Add or Delete Music Files Saved on Your Gear IconX Earbuds With a Phone

Start jamming to your favorite songs hands-free when you transfer music files from your phone to your Gear IconX earbuds on your phone. After a few easy steps, you’ll have all your music right where you want it.

Music cannot be transferred to Galaxy Buds.

Tips and Information

Keep these tips in mind before you start gathering your favorite playlists.

  • The Gear IconX earbuds may not play music files that are not transferred via the Galaxy Wearable app.

  • The Gear IconX earbuds support the MP3, WAV, WMA, and AAC file formats.

  • You can save up to 1,000 music files in the Gear IconX earbuds. (4GB Storage)

Add Music Files

Via USB Connector

We’ll walk you through transferring all your tracks so you can get started on more important things, like picking the perfect playlist to get you through leg day at the gym. 

Place the Gear IconX earbuds in the charging case. Connect the charging case and the phone using the USB cable that came with your Gear IconX. You may need a USB to USB-C adapter. Next, open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone. Touch TRANSFER MUSIC, and then touch USB connector. Touch ADD, select the desired music track(s), and then touch DONE

Via Bluetooth

If you can't find your USB cable, no problem. You can also transfer music files using Bluetooth.

Navigate to the Galaxy Wearable app. Touch TRANSFER MUSIC, and then touch Wireless transfer. Touch SELECT TRACKS, select the desired music track(s), and then touch DONE.

Delete Music Files

Did you run out of space with all those albums you stored on your Gear IconX earbuds? Make room for new ones by deleting some music files that are played out.

Open the Galaxy Wearable app, and then touch the music file title under MUSIC ON GEAR ICONX. Touch More Options, and then touch Edit. Select the music file(s) you want to delete. Touch DELETE
