I've had the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic for about 2 months now, and I'm seriously impressed. They've added the rotating bezel back, and it feels even more solid and satisfying to use than before. The biggest upgrade for me is the battery life. I'm comfortably getting through two full days of normal use, which is a good improvement over the Watch 7. The new biosensor that gives insights into blood sugar trends is also fascinating, even if it's just for wellness tracking. Overall, it's super snappy, the screen is gorgeous, and it just works seamlessly. If you're on Android and want the best all-round smartwatch, this is definitely it.

I would give 5 stars but.... Running 2+ seconds fast daily while even the cheapest watches keep 15 seconds monthly. I do think the problem is in phone synchronization because if disconnected watch runs perfectly. I tried galaxy watch ultra 2024, google watch 3 and now watch 8 classic. All were fast when synchronized with phone and all were accurate if running disconnected/standalone. The sync is perfect after reset but then they are accumulating error. Since 3 different watches had the same problem there is probably a bug in the FW. I tested with s24 ultra but even if I disable BT but keep WIFI, they are running fast. Only full standalone mode is accurate.

I have had a smart watch since 2018 and it was time to upgrade. When the Galaxy Classic was introduced, it was not like most others and presented like a traditional watch however it can be personalized. I took delivery approx. one month ago and i am " blown away" the apps and style are fabulous. I have received many comments on its appearance. I am still exploring the functionality and LTE connection and amazed how much can be fitted into such a small package. I would like the battery to last longer, however as i have been constantly experimenting with the watch as it is new it is using more power. i am expecting that it will be acceptable under normal use.

The watch has many useful features and the 'face' is changeable, which I like. It is good quality and well-made. I would recommend this watch and it would be easy to use for someone who isn't tech confident. I like the sleek design and the interchangeable straps, although the spare I was sent was the wrong one. I like the fact it can be kept on in the shower. The step counter is fantastic and gives a good insight into daily exercise. The size of the face might be a bit big if you have a small wrist, but otherwise it is a great design.

The screen looks nice and high quality, and little to no stuttering when navigating the watch interface. The stock straps themselves are pretty comfortable and look stylish. I've felt pretty comfortable with the durability, having had a galaxy watch before that never got scratched on the screen, which is super important to me. Battery life is good in my experience, at least 2 days of battery which I can't complain about. I'd say measurements are pretty accurate apart from maybe stress levels in my experience which I assume runs off heart rate.

I received it as a free option with my new Samsung S26. While the phone is amazing, unfortunately, while I had the watch connected it drained my phone and the battery life didn't last all day. I reviewd settings and it seemed google play services were taking a huge chunk of the battery on both devices. After adjusting setting and turning off google services it did little to diminish the battery settings. I'm at a loss and am at the stage where I feel either my device is faulty or there are system issues that need to be resolved by either Samsung or Google. Onlinr articles suggest this is an ongoing issue that has no resolution. As pretty as it is, I'm forced to return it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a Very premium watch, the silver stainless steel with black dial look amazing, complementing the display. The display is crisp with vibrant colours (haven't had to take the display to max brightness, but I feel it will cope with ease on bright sunny days). Paired seemlessly with both my Z fold 6 and S24 Ultra. The sensors and user interface are very well designed, the back of the watch sits nicely on the wrist (it is alot bigger than my Galaxy watch 6 Classic, but doesn't feel like it is on the wrist). The new luggage system is a little tricky at first, but once you get use to it, it feels more secure and is actually easier to use than the old one of the 6 classic

I have used it during a variety of activities including running, cycling and swimming and it performed faultlessly for each activity giving me useful and accurate information both in real time which was easily viewed on the clear and bright display even in bright sunshine . If you want to delve deeper into the stats , the Samsung Health app is much better than i remember from previous experiences , and importantly for a large percentage of runners you can also easily sync with Strava. And as a bonus it is comfortable to wear and it also looks good. Only gripe is, battery life could be better .

The strap has improved connection to watch, which makes it easy to connect and change the strap. The improved GPS is brilliant. I've used the watch to track walks and even when rowing when on holiday. The availability of improved health monitoring is definitely something I'm enjoying and looking to use over the coming months. The Classic was my choice due to the stylish design. It looks far from a smart watch and is an ideal size for me. Battery life is double my old Samsung watch and this will ensure there is greater flexibility between charges. I am really pleased and impressed with the watch and highly recommend it.

This device is packed full of features; the new One UI 5 is unreal, by far the most engaging and easy-to-use UI. From the notifications being a more bubbly, easy-to-read design to scrolling down on tiles. The running coach is amazing; after 12 minutes of assessing your activity, it recommends a running plan and is your very own running coach. I opted for the athleisure band in graphite. I believe this to be the best hybrid band from the layout, complementing both a formal and casual outfit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming up from Classic 4 , the Classic 8 is larger in diameter and feels like a quality watch with a beautiful screen and buttons. I used it like before for my running and gym sessions and was pleased with the the improved interaction of the side buttons and the accuracy of the data captured. The battery life is easily 2 days and furthermore with the battery saver mode which led me to use it as my primary watch. I like the way the straps connect to the body and am looking forward to swapping them easily to another type. Overall I have been pleased to make the switch to an updated Samsung smart watch and am looking forward to use the running coach feature and also using it when i restart swimming.

I have very thin wrists but this doesn't look overly big on it which is great. I love the bezel that you can use to move around screens. The apps in the screen look much more modern and the enhance health insights are great although I haven't yet managed to get data for sleep apnea despite wearing the watch as specified. There are more options for the side buttons including different uses depending on a long press if a double press. I would definitely recommend.

I've spent a fair bit of time fiddling with the various features and can say I'm very much satisfied with the wide range of features available. It is heavy but that is not a negative thing. Just need to gey use to the weight. Colores are standard to choose from so everyone will find one that they like. I like the rotating panel at the top of the watch that moves the screens, that is a very handy feature that previous version does not have. Watch is powered with UI 8 which has quite a few unique features plus it is loaded with AI features. Watch can be used as standalone thanks to the LTE option build in. Health and exercise features still top of the market with very accurate step count. Definitely one to have.

I bought a Samsung watch mainly for the heart rate monitoring, but honestly the accuracy is disappointing. One time my battery level was at 47%, and the watch showed my heart rate as 47 bpm at the exact same moment. That made me seriously question how reliable the sensor really is. The watch looks great and has useful features, but health tracking should be more accurate, especially for a premium smartwatch. Samsung needs to invest more in improving the accuracy and consistency of its heart rate monitoring. Right now, I wouldn’t fully trust it for health-related tracking.

The user interface is intuitive and easy to use and it has so many features. I particularly like the 'running coach'. The rotating bezel feels very nice to use and enables me to navigate the features more easily than using the screen, and even means less finger marks on the screen. The icing on the cake is the design - it is beautiful looking and can even be worn with smart clothes without looking out of place. Overall i would thoroughly recommend this watch - 5 stars!

I got this watch just 9 days ago and it's just fantastic. Never had a smart watch before and so it's all new to me and what this watch does just amazes me, at last my steps are recorded correctly as carrying my phone in my pocket never really did. don't even have to have my phone with me now and I get them all. The health recording features are just out of this world, and receiving messages instantly on my phone is fantastic too. With a nice big face that's easy to see and so easy set up a display just to suit what I'm doing at the time, never had it so easy.

I was all set to make the purchase of the Watch 8 Classic 46mm bluetooth. Then I decided to watch a YouTube video. I have the Watch 6 Classic 47mm. Well, the first feature he shows that no longer exists on the 8 Classic? YOU CANNOT CHARGE IT FROM YOUR Samsung PHONE ANYMORE. Wonder who decided to remove that feature at Samsung? The person should be removed from Samsung. Deal breaker. I'll keep my 6 Classic.

The weight isn't off-putting but you definitely know it's there. There's not much Samsung specific innovation on top of WearOS so software wise is consistent with other watches in this category. The screen is bright and crisp with no delays in responses. I am disappointed that the battery life still struggles to get past 2 days - the Galaxy watch 5 Pro has the same stamina and is 3 years older. Otherwise, a smart premium looking watch that stands out with a great choice of original and third party straps available

I should have kept the 5 pro, at least it's could get three or 4 days from one charge, this 8classic has to be charged every day. I had to disarm the bezel as any slight touch turned the screen on which uses more battery. I don't like the bunching of the categories of apps on the main screen, so you have to scroll to category screen scroll down to find which one you want then tap to open up, just seems to be an unnecessary faf on a watch. I thought it would be an upgrade from the 5 to the 8 but it isn't and definitely not worth the cost.

Despite that though it sits really comfortably on the wrist and is more comfy than other watches I've used. Screen is great quality and is easy to see even outside in direct sunlight. Connectivity is good and has a stable connection to phone or WiFi. Step tracking is good as well as the health monitoring features works really well. Sadly there are a few features you cant use if you don't have a Samsung phone which is really disappointing. This isn't clear in the marketing for ther watch. Sound volume of the watch is good, and overall performance is really snappy and quick. Overall a rest watch but just a little disappointing you miss out on features if you don't have a Samsung phone.

I upgraded from a much older Galaxy Watch motivated by the new health features of the Watch 8, I have not been disappointed. From sleep to diet to enhanced notification functionality, the new Galaxy Watch 8 Classic not only looks great, it works! Battery life means I rarely miss sleep or activity tracking and I'm a farmer, remote traveler, entrepreneur and corporate exec - it has survived it all. If it has any downside for me, it's only that its a little big to be elegantly lady-like. But its functionality and good looks win out.

Having said that I was pleasantly surprised how much it can do and how much I have used so far. I bought the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic about a month ago. I am coming from the Original Galaxy Watch Classic. The fit of the watch around the wrist is much more snug yet more comfortable. The new health metrics give much more insight into my personal health and what affects it. The watch runs very smoothly in all applications I have used it for. The only drawback so far is the battery life. My old watch would last up to close to a week on a charge. The new one lasts about a day and a half.

I also am very pleased with the rotating bezel, and how it interfaces with my Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus cellphone. I am looking forward to getting the new S26 Plus phone once it is released. I am also hoping for a Emerald Green Color choice for the new S26's. I have been hoping for that color choice for the last few years.

Got the 8 classic after doing a lot of research. Excellent choice! I appreciate the health features, the processor is fast and smooth, and the watch looks classy. I'm not worried about battery life, I throw it on the charger every night, I don't sleep with phones and watches. I use it for exercise every day, and it still has 50 to 60% battery every night. I keep the AOD off, but it's nicely customizable. Great watch! Look for sales, and buy the Canadian version if you're in Canada.

The Watch arrives in perfect packaging, with a helpful guide to walk you through every step of setting up and all the features available. Set up as a whole did not take long at all, as this was an upgrade from the previous Gen Samsung Smart watch. The strap is a great material, very comfortable on the wrist, and the return of the spinning bezel is greatly appreciated as it makes navigating through apps and notifications easier compared to the touch screen variants. As with all recent Generations, the watch face display is personalisable to fit your daily life. The brand new quick button on the side is an excellent new addition which can be setup depending on your daily needs, alongside some new health monitors available!

Sure, the "cushion" case is a little chunky, but it's got a confident, solid feel. ​Under the hood, it’s zippy, with a new processor that makes everything feel buttery smooth. It's also packed with all the quirky health stuff you didn't know you needed, like an Antioxidant Index. The real star, though, is the battery life. It finally lasts a solid two days, so you won’t have to baby it to get through a weekend. If you’re a fan of a watch with a little personality and don't mind a bit of a wrist-hug, the Classic is a winner.

I often climb mountains and ive seen some more fitness tracking features on this new watch. Im not a fan of the current silicon watch bands so i enjoy the new one has lots of new banda that can be chosen. The new face with the squarish backing seems like it will take a whike to get used to but it isnt ugly. Im just used to the circular type. It also has a good weight to it without being tooo heavy.

The display is crisp and bright, showing everything so clearly. really good features. It connects really selllnto WiFi, Samsung watch and also headphones. I love the sensors on it as it's so easy to type and you can hover. The interface is similar to all the other Samsung watches justvbegger with alot more quality. It has alot more things to do and it comes with alot of help eh Gemini which is absolutely second to none. This is the best samsung watch ive had so far .I love the bezel dial as it's so much easier to find what you need. Buy it , don't hesitate. I promise it's 100% worth it !

Great watch. Got it in July but dropped it from standing height and screen broke. Connectivity was always good. Very usable. Battery better than all other Galaxy watches Ive had so far. Quite expensive (when I initially purchased) although price drops have made it a lot better. Needless to say getting it repaired but the durability of the glass was disappointing.

Have been wearing this for 2 weeks. Very happy with the build quality of the watch and the band. Connects seemlessly with my phone. Sleep mode function is well thought out. HR and sleep monitoring is spot on. Battery lasts 1.5 day and charges in 30min. Bit disappointed that the lower button is programmed to Samsung wallet and cannot be changed to google wallet. Otherwise very happy with my purchase. Wish Samsung would make a version with analogue watch hands.

The battery on the watch 8 classic was somewhat better than the 7 with identical settings, giving me a day+ life with AOD and health monitoring all day. It's a bit more responsive and I do like the scroll wheel. In terms of design and comfort, I didn't notice any major difference. All in all, it is a nice watch, and with the next series coming up the price has gone down to make it an easier decision.

I’m not an afficianado on the world of tech but I am pleased with my choice of phone on this occasion and it was surprisingly straightforward when transferring everything from my previous phone, (also a Samsung). I love the lightness , really comfy on my wrist . Really wish the battery and screen was bigger . I didn't get the lte version ( which i normally would ) as I new the battery would suffer . Hopefully Samsung will listen to everyone and give us what we want/need so we dont have to compromise. I dont see why I have to put up with only using half the features on the watch so that it lasts a full day , Samsung battery stats are a complete lie in real world use .

Samsung Galaxy watch 8 classic is nothing less but perfect and I've watched which brought back many classical legacies after two years and can be regarded as the Watch of the year easily not just because of its advanced hardware features and sensors or upgraded storage and battery or better connectivity as well as the display but also the system and the software and the overall it was experience as well as the assistance by Gemini and a new action button Plus the band with super comfortable contact but a classic outer look which just suits perfectly with the Watch and fully defines the snug Fit. The overall watch Factor and design has really pleased me and considering it is an upgrade from my older Galaxy watch 7, this new interface just feels right and I have actually started connecting with the Watch overall and can't be any happier.

I have the watch 6 and I am impressed by how much better and bigger it looks after 2 years I am not a fan of the square design surrounding the circular display but it does look best on the the base model, just not good.I don't like the new ui, it has some nice features like keeping all the health related ones in one widget but the app screen loses all of its style

I get a full day without much issue but the need to charge on daily basis. It's a shame the watch cannot charge a little faster. The watch looks great, more like an actual watch than a smart watch, which is a huge win. I was not sure how I would find the dial but I love this feature, being able to scroll through tiles without fiddly screen scrolling is fantastic. Health tracking is great, with a few more added features than my previous watch, this will more of a long term test. Overall the watch feels snappy and great to use. The AI features are a nice edition and handy to have on my wrist rather than reaching in my pocket for a phone.

I purchased this the Watch 8 Classic when it was released, very happy with the decision. The watch looks even better in person (also looks amazing in pictures but they do not do it justice). The features are amazing and watch applications are super responsive. Love all the new features and the options for additional band to further personalize the watch. This is my first Watch ever so I reviewed before I bought and the upgrades from the watch 7 to the new watch 8 was substantial. It fits my wrist and lays as flat as any other watch on the market today. I love the dial and the ease of use. I was about 1 hour and had this figured out. I love the style and design. It looks dressy and tough enough to wear to work. I work in construction so it takes some beatings but so far so good.

Super fast delivery, connects perfectly and stays connected, sensors are good, seem accurate at the moment, display is sharp, setting it up from scratch was quite quick, had the watch 6 classic before and was toying between the 8 classic or 8 ultra, decided on the classic model again, new features and new watch faces, plenty to choose from, tiles are different from the 6 classic version, seem to be more bold and stand out more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this watch for a week or so and it took me a little while to get my head around some of the new features, and some of the new ways old features work too. For example, I couldn't understand why my watch wasn't vibrating to tell me I had a new notification. Turns out that that setting was switched off by default and I had to find it in settings to turn it on. The watch has a sleeker design than the previous classics, the bezel is flatter than the old ones making it easier to use your fingers to swipe between tiles and notifications on the watch. The screen is also clearer too, if you turn the brightness level up you can see it even in strong daylight. The battery lasts a few days with regular use meaning you only need to charge it every so often. The charge is fast too. Overall, I was pleased with this new version and would recommend it to others.

The rotating bezel feels great, it almost locks into position as you turn it, a nice upgrade from the older 46mm. The strap is also good quality life, im unsure of what it is made from but, the strap i opted for, was the hybrid camel colour and looks very similar to a leather strap, which I think really compliments the watch. I am yet to fully dive into the features of the watch, but I do like the step counter and monitors. My gripe is with the sound (and the reason for the 1 less star). The ringer is quite loud, but the volume for the notifications (even when turned right up) seems very low, so easy to miss notifications in noisy environments. That being said, and as the title of my review, great watch! I would definitely recommend to anyone (especially those that use samsung phones)

I love the sleep score function which shows me the different phases of my sleep. The energy score is a push to achieve goals. I love the ability to personalise the watch face, how easy the turning bezel makes it to access features. The torch on the middle button is very useful as is the one push return to the home screen. I don't use the running function as I have never been a runner but, all in all, a great watch.

My first ever Samsung watch! All feautures are amazing! Specially the sleep tracking and ECG. It recognized that I have a moderate to severe sleep apnea which is concerning for me. So I went to my family doctor right away. Gave me some prescription, and now I sleep much better now! Moreover, I'm still discovering its other features so I'll make an update review after a few months of using it. Must buy for sure!

I'm loving my new Watch 8, although sad to lose my Gear 3 which has provided great service for many years. The battery finally gave up on my Gear 3 and would only last 5 or 6 hours in the end, so it feels wonderful having nearly 2 days worth of charge available on my new device. The display and sensors have inevitably improved greatly over the years, so it is good to be once again at the forefront of technology.

The rotating bezel feels great, it almost locks into position as you turn it, a nice upgrade from the older 46mm. The strap is also good quality life, im unsure of what it is made from but, the strap i opted for, was the hybrid camel colour and looks very similar to a leather strap, which I think really compliments the watch. I am yet to fully dive into the features of the watch, but I do like the step counter and monitors. My gripe is with the sound (and the reason for the 1 less star). The ringer is quite loud, but the volume for the notifications (even when turned right up) seems very low, so easy to miss notifications in noisy environments. That being said, and as the title of my review, great watch! I would definitely recommend to anyone (especially those that use samsung phones)

Display is top notch. Alway love the amoled. Battery sees me through a day. I rarely need it for more than that. Connectivity is almost always great. Twice on a very warm summer day I ran into overheating during a call. Took 5 minutes or so to cool down enough to recall. Sensors, all very reliable Interface - no issues what so ever. All in all very happy I picked up my Watch Classuc(bte/LTE) for me and my wife

Very happy with the overall performance of the watch. No complaints about battery life or anything else . I am pleased with my purchase. One issue that has arisen is the Blood Pressure function. Despite 2 calibrations, the readings, especially Systolic which all are in the 130’s despite much lower readings on a conventional gauge, are not reliable. I will recalibrate again to see if there is any improvement.

I bought this just before Christmas and the watch itself is pretty good. However, I don't like you can't use standard watch straps with it any more, now that they've changed how watch straps attach to the watch in a non-standard way. The watch strap it came with started peeling after a week and now looks quite scruffy, which I am not happy about, especially as I am limited on straps I can replace it with.

Everything about this watch is great. From the way its made to look feel and work like a real watch to its gorgeous design which is what drew me to it originally. All the features in this watch i love i genuinely cant fault it atall without a doubt the best smart watch I have ever seen or owned. But I do have one issue slight but still there. The moon.phases on the watch face which was another selling point for me I recently noticed is completely wrong the moon phases on the watch are the exact opposite of the phase the moon is actually in and there seems to be no way to fix it based on the advice I have looked up. This is my only fault and it it could be fixed that would be great and the watch would be truly perfect for me. Again not a criticism of the watch itself which I am happy with just one presumed glitch I would love to see corrected. Thank you for reading and making such a good product

So, I'm upgrading from the watch4 classic. I will say. Huge improvements. The OS works seamlessly, whereas with the waych4 classic it was bugging and moving slow. The battery charge time is remarkable now. Honestly. Nothing but improvements. I didn't have the last watch so I'm not sure that coming from the watch 7 may be a big deal, however if your beyond that... its time for an update!!

I recently purchased a Galaxy watch 8 Classic 46mm advertising it as 46mm seems dishonest because the screen is basically 44mm. I purchased it believing it would have a large screen like my 6 Classic witch is easier than type on. I'm disappointed that the true display screen is not as advertised. It's basically a watch 8 44 plus a rotating bevel. Miss the sleek design on the classic 6.

I have been using the classic watch 8 for about 2 weeks now, and am loving the tactile controls, robust battery and factory-loaded wellness tools. the watch feels more like a traditional, sophisticated timepiece that can be worn for any occasion and less like a stripped-down active tracker. I thought I had a top of the range Garmin, but thos blows it out of the water! So many smart features to list off, faultless and a smooth transition from the Garmin ecosystem to Samsung. I have not worn my Galaxy watch 7 since it arrived! It’s got that proper watch feel thanks to the rotating bezel (which I’m so glad they brought back) but still does all the smart stuff effortlessly. The screen is super bright and clear, and the build feels solid — not just a fitness tracker in disguise. Health tracking is seriously detailed — heart stuff, sleep, even skin temperature and some new antioxidant thing I didn’t know I needed. It also runs really smoothly, and the new Galaxy AI features are actually helpful, not just gimmicks. Battery life is decent but could be better compared to some smart watches, and there’s loads of storage for apps and music. If you’re into smartwatches but want something that looks a bit more classic and less techy, this one’s worth checking out.
