Water drains out immediately from Top-Load Samsung Washing Machine with 4C/5C Error
Check the drain hose position.
*If the hose is too low, it may create a siphone effect, pulling water out of the drum..
Adjust the height to eliminate the issue.
It needs to be between 90-100 cm. high from the floor.
Positioning the drain hose
1. In a drain pipe (When the stand pipe is >90cm high.
If The drain hose is connected to the stand pipe 90-100 cm high.
- Use the included plastic hose guide to keep the drain hose spout bent.
- Secure the guide to the wall.
- Ensure the hose is securely tied with the pipe using a cable tie.
Drain standpipe requirements:
• Minimum diameter of 5 cm
• Minimum carry-away capacity of 60 liters per minute
2. In a drain pipe (When the stand pipe is < 90 cm. high)
The drain hose is connected to the building drain < 90cm high.
- Use the included plastic hose guide to keep the drain hose spout bent & at 90 cm high.
- Secure the hose on the unit at 90 cm high using a cable tie.
3. Over the edge of a wash basin
- The drain hose must be placed at a height of between 90-100 cm (*) from the floor.
- To keep the spout of the drain hose bent, use the supplied plastic hose guide.
- Secure the guide to the wall using a hook.
