FASTER, SAFER, PRECISE COOKING
The Samsung new Induction range provides a faster, safer and more Precise way to cook compared to gas and electric cooktops. The induction system directly transfers energy to the cookware, which means it’s faster and more accurate than any other method of cooking. So you can instantly adjust the heat to a low simmer for delicate foods or rapidly bring water to the boil and the cooking surface stays cool to touch except the area where the cookware is on.

CONVENIENT, PRECISE CONTROLS

CONVENIENT, PRECISE CONTROLS
Instead of using a digital control panel, the Samsung new Induction range unites modern technology with analog control. Its large metal knobs look like the analog ones used on traditional Gas Ranges. So they offer a familiar user experience and are very intuitive and easy to use, but electronically adjust the level of induction heat to ensure precise control.

STAY CLEAN EVERYDAY

STAY CLEAN EVERYDAY

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Stove Loved this stove, looks great, cooking is awesome, so quick and very precise heat settings. Cleanup is easy, just a quick wipe even when it's on, spills do not get baked onto the surface. The dual flex oven is great and convienance. Use the upper or lower stove to bake cookies or pizza etc. It reaches temperature quick because only use half the stove. The only complaint we have is the ajustable, levelling feet are too short for standard counter tops height (93-94cm) and therefore the bottom sides of the cooktop can't clear the counter. We had to put it on two 1x4 piece of wood on either sides. It would be nice if Samsung has longer front and back feet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Cook's Range and Much More! I bought this range/stove more than 3 years ago and the love affair continues! If you like to cook, entertain, have a busy household with many cooking, baking or heating requirements then this stove is for you. My first induction range I bought for the quick heating and cooling capabilities of induction because we had an older home with temperature extremes, meaning I wanted a stove that cooled down quickly in hot humid Toronto summers and would heat up quickly in the chilly kitchen winter months. Energy efficiency was also top of mind. Induction excells in all of these areas. ***This is the easiest to clean cooking surface you will ever experience. And it does not discolour like other non-induction ceramic cooktops. The burners heat up quicker than a gas range and quicker than an electric kettle to boil water. You will never burn another wooden spoon or cutting board again, and if your cooking boils over the pot loses contact with the surface and automatically shuts off. If nothing is touching the burner it turns off. To me this is peace of mind for my own cooking, for that of my tenant who may wander away with a burner on and if you have children reaching for burners -- they cool down very quickly. When I moved and had to buy another stove I chose slide-in for the aesthetics of an open concept space and beautiful backsplash. The performance of this range/stove with the split cavity is outstanding. The warming drawer is smaller with this model but it still does the job and yes, I do it use it and frequently. Even as a solo cook and homeowner these days I use nearly all of the features. For everyone cooking in a small space or open concept home, the quick heating and cooling of the induction burners, and true convection oven make this range an ideal choice. DO NOT be afraid of uniformed sales people saying "you need special pots". Ridiculous! If you have good or semi-reasonable pots and pans, not ceramic or aluminium, you can use a magnet to test because induction uses magnetism and direct contact. Nearly every one of my pots and pans work on this stove. Also, often retailers have incentives with top quality giveaways of cookware including Kitchenaid and Paderno. OR, simply go to Ikea, where nearly all of their cookware is induction and inexpensive. Sincerely, I bought a set of pots for $30 for my tenant for the induction hotplate. Subsequently I have purchased a couple of frying pans and pots for myself in addition to the Paderno and Fresco pieces I already had. Induction cooking is 'normal' in Europe where the cost of electricity is much higher than in North America. It has been the norm for many, many years and it's worth the extra $$ in the long run, for the cost of electricity, air conditioning and especially the frustration of cleaning and maintaining the most used appliance in most homes. I will always own an induction range/stove. Remember to buy a quality brand as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very, very satisfied. rating: 9/10 First thing we had to do was change out our 20 years old Paderno cookware, which we sold on Kijiji. Overall, we are very, very satisfied with this range. The features we like the most, and that we appreciate every day are: 1) the speed with which the burners heat up for whatever you,re cooking. After 15 months of use, we,re still amazed at how quickly it will boil water. 2) the ease of keeping the ceramic top clean; just wipe it down with a wet dish cloth. If a pot boils over, you remove the pot and wipe it clean. Because it is induction, there is only heat between the pot and pot surface of the burner, and there is no heat generated once the pot is removed, so spills don,t burn on the stove top. You can literally put your finger on the burner seconds after it's turned off. We,ve used ceramic top cleaning cream twice in 15 months, and we cook a lot as we entertain frequently. This feature alone is worth the added price of induction. 3) the speed at which the oven heats up. The majority of the time, we use the upper oven cavity, and because it is small, it heats very quickly. There are a few drawbacks with this range, which aren,t show stoppers for us: 1) the glider oven rack, which is so nice to use because it glides so well, cannot be placed in the top or bottom oven position. 2) the built-in oven thermometer, which is so nice when cooking roasts, cannot be used when the oven divider is in place. This is inconvenient when entertaining with a roast in the bottom oven and casseroles in the upper oven. 3) we find the warming drawer feature doesn,t keep warm as much as we thought it would, even on the highest setting. It might benefit from an insulated drawer bottom. One last item, which we were aware of prior to purchasing, there is a limit on the temperature differential between the two ovens temperature settings. For instance, you can,t broil in the top oven and cook at 350˚F in the bottom oven. Fortunately all the drawbacks we see are not shortcomings that affect day to day use. But in looking for the perfect range, these are things we would change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this range The induction cooktop is great. Very fast yet the cooktop stays much cooler than a radiant or halogen element. The cooler element temperature does not cause spilled liquids to stain the cooktop. It still looks new after months of use. Very precise heating or simmering control. The oven size is very generous. Each of the two ovens offers great temperature control. The partition is easily installed or removed or stored and clean up is easy. The oven controls are very user friendly. The warning drawer is very handy and keeps plates and cooked food hot even on the lowest of three heat options. The construction and finish is excellent. I would highly recommend this range to any home cook who is into high tech cooking appliances.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love the cook top, so easy to clean, heats fast The only complaint I have is that the oven light won't stay on. When baking cookies etc. the light shuts off every time you open the door. very annoying !

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great innovations, doesn’t work as expected We bought this range almost 2 years ago. I love the induction cook top and it works well. Aesthetically, it’s a good looking range. The issue is the oven does NOT maintain consistent temps in either Duo mode or full oven mode. We are now in the habit of walking past and basically re-preheating every ten minutes or so, by touching the oven mode setting and then Start again. Often it will be 50 to 100 degrees below set temp. We’ve had a repair guy out to check it out twice and he didn’t replicate the issue and told me that there is a range of temps during cook time that are acceptable. Yet the next time I used it, I had half baked cookies or pizza that should have been fully cooked and the cheese wasn’t even melted yet. Resetting the temperature helps get a more consistent bake, but shouldn’t be necessary.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cooktop The virtual flame is nice and the stove top is very easy to keep clean. Unfortunately, the glass cook top is very fragile and breaks easily. It is also very costly to replace.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from love/hate this stove did a complete reno on our condo, bought high end appliances, including this stove. It was great til we tried using the oven. Initially thought it was me not used to convection after 30 years of gas stoves. But we tried baking so tried and true recipies and then we discovered that this are not well in convection stove land. Bought an oven thermometer today, roasted some squash, had to take the temp up to 450F to get 400F then the temp fluctuated 50F and more. Not a happy time. Hope that Samsung will fix this, we have only had the stove in use since Aug 26 2018. So much for high end appliances....
