My fingerprint is not recognized on my Galaxy S10+/S10 even after performing a software upgrade.
The new galaxy S10+/S10 software is now available globally. This software update provides various performance improvements,
including fingerprint recognition enhancements. After the device software has been updated please delete your existing
fingerprints and register a new one again to enhance your experience.
Also the GalaxyS10+/S10 may not recognize fingerprints when using screen protective film or screen protector that are
not approved by Samsung. By using thick protective films or glass type protective films you decrease fingerprint recognition rate.
We recommend to use only Samsung approved accessories which you can purchase at a Samsung Retailer or
an Authorized Samsung Service Center.
