Using MirrorLink® to Connect Your Samsung Galaxy S6 to Your Car

In vehicles where it is supported, MirrorLink lets you view and interact with your mobile device on your car's display. Connect your device using a USB cable to control apps with the steering wheel and dashboard buttons.

Your vehicle's stereo system must support MirrorLink to use this feature. Visit the MirrorLink website to check if your system is compatible.

Turn On MirrorLink

If your vehicle supports MirrorLink, follow these steps to turn on the feature:

  1. Connect your mobile device to your vehicle's USB port using a USB cable.

  2. From your device's Home screen, navigate to Apps > Settings.

  3. Touch More or More connection settings.

It may be necessary to switch the Settings menu to list view by touching More options > View as > List view.

  4. Touch MirrorLink.

It may be necessary to touch the CONNECTIONS tab and then touch More connection settings.

  5. Mark the checkbox next to Connect to vehicle via USB to turn it on.
