Customize your photos with My filters on your Galaxy phone or tablet

These days, people love using filters in photos and videos. That’s why Galaxy phones and tablets let you create your own with the My Filters feature! You can imitate the colors and styles of your favorite photos and apply them to new photos as you take them. Each created filter is saved in the Camera app for future use so you can easily access it again later. Note: You cannot use My filters when the camera is set to a 3:4 64MP aspect ratio. The My filters feature is only available on XCover6 Pro, S10, S23, S22, S21, S20, Note20, Z Flip series, Note10, Z Fold series, A54 5G, A53 5G, A32 5G, A23 5G, A13 5G, and A14 5G series phones.
Create or add a filter

Sometimes you just can’t find the right filter for the new selfie you took. If you’ve seen another photo with an effect that you admire, just use it to make your own filter. Up to 99 custom filters can be created and saved to your device.
Open the Camera app, and then select PHOTO.
Tap the Filter icon (it looks like a magic wand) in the top right corner of the screen, and then tap Filters. The first time you use this feature, it may take you through a short tutorial about how to use it.
To create a new filter, tap the + icon. Tap Create filter to open the Gallery app, and then tap Pictures or Albums to find the photo with the filter you want.
Note: You can also tap Download filters to install filter apps.After tapping the photo, it will appear as a thumbnail. Tap the filter’s name to rename it, and then tap Rename. Tap Create to add it.
Customize your photo with your new filter
Note: You cannot use My filters when the camera is set to a 3:4 64MP aspect ratio.
Once you've created your new filter, you can apply it to a photo right then and there.
Open the Camera app, and then select PHOTO.
Tap the Filters icon (it looks like a magic wand), and then tap Filters.
Line up your desired shot using the camera's viewfinder. Then, tap one of the new filters you made to see how it looks.
If you’d like to see how your photo will look without the filter, tap the Original filter option to compare.
When you're ready and have chosen your desired filter, tap Capture to take your photo.
You can view your new photo by navigating to and opening the Gallery app. Select the photo you just took.
To adjust the picture's filter, tap the Edit icon (it looks like a pencil), and then tap the Filter icon (it looks like three circles).
You can adjust the intensity of the filter with the slider. To change the current filter, simply choose one from the list or tap the + icon to create a new one.
You can delete a filter by touching and holding it, and then tapping its Delete icon (the minus sign). Your filters can also be organized by touching and holding the icons, and then dragging them into a different order.
When you are done adjusting the filters, tap Save to save all of your changes.
Filter Provider and software updates
The Filter Provider system app allows the Camera app to create filters. If you’re having trouble using your new filters, it might be helpful to clear the system app data to ensure everything is running smoothly. You can also check for software updates on your device.
Navigate to and open Settings, and then tap Apps.
Tap the sort icon (it looks like a checkmark with three horizontal lines), and then tap the switch next to Show system apps. Tap OK.
Next, search for and select Filter Provider.
Tap Storage, and then tap Clear data. Tap Delete to confirm. Please be aware that this may delete any filters you have created.
Tap Back three times, and then tap Software update. Tap Download and install to check for available updates.

Note: On some carriers, you will need to tap System updates, and then tap Check for system updates or Check for software updates.
