It heats food well but you can't see the food when the door is shut despite the light being on in microwave. i would not recommend this product because of the light issue and wouldn't have bought it if I had known. I'm hoping it will last well due to having a ceramic enamel inside which was a key selling point for me.

The buttons are easy to use and the plate inside is of a decent size. It would take a regular dinner plate with no problem and it also helps that you don't burn your fingers when you take the plate out. I do like the idea that it is about 40% electric saving when it is on stand-by, and in this day and age everything and anything that helps with the cost of living is brilliant in my eyes. This microwave/oven is ideal for those starting off as well as the elderly who are looking to downsize in their kitchen.

Decent roomy size inside, but not too chunky on the outside making it fit on my unit perfectly. Ceramic inside makes cleaning with ease. The deodorising is one of my favourite features, especially after cooking fish with strong odours. It literally vanishes any odours after using this feature. And it also has many other preset cooking features that are brilliant to use, one press and the microwave does the rest ! My only regret, is that I didn't buy this sooner !

Stopped working after 3yrs 1 month. This was bought from a retail shop and it looked great with good size and simply button use. We thought we would have this for at least 7 years plus (average) but this stopped working and is unsalvageable. I checked the average lifespan for a microwave with adequate use and disappointed to see this hadn’t worked as expected. Sadly it was over the manufacturers warranty. I think this will put us of relying on Samsung as brand and will look for an alternative. It’s a shame as it did look and work the part.

I do like the look of this microwave, it fits in with my kitchen and look wise a nice design. I however don't like the feel of the door, it feels very light and doesn't feel sturdy enough. I also don't like having to get the manual online, I want something that I can refer to when I want, hence I had to print off the manual which isn't very convenient. I used the melt feature for the first time today, to melt chocolate and butter, that was good. I don't leave my microwave plugged in all the time so it is a pain when I put my porridge onto the favourites setting, it seems to cancel it when the plug is pulled out. I didn't have much time to shop around for a new microwave, if I had I probably would have chosen a different one. It suits it's purpose for the little I use it but I am not over joyed with my purchase.

There’s a new wizard in my kitchen- and it’s not me... This thing is brilliant. I think we’re now friends. I won’t pretend to understand everything it can do but the oven is jealous. I spent hours trying to figure out all the codes for grilling, frying, oven’ing (haven’t explored yogurt mode yet) and then realised there’s a handy strip on the internal door breaking them down. I hate the manual. Make your life easier... just buy one.

For the most part I worked out all the controls straight away, but the time and the bleep took some finding. The quick start notes should have this information clearly printed, I believe. The other long drawn out procedure was the registration to get the warranty! It took ages to set up. Apart from these little problems, the microwave is great and the ceramic inside surfaces are so easy to clean. I hope it continues to work for a long time.

Les fonctionalités sont bonnes (décongélation etc...). On ne voit pas à travers la porte mais on peut s'en passer facilement. Le gros point noir de ce micro-onde est la porte noire face avant couverture plastique, elle se raille des qu'on l'a nettoie avec un chiffon doux ! résultat quelques semaines d'utilisation, la porte est toute rayée, c'est affreux et bien dommage, ca manque vraiment de qualité à ce niveau là.

We chose this microwave as we have other Samsung products so wanted it to fit in with what we have, it is brilliant for heating things up etc but the biggest problem is that you cant see the food inside!!! We brought this during a house renovation so unfortunately we were unable to return it as had I known that the visibility was so poor I would not have purchased in the first place.

Prospective purchasers should be aware that there is no window to allow one to see into the oven whilst cooking. This makes heating milk, for example, a hazardous process. A timer that works in increments of 30 seconds doesn't help in this respect. I'd recommend it with that caveat, as apart from that it's fine. Big blot on its copybook though.

Had the microwave for 4 months, and the power supply unit die. Thinking I can get a replacement unit, instead Samsung want to sent the unit to repair. It does the job but seems way underpowered compared to our last one, which was 900w but the difference is more than 10%. Also, you can only set it to increments of 30 seconds. The turntable doesn't sit properly... only two out of three wheels touch at any one time. Nothing wrong with it and I guess you get what you pay for.. and it is cheap!

Komplettausfall nach einer Woche und zweimaliger Benutzung. Gerät ist im Standby komplett ausgefallen, wenn der Stromstecker gezogen und wieder eingesteckt wird flackert kurz die Uhr und es gibt kurz knisternden Geräusche, das war es dann. Gemäss Lieferant kann nun die Reparatur bis zu 4 Wochen dauern.

I've had this model for 2yrs now and it's the best one I've ever had. Very easy to clean and doesn't develop rust inside being enamel which is why I went for this one. I love the soften/melt function when I'm baking and the deodorising after I cook fish. Very simple instructions. Highly recommend.

Just bought this to replace a very reliable 16 year old 800w machine and to be honest im very disappointed. yes you can quick jump 30sec increments at full power which is fine for heating quickly etc, but the jog wheel only does 5secs, why not be able to do 1second intervals when you have a dial that should be possible and surprisingly useful when heating small quantities of things. but the absolute worst thing about it is the door/screen has a 99% tint on it so you cant actually see through it. we heat milk or porridge often which can boil over really quickly, being able to see through is paramount. and its so hard to see they might as well have not bothered with the window or the internal light at all. I cant believe this product had anyone actually test it as its literally the first thing i noticed, i thought the internal light was faulty, but no, you just cant see through the window. we're going to live with it for a day or so, but probably send it back. the rest of it seems fine, but being able to see what you're cooking is a bit of a dealbraker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave has a sensibly sized interior, a ceramic coating making keeping it clean much simpler and easier.The microwave has a power of 800W , the same as our older microwave to the times we used to cook with are the same, no need to try cross referencing to get it correct. The door swings to the left which suits our kitchen perfectly and my wife is thrilled with it. There are a lot of new pre set options which makes defrosting, fast and accurate when you suddenly need to take something from the freezer to make or add to a meal. The size is good and the interior size is better than out old microwave so we can get bigger plates and dishes in. The blue LCD is easy to read and does not give off too much light when it is in standby whereas compared with a whiter LCD that gave off too bright a light. The Quick reference manual is well described for adjusting to the Samsung from our old make. Small details like these have made us wish we had bought a Samsung microwave before this one. We are pensioners so it is important that new products such as this are easy to read and easy to use. Thoroughly pleased and would recommend the MS23K3513AK_EU. Thank you Samsung.
