Use workout programs in Samsung Health
You've gone through your whole workout repertoire and are looking for something new. Samsung Health has a variety of fitness programs to mix up your routine. There's stretching, weight loss, running, endurance training, and more. Unlike exercise trackers, workout programs give you a set schedule that you can follow. When you add or use programs, you'll feel challenged again.
Note: Available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider, software version, or phone model.
Add a program
On a phone
Open the Samsung Health app. Tap the Discover tab, and then tap Programs. Select a specific program that interests you to view its details. If you like the program, tap Add program, and then tap Done. Once a program has been added, it will appear on your Samsung Health Home tab.
Note: If it's your first time looking at programs, you may need to review a disclaimer before you're able to view the full list of available programs.
On a smart watch
Before you can add a program to your watch, you have to add it on your phone. Any programs added to your phone will automatically be available on your watch and can be added using the Multi-workout widget. If you don't have this widget, you can add it from the watch or the Galaxy Wearable app. Once you have it, scroll to Multi-workout, tap Add, and then tap the name of the program you want to add. Now tap Done, and that's it!
Use a program
On a phone
To use a program you've added, tap the Home tab, and then swipe to and tap the program. Tap Download workout, and when it's done downloading, tap Start workout. You will be able to rewind, pause, or fast forward the workout video. To stop the program, tap the Pause icon, and then tap Stop workout.
On a watch
There are two ways to start your workout program from your watch. If you added the program to the Multi-workout widget, simply scroll to the widget, and then tap the program. You can wait for the countdown, or tap Start to begin immediately.
Alternatively, you can simply scroll over to the Exercise widget and tap Work out. From here, tap the name of the workout program you want, and then wait for the countdown or tap Start. To pause or stop, press the back button on your watch. This will pause the program. Tap Stop to finish your workout, and then tap the check mark.
Drop a program
If you've finished a program, or you found a better one to suit your needs, you can remove any you aren't using.
From the Home tab of Samsung Health, swipe to and tap the program you want to drop. Tap More options, and then tap Drop program. If you change your mind, you can always download it again later.
Note: Once you drop a program on your phone, it will automatically be removed from your watch.
