Benefits of the AirDresser

Your AirDresser, which resembles a modern wardrobe, has a number of functions that make caring for your clothes simpler.

With particular care cycles designed for various fabric types, you can get rid of allergies and odors from your clothing. Use the steam setting on your AirDresser to remove creases from your favorite shirt. Instead, swiftly dry a rain-soaked coat so it's prepared for your subsequent outing. Your AirDresser will undoubtedly become an essential home device with all these advantages.

AirDresser do’s and don'ts

To avoid damaging your items, always review fabric care instructions and tags to determine the recommended cycles for your AirDresser. Avoid using it for heat-sensitive materials like rubber or latex, and porous items like sponges. Do not use it for heavily soiled or stained items; instead, use a standard washer and dryer. Also, do not use it as a substitute for dry cleaning for items that require professional care. For delicate items like fur, leather, lace, chiffon, or embellished items, use the AirDresser's specified cycles to remove dust and odors.

AirDresser accessories

Get the most out of your AirDresser with its versatile parts. Use Air Hangers for standard clothing like shirts, pants, skirts, coats, and suits, and the Weight Kit for trousers and long skirts. Hang pants upside down with legs clipped and Weight Kit on the waistband. For smaller items like hats and gloves, use the Accessory care zone and Built-in Shelf. The Accessory care zone has a rack for lighter items, while the Built-in Shelf can hold hats, stuffed toys, sheets, and pillows.

1 Does the AirDresser replace dry cleaning or ironing?

The AirDresser can refresh clothing with light wrinkles and remove odors, but more stubborn wrinkles may still require ironing. It does not directly replace dry cleaning, but can be used as a complementary solution for certain fabrics.

2 Is a water line connection required for the AirDresser, similar to my Samsung steam dryer?

No water line connection is needed. Simply fill the water reservoir tank located on the bottom right of the AirDresser with filtered water.

3 Does the AirDresser emit heat or moisture, and what safety features does it have?

No, the AirDresser does not emit heat or moisture and is safe to put other things next to. However, a minimum clearance of 1 inch on top, 0.2 inches on the sides, and 0.6 inches at the rear is recommended. Additionally, the AirDresser has safety features such as Child Lock, a magnetic door enclosure that can be opened from the inside, and the option for an anti-tip strap during installation to prevent tipping over.

4 Can I dehumidify a room with the AirDresser and What type of water do I put in the AirDresser?

Yes, the AirDresser has a "Room Care" cycle that can dehumidify the immediate area surrounding the unit. This cycle can run for either 2 or 4 hours, and before starting it, you should remove all items from the AirDresser and keep the door open as the cycle runs. However, it's important to note that the AirDresser is primarily designed for refreshing and sanitizing clothing, and may not be as effective as a dedicated dehumidifier for large-scale dehumidification of a room.

As for the type of water to use in the AirDresser, it is recommended to use filtered water to fill the water reservoir for optimal performance. Using filtered water helps to prevent potential buildup of minerals or impurities in the reservoir, which can affect the performance of the AirDresser.

5 What is the Built-In Shelf for? How do I use it? And What is the Weight Kit for? How do I use it?
  • The Built-In Shelf is perfect for items that can't be hung, like hats, sweaters, and toys. Remove the Built-In Shelf from the inside of the AirDresser door, then slide it into the track in the center of the AirDresser so that it lays flat.
  • The Weight Kit is designed to efficiently relax wrinkles from long garments, like pants. Clip the garment to the Air Hanger, remove the Weight Kit from the Accessory Rack, and attach it to the bottom of the garment. Pants should be hung upside down with the legs clipped to the Air Hanger and the Weight Kit clipped to the waistband.
