How do I change the application notifications on my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge?
Notifications will display on your screen, even when your device is locked. You can control when individual applications push notifications to your device using the application notifications settings.
Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.
Change Application Notification Settings
Turning off notifications for an application means notifications will not display on your lock screen, status bar, or Notification Panel. For example, if you block Gmail™ notifications, your device will not display a notification and will not play a sound or vibrate when that account receives email.
From the Home screen, touch Apps.
It may be necessary to switch the Settings menu to list view by touching More options > View as > List view.
Scroll to and touch Sounds and notifications.
Scroll to and touch Application notifications.
Touch the application for which you want to adjust notification priority.
Touch the sliders OFF to turn notifications ON for a particular situation.
Set as priority: Display notifications from this application at the top of the Notification Panel, and receive notifications even when Do not disturb mode is turned on.
Previews in pop-ups: Display a preview of the notification content at the top of the screen.
Hide noti. on Lock screen: Prevent notifications from this application from displaying on the lock screen.
Hide sensitive content: Display notifications from this application on the lock screen, but do not display any content.
