Add or delete music saved on your Gear IconX earbuds

Manage music files on your Gear IconX with the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone or tablet, or the Gear IconX Manager program on your computer. After a few easy steps, you’ll have all your favorite music bumping in your ears without being chained to a desk! And if you're tired of some of your old tracks, you can delete them just as easily as you can add new ones.
Note: Music cannot be transferred to Galaxy Buds; the following details do not apply.
Tips and information
Keep these tips in mind before you start transferring your favorite songs to your earbuds.
The Gear IconX may not play music files not transferred via the Galaxy Wearable app or Gear IconX Manager. It may be necessary to use the Gear IconX Manager to synchronize the music stored on the earbuds.
The Gear IconX support the MP3, WAV, WMA, and AAC file formats.
You can save up to 1,000 music files on the Gear IconX (approximately 4GB Storage).
If you plug the USB connector into the Gear IconX charging case, music cannot be transferred to your earbuds. You must connect the connector to multipurpose jack on your phone or tablet.
Add music files
We'll walk you through transferring all your tracks using your phone, tablet, or computer, so you can get started on more important things, like picking the perfect playlist.
Note: Do not change the destination folder name or create a new folder. Music files stored may not play if any changes are made to the file directory for the earbuds.
Using your phone or tablet
Open the Galaxy Wearable app, and then tap TRANSFER MUSIC in the MUSIC ON GEAR WINDOW. Next, choose your desired transfer method:
USB transfer: Tap USB connector, and then place your earbuds in the charging case and close the lid. Connect the charging case to the USB cable, and then connect the other end of the cable to your phone or tablet using the USB connector. Tap ADD.
Bluetooth transfer: Tap Wireless transfer, and then place your earbuds in the charging case and leave the lid open. Tap SELECT TRACKS.
Next, select the desired track(s), and then tap DONE.

Using your computer
First, make sure the Gear IconX Manager program is installed on your computer.
Place the Gear IconX in the charging case and close the lid. Then, use the USB cable to connect the charging case to your computer. Next, open Gear IconX Manager, and then click Add new tracks. Select the music file(s) to transfer, and then click Open.
Delete music files
Did you run out of space with all those albums stored on your Gear IconX? Make room for new ones by deleting some music files that are played out.
Using your phone or tablet
Open the Galaxy Wearable app, and then tap the music file title that appears under MUSIC ON GEAR ICONX. Tap More Options, and then tap Edit. Select the music track(s) you want to delete, and then tap DELETE. Deletion cannot be undone.

Using your computer
First, place the Gear IconX in the charging case and close the lid. Then, use the USB cable to connect the charging case to your computer. Next, open Gear IconX Manager, and then click Delete. Select the music file(s) to delete, and then click Delete selected tracks.
