It can be inconvenient to have to navigate all the way to the Settings menu to find the Accessibility settings. Fortunately, the Freestyle's remote provides a quick and easy way to access Accessibility shortcuts for any settings you may require.

Press and hold the Volume key on the Freestyle's remote. Accessibility functions can be enabled from here.

Voice Guide Settings: When the channel or volume is changed, the Freestyle will announce the channel and volume.

• Captions Settings: Allows you to watch broadcast channels and some apps with closed captions.

• Sign Language Zoom: Zooms in on the sign language displayed on the screen. You can choose Edit Sign Language. Zoom in or out to enlarge or move the screen.

• Learn Remote: Activates a verbal explanation for each button on the remote and its function when it is pressed.

• Learn Menu Screen: Activates a verbal explanation of the screen's menus and features.

• Picture Off: Turns off the screen, leaving only the sound. This is also useful when playing music.

• Multi-output Audio: Turns on the Freestyle's speakers and Bluetooth headphones, allowing you to hear audio from both devices at the same time. You can also increase the volume of the headphones.

• High Contrast: Menus are displayed with an opaque black background and a white font.

• Enlarge: Enlarges the size of the text on the screen for easier reading.

• Grayscale: Changes the colors of the screen to black and white, which can help with certain vision issues.

• Color Inversion: Inverts the colors of the text and background.

• Remote Button Repeat Settings: Changes the operation speed of the remote control buttons when you press and hold them.

1 Press and hold the Home button on the Freestyle's remote until the Quick settings menu appears. Choose All Settings.
2 Select General & Privacy, followed by Accessibility.
3 To enable captions, go to Caption Settings, then Caption. Select it once more to turn them off. This menu also includes two caption options:
  • Caption Mode: Allows you to change the language of the captions. However, because the available languages are determined by the broadcast station, it is best to leave this on Default in most cases.
  • Digital Caption Options: Change the appearance of the captions with digital caption options. Font style, size, color, background color, and other options are available.
  • Note: Captions will only appear in apps or broadcasts that support them. Some apps, like Netflix, have their own caption settings that must be enabled. Captions and subtitles on Blu-ray discs or DVDs are a feature of the disc and must be activated in the disc's menu before watching the movie.

Note:

* This feature is only available on specific models. Please refer to your user manual for more information
