Reset the Gear IconX Earbuds

Reset the Gear IconX earbuds to set your settings to the factory default and delete all the music files on your Gear IconX earbuds.

Resetting the Gear IconX Earbuds Using the Samsung Gear App

  1. Navigate to Samsung Gear > SETTINGS > About Gear IconX.   

  2. Touch Reset Gear.   

  3. Touch RESET GEAR. Your Gear IconX earbuds will be turned off.   

Resetting the Gear IconX Earbuds Using the Reset Button

  1. Remove the wing tip from the Gear IconX earbud. Then, use a paper clip to press and hold the Reset button above the heart rate sensor for more than seven seconds. The Gear IconX earbud will turn off.

  2. Use the paper clip again to press and hold the Reset button for more than three seconds.   

  3. Follow the same procedure for the other Gear IconX earbud.
