When you apply a screen protector or use your mobile device with gloves, the touchscreen may not respond as smoothly. Fortunately, your Samsung Galaxy includes a setting that increases touch sensitivity for a more responsive experience.

Note: Available options and screen layouts may vary depending on your Android version and carrier in Canada.

A single setting lets you turn on enhanced touch sensitivity.

Notes:

  • The Touch sensitivity feature may not be available on all Samsung Galaxy models.
  • If a screen protector or other accessory is loosely applied (due to dust, air bubbles, stacked films or peeling edges) it can reduce touchscreen responsiveness. Remove, realign or replace the protector if it’s misaligned or damaged.
  • Wearing gloves can affect how well the touchscreen responds.
  • A wet screen may not respond properly, even on water-resistant models. Gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth, without applying pressure.
