I preordered the s26 and i am glad i waited before buying the s25 fe. i never really know we could control and help improve battery life until the s26 tip mentioned about it. there are several ai features that i find interesting but never had the chance to use them myself although i have set it up like call assist or AI answering your calls before you answer them. the camera is an upgrade from an s20 that i use. i love the night shots. if we hve some bit of light a night shot picture is amazing. i also like the eraser functionality, it is pretty clean so far when it comes to erasing things you dont want in an image including sound eraser. The creative studio where you can draw stuff and ai can convert it into an image you want is amazing too. the phone doesnt lag, doesnt get hot atleast for me. Fell once already but its fine so far. The display is pretty good too. doesnt hurt my eyes. Some settings are well hidden i would say and it will take a while to even unravel all of them and remb where they sit ofcz. sadly rcs is stuck at verification for me. live search works nice. i used it in a mall just recently. i got the cobalt shade and its nice.

I was not happy at all with the Google pixel. I prefer the smaller size of this phone. Ample space as i got the 512GB phone. Camera is decent. Overall performance is satisfactory. But when I saw that , I was able to turn my old phone in and get this s26 which has freakish amount of Options that I never knew would be on a phone, there was no debate. I chose That s26 hardcore. And in the weeks following , I found out that it had even more options that benefited me. I knew that I had chose right , it integrates with my tablet with my smartwatch with my computer with my lighting system. Everything is absolutely seamless.

I recently started using the Samsung S26 and noticed several early-stage software issues that I would like to report for review. This is not a complaint, but rather feedback aimed at improving the user experience, as I believe these problems can be resolved through future updates. 1. Permission request windows In some applications, the system displays old-style Android permission pop-ups (similar to Android 11–12). These pop-ups do not offer the full set of permission options, and in many cases I must go into the system settings and manually grant access to the microphone or other hardware components. 2. Camera performance When using the 12 MP mode in the Camera app, I sometimes experience noticeable lag or stuttering in the live preview. This happens even in normal lighting conditions. Since the device is new and the software is still being polished, I assume these issues can be resolved with upcoming One UI and firmware updates. I just wanted to bring this to your attention so the development team can investigate and optimize these areas. Thank you for your time and for continuously improving the Samsung experience.

I chose the S26 because my last phone was so great. I had the S10 plus and never had any problems. The battery kept a charge even after all these years. When tapping the screen, the device doesn't pick up the taps and touch booster in gaming mode doesn't improve it. I even tried lowering the FPS and GPU but it doesn't resolve the responsiveness with tapping on the screen. I also turn on touch sensitivity in settings and it doesn't show any improvements. My device is new and unlocked but sometimes I drop mobile network signal (T-Mobile) and it shows "emergency only". When running device diagnostics, it shows it is normal and functioning. I chose the S26 because of a promo deal and thoughts that the flagship model will be a great upgrade from my A54.

However in my rush a lack of research was my down fall because the base s26 isn't s pen compatible and thats really my only complaint with the phone. The S26 is sleek, light, and very responsive - everything I open snaps right up with no lag or stutter, and swiping through the interface feels effortless compared to what I was used to. The design is the first thing you notice. It stays pocketable and comfortable in the hand, but the screen is a bit roomier at 6.3 inches, so I'm not squinting at anything. Video and photos look great on it. A couple of practical upgrades I appreciate: storage starts at 256GB now, so I'm not managing space the way I had to on my old phone, and the battery is bigger this year too - it comfortably gets me through a full day. Those were big reasons I choose to go with the S26 over waiting another year. After a three-generation jump, the difference is night and day. It's amazing so far, and if you're sitting on an older Galaxy wondering whether it's time, I choose this one and haven't looked back.

Durability is yet to be determined and the camera crispness and edit settings are excellent. One thing I'm not liking is the charging port, it seems restrictive and ive seen a '25 version lose the port to this issue.

My first cell phone was the Galaxy S7 which has suited my needs for the last ten years. My latest purchase of the Galaxy S26 is a welcome addition. Much has changed since the S7 and is very much appreciated. I always liked the size of the device as opposed to other smart phones which are too bulky. It didn't take me long to navigate the new phone which so far I find relatively user friendly. I have always found Samsung products to be durable. For example, I still have a Samsung microwave oven that I purchased in 1995 still operating at optimum levels in 2026. Keep up the good work!

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and I wish I could get a refund. Basic problems on first use, Battery icon is too small and I have to go into settings to actually see it. I have to go through 3 steps just to get into the phone. Tap, slide and pin. Can't find anyway to change this. Time on basic platform, once you get into the phone is as small as battery sign is. When ready to hang up the phone and press the hang up button it often recalls the person I was talking to, whether the call comes in or goes out. Last night I tried desperately to turn the flash light on but no but no matter which way I tried I could not find the icon for it.

It's still small and fits in the palm of my hand but is mighty with it's functionalities, display clarity, camera features, apps and much more. Particularly like the AI tools in gallery when editing photos. Triple camera is a bonus. The processing speed is swift and Samsung security is exceptional as always. My husband bought the S26 ultra which has a bigger screen but all the same advantages as a standard handset. The battery life is good and a full charge lasts well. Durability is reliable which is reassuring on busy schedules. An outstanding powerful handset which I would definitely recommend.

Ich hab mir das neue S26 gekauft, weil mein altes Handy eine defekte Pixelspalte im Display hatte. Da ich nun wieder ein Samsung Galaxy wollte, ist es das S26 geworden. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Handy. Das Display ist größer, als bei meinem S22 und der Akku hält auch länger. Der Prozessor ist schneller geworden und auch die Kamera hat sich verbessert und 12 GB Arbeitsspeicher. Ich kann das S26 nur empfehlen!!! 👍

Now Nudge allows me to respond quicker than I could, and AI selector lets me copy text from content that originally couldnt be copied, easily and rapidly. However, when I see the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, I notice how advanced its display is, since it has a new screen feature called Privacy Display. And when I look back at my Samsung Galaxy S26, I wonder why it doesn't have the Privacy Display feature, which could have been great. Overall, it’s a good phone, that I would've liked it to have the new Privacy Display feature.
I bought the new S26 on launch day in Canada. The store is purchased from did not have a S25 Ultra left so order the S26. With Smart Switch all my apps moved to the new device fine and response time is fabulous.
