You can enable this option in Device care to make your phone more energy efficient, and combine it with tools like Optimize now to keep your device running at its best.

Light mode helps your Samsung Galaxy phone use less power during everyday tasks. When this feature is enabled, your phone slightly reduces its maximum processing speed to limit heat generation and improve battery efficiency. This can help your device stay cooler and last longer between charges while still providing smooth performance for activities like browsing, messaging and watching videos.

Step 4. Tap Light to activate it.
