Learn what’s included with your Appliance Delivery.

What to expect at the time of your delivery

• Measure all spaces, including hallways, stairs, doors and delivery pathways, to ensure there is at least a three (3) inch clearance on either side of the product. Remove doors, gates or railings, if necessary.
• Reserve the service elevator through your building manager if necessary
• Disconnect and empty old appliances prior to delivery (if haul away service* is purchased)
• Ensure someone of the age of majority in your province or territory is home to receive your delivery, a third party or contractor cannot receive delivery on customer’s behalf
• Secure children and pets on the delivery day to avoid injuries
• Clear rugs, pictures, furniture and other fragile items from the delivery path
• Clear the driveway and entrance to your home
• Remove doors, gates or railings if necessary
• Please contact our home delivery team at hd.seca@samsung.com if the delivery path has more than two flights of stairs or if the delivery address is in a new development area

Haul Away Service
• Appliance must be unplugged, unmounted, and empty
• Sub-Zero or built-in refrigerators cannot be removed due to weight/size
• Appliance must fit through all doorways as-is with no disassembly or door removal

Haul Away Service
• One disconnected and fully uninstalled appliance will be removed
• Sub-Zero or built-in refrigerators cannot be removed due to size and/or weight
• Appliance must fit through all doorways as-is with no disassembly or door removal
• Note: once the haul-away service is completed, the appliance cannot be returned

Includes:
• Delivery to room of choice
Unpacking (unless otherwise requested)
Levelling the product as needed
Connecting to power (no hardwiring)
• Removal of your item’s packaging from premises
• Haul away of old appliance (must show on the order as a service for the recyclingthis to take place)

Excludes:
• Any installation or fitting of your appliance
• Hardwiring or electrical work
• Plumbing or gas line services
• Disconnection of old units
• Moving existing appliances within your home
• Use of ladders, hoisting, or door/window removal
• Any installation requiring drilling, carpentry, or structural modifications
• Anti-tip bracket installation
• Installation if required parts (hoses, kits, etc.) are missing

Washers

If your appliances are able to stack and you purchase both washer and dryer, stacking installation is included only when purchasing as an additional service at checkout.


Includes:


• Remove and leave shipping bolts with customer
• Connect to existing water taps (only with new hoses in sealed packaging)
• Connect drain hose
• Ground appliance to metal pipe or grounded outlet
• Leave product literature and manuals
• Place in drip pan if required
• If existing appliance remains (no haul away purchased separately) product will be placed in room of choice only


Excludes:


• Connecting to drip pans or ungrounded outlets
• Reversing washer doors
• Disconnecting or unplugging existing machines
• Relocating existing unit

Electric Dryers

If your appliances are able to stack and you purchase both washer and dryer, stacking installation is included only when purchasing as an additional service at checkout.


Includes:


• Connect to 220V outlet with appropriate cord/plug
• Attach dryer legs and level the appliance
• Connect metal vent (back or side venting only if side connection exists and reachable + special side kit to be purchased separately, if required)
• Connect steam hoses and Y-connector if included or provided new
• If existing appliance remains (no haul away purchased separately) product will be placed in room of choice only


Excludes:


• Connecting to ceiling venting or where external venting is not available
• Using existing, non-metal or damaged venting
• Connecting steam dryers where hoses are not disconnected ahead of time
• Reversing dryer door
• Cutting or altering manufacturer attachments
• Relocating existing unit

Gas Dryers

If your appliances are able to stack and you purchase both washer and dryer, stacking installation is included only when purchasing as an additional service at checkout.


Includes:


• Deliver and place in front of final location
• Unpack and remove packaging
• If existing appliance remains (no haul away purchased separately) product will be placed in room of choice only


Excludes:


• Connecting to gas line
• Relocating existing unit

All-In-One Laundry Units (Front-Loaders / Stack Units)

Includes:

• Connect to 220V outlet with appropriate cord/plug
• Connect dryer discharge using new metal vent kits when purchased separately
• Connect to existing water taps (only with new hoses in sealed packaging)
• If existing appliance remains (no haul away purchased separately) product will be placed in room of choice only


Excludes:


• Connecting if venting does not exit home or can’t be connected properly
• Connecting to ceiling venting
• Relocating existing unit

Pedestals

Includes:


• Install pedestal if delivered at same time as compatible laundry appliance

Excludes:


• Unstacking existing units
• Installing on incompatible or old appliances
• Returning to install if pedestal is missing
• Installing new machines on old pedestals or vice versa
• Relocating existing unit


Stacking Kits

Includes:


• Installation of stacking kit if new and delivered with laundry pair and have paid for stacking service at order checkout

Excludes:


• Installing incompatible or reused kits
• Returning to install later
• Unstacking existing units
• Drilling into appliance or home structure
• Stacking without proper kit
• Mixing old and new appliances

Refrigerators

Includes:

• Remove and reattach handles/doors to complete delivery
• Align and level doors
• Leave product literature and provide user manuals


Excludes:


• Connecting water line or shutting off the main water supply
• Installing anti-tip devices
• Hauling away units larger than the new fridge
• Removing doors for haul-away
• Relocating existing fridge inside the home

Dishwasher

Includes:


• Delivery to room of choice


Excludes:


• Connecting dishwasher
• Removing existing installed dishwasher
• Altering manufacturer parts
• Relocating existing unit


Built-In Ovens, Cooktops, Range Hoods

Includes:


• Delivery to room of choice


Excludes:


• Unpacking
• Haul away
• Relocating existing unit

Gas Ranges

Includes:


• Delivery to room of choice
• Removal of your item’s packaging from premises


Excludes:


• Connecting to gas line or installing slide-in ranges
• Disconnecting old gas appliance
• Installing anti-tip devices
• Relocating old appliance within the home

Electric Ranges

Includes:


• Plug into 220V outlet using manufacturer’s plug
• Level the appliance
• Removal of your item’s packaging from premises

Excludes:


• Installing or modifying electrical supply
• Installing direct-wired appliances
• Cutting or altering manufacturer attachments
• Installing anti-tip devices
• Glass top due to requires to be a “room temperature”
