larger drum. Like the drum cleaning facility.

I was down in the dumps about having to replace my old washer! But I have to say that this machine is a delight and has more than made up for it! I never thought a washing machine could be this exciting! As well as looking super cool, with its modern thick black accents and serene turquoise operation lights, it’s unbelievably quiet in operation. It’s easy to use and it even plays a little tune when the cycle is finished. If a washing machine could ever make you happy, then this would be it!!

Had the machine for a few weeks now tried out 5 of the programs for different loads, all cycles washed well at the various time lengths quickest was an hr 20 the longest I used was 2hrs 30ish, it has a great drum size and door opening. This is a large machine but is fairly quiet, the only slight issue is small kids socks or washable masks occasionally get trapped in the rubber seal, this has just happened 2 in 12 washes and only 1 item each time. However I am very happy with the machine

This is my second review- also poor design feature does not allow you to wash a single item such as jeans or bath mat as the spin function will not work unless there is an even weight in the drum

I’ve had this Samsung washing machine from brand new after two months the bearings needs replacing. I’m still waiting now for six weeks to be repaired. This will be my last purchase from Samsung!

I've now had this machine for almost 2 years - so I feel that I can make an honest assessment - and I am not that keen. I yearn for the days when I could decide how long my wash should take, what intensity, what spin speed, how many rinses, high or low water levels, temperature controls - now I am dictated to by what feels like a stroppy teenager! The logic which used to prevail was that longer washes were more eco friendly because they used less water - but now electricity is so expensive that the machine selecting a 2hr 44 minute wash makes my hair turn white! When the 9kg machine is full - it won't spin on 1400 - it just carries on trying ad infinitum - wasting electricity for hours on end. Now I have to set it to spin at 400 first and then do it again at 1400 - which is total nonsense. Don't advertise it as a 9kg machine if it refuses to spin at full speed 80% of the time it's filled to capacity. My advice would be to anyone considering this machine - save your money and buy something more simple, more controllable and less expensive. I won't be caught out again by the marketing hype!

Chose this machine for eco and 5 year warranty. It was not easy to find the link online to register for the special warranty. The serial number was a QR code on the front of the machine and not a label inside the door. As already fitted the machine, couldn't pull it out to see if there was a label on the back. So hope the QR code is correct. Would have preferred a white port hole door, but this option wasn't available. Only used the machine a couple of times, but happy so far.

Great washing machine to start with. Brought this as our old one was very loud. This was nice and quiet to begin with as is have that special motor. Well once you've used it a few times it "beds" in and becomes soooo noisy! sounds like machine gun fire constantly. Engineer called out as it is under warranty and they said "There is nothing that can be done, once the damper wears in, due to the aggressive spin cycle set by samsung it becomes noisy". its horrible to listen to.

This is the worst washing machine I have ever had the misfortune to own. It does NOT spin one item on its own, When I wash the bathmat I have to take it to my father's to spin it in his machine as the bathmat will NOT spin in the Samsung under any circumstances. I have recalibrated the machine, had several engineers visit and it still does not spin. The only way it will spin, is to totally stuff the machine with dry towels until the bath mat can't move and then spin it.

The ecological status means long cycle times, little water usage, so rinsing is iffy- use less than recommended wash liquid even in a hard water area! It's quiet and smartly weighs washing so it probably adjusts the water levels, it empties the drawer with the power of a pressure washer then does its stuff, playing a tune when it's done maybe 2.5 hours later. Oddly, to me, the 7, 8 and 9kg versions all take the same loads on all washes except for the rated loads on cotton.

Had our previous machine for 7 years, but needed to replace. Without doubt, my first choice was another Samsung, owing to how well it had serviced my family of 4, including a husband who enjoys mountain biking, resulting in very muddy kit! The new one is even quieter. I like the fact the door releases the moment it finishes, on my previous machine, there was a minute delay from when it finished before it would release the door. Really, really pleased with our purchase.

We've had this washing machine for less than a month and so far, so good. We've had some issues with the washing duration but I will put this to user error. Also, the way the door closes is a bit...clunky. I've had older washing machine that their doors would lock in a more delicate way but as long as it works, I cannot fault it. Overall, based on the research and available budget, it's as we expect it. Also, considering that we use it almost daily, we hope it will last.
