Connect a Mobile Device to Your Sound+ Soundbar via Bluetooth
When a mobile device is connected to your soundbar using Bluetooth, you can listen to your favorite music without the hassle of cabling. Share your new awesome playlist at your next party!
Connecting Your Mobile Device
Select BT mode by pressing Source on the remote or soundbar.
BT will change to BT PAIRING.
If BT READY appears, press and hold Source for 6 seconds to display BT PAIRING.
Navigate to the Bluetooth menu on your mobile device.
Select [AV] Samsung Soundbar from the list of devices.
When the connection is successful, [Bluetooth Device Name] > BT will appear on the soundbar display.
If the Connection Fails
If the previous soundbar appears in your mobile device's Bluetooth device list, delete it.
While the soundbar is in BT mode, press and hold Source on the remote or soundbar for 6 seconds to switch to BT PAIRING mode. Then, select [AV] Samsung Soundbar from your mobile device's Bluetooth device list.
Disconnecting Your Mobile Device
Press Source on the remote or soundbar and switch the soundbar to any mode except BT.
Depending on your TV, this can also display as External Speakers.
BT READY: You can search for a previously connected TV or connect to the soundbar from a previously connected mobile device.
BT PAIRING: You can connect to a new device.
If you are asked for a PIN when connecting a Bluetooth device, enter 0000.
The Bluetooth connection has a maximum distance of 32.8 feet.
The soundbar will turn off automatically if it is idle in BT READY mode for 5 minutes.
Electronic devices may cause radio interference. Keep devices that generate electromagnetic waves away from the soundbar (microwaves, wireless LAN devices, etc.).
The soundbar may not perform the Bluetooth search or connection correctly in these situations:
If there is a strong electrical field around the soundbar.
If multiple Bluetooth devices are connected to the soundbar simultaneously.
If the Bluetooth device is turned off, not in place, or malfunctions.
