Customize news in Bixby Home

Man using a Galaxy phone

Not only can Bixby perform all kinds of commands, it can also keep you in the loop with the latest headlines. If only certain types of news interest you, don't worry; you can customize your news content and control what types of media you receive.

Customize your Bixby Home news feed

You like to stay informed, but sometimes the news is just too depressing. You can customize the type of content you receive on the News card in Bixby Home.

From the Home screen, swipe right to open Bixby Home. If you don't see the News card in Bixby Home, make sure the News Briefing card is turned on. Tap More Options, and then tap Cards. From here, you can turn on the News Briefing card.

Next, swipe to the News card, and then tap Customize. Select 3 areas of interest, and tap Continue. Tap the switch next to your desired topics; you can select up to 10 categories that interest you. Your chosen topics will now appear as cards in Bixby Home. When you're finished, tap Done.
