How to take a screenshot on your Galaxy Watch
You can take screenshots on your Galaxy Watch to capture important information or share what’s on your screen. Once captured, screenshots can be viewed directly on the watch or accessed from your connected phone if you are using the Galaxy Wearable app.
Note: Information provided applies to devices sold in Canada. Available screens and settings may vary depending on the Galaxy Watch model and country.
To take a screenshot, press and hold the Home button and the Back button at the same time for about one second, then release them. If the screenshot is captured successfully, a preview briefly appears on the screen before disappearing.
Note:
- The Home button may also be labelled as the Power button.
- The screenshot method may vary depending on your Galaxy Watch model. Check the user manual for specific instructions.
- After taking a screenshot, you can view it in the Gallery app on your Galaxy Watch or on your connected phone using the Galaxy Wearable app (see the next section).
After taking a screenshot, you can view it at any time in the Gallery app on your Galaxy Watch. When your watch is paired with a phone using the Galaxy Wearable app, screenshots are also automatically saved to the Gallery on your connected phone.
Manage screenshots on your Galaxy Watch
Step 1. Navigate to and open the Gallery app on your Galaxy Watch.
Step 2. Press and hold the screenshot you want to manage.
Step 3. Tap the Delete or Copy to phone icon, depending on your needs.

Step 1. Navigate to and open the Gallery app on your connected phone.
Step 2. Tap the Watch folder.
Step 3. Screenshots taken on your Galaxy Watch are saved in this folder.
