- Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the Quick settings panel.
- Tap the Settings icon (it looks like a gear), and then tap Device care.
- To view used and available space, tap Storage.

- Use the Storage Analytics feature to identify large files and apps consuming space.
- Tap your desired file category, such as Images, Videos, Audio files, Documents, etc.
- Then, touch and hold your desired file to select it, or tap All at the top of the screen to select all of your files.
- Tap Delete or Delete all, and then tap Move to Trash to confirm.
By following these steps, you can effectively manage and free up storage space on your device.
Optimize the memory
To ensure your Galaxy Z TriFold runs smoothly, follow these steps to clean and manage your memory:
- Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the Quick settings panel.
- Tap the Settings icon (it looks like a gear), and then tap Device care.
- Tap Memory to view the Analytics feature, which identifies apps consuming memory.

- Tap Clean now to clear memory and stop background apps from slowing down your phone.

- If you want certain apps to keep running, tap Excluded apps, then tap Add (the plus sign). Select your desired apps, and tap Add.

RAM Plus
RAM Plus is a feature that creates virtual memory by utilizing your phone's internal storage, significantly boosting multitasking capabilities.
Here's how it works:
- Virtual memory creation: RAM Plus uses a portion of your device's internal storage to act as additional memory, allowing more apps to run simultaneously.
- Improved multitasking: By expanding the effective memory capacity, RAM Plus ensures smoother app switching and better performance when handling multiple tasks.
- Customizable allocation: You can adjust the amount of storage used for RAM Plus based on your usage needs, balancing multitasking performance with available storage space.
To enable and adjust RAM Plus:
- Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the Quick settings panel.
- Tap the Settings icon (it looks like a gear), and then tap Device care.
- Tap RAM Plus, and then adjust the virtual memory allocation according to your needs.

Access Cloud storage options

The Galaxy Z TriFold offers seamless integration with cloud storage services, allowing you to store and access your files across multiple devices. Here's how you can make the most of this feature:

- Accessibility: Access your files from anywhere, on any device.
- Convenience: Easily share and collaborate on documents, photos, and more.
- Management: Free up internal storage by moving files to the cloud.
Cloud Storage options
Your Galaxy Z TriFold is already equipped with Samsung Cloud and Google Drive. Just sign in to your account, and then keep your device backed up.
Samsung Cloud
- Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the Quick settings panel.
- Tap your Samsung account name at the top of the screen, and then tap Samsung Cloud.

- Tap an app to see its additional sync settings. To change the sync settings, tap Sync using, and then choose Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- Tap Back, and then tap Back up data.

- Tap the switch(es) next to your desired apps and data to turn auto sync on or off for them. Some apps you can sync include Messages, Contacts, Calendar, and Bluetooth.
- If you want to manually sync everything right now, tap Back up now.
OneDrive with your Samsung account
- Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the Quick settings panel.
- Tap your Samsung account name at the top of the screen, and then tap Samsung Cloud.

- Tap Gallery, and then adjust the available sync settings as you desire in order to back up your photos and videos to OneDrive.
Google Drive with your Google Account
- Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the Quick settings panel.
- Tap Accounts and backup, and then tap Back up data. You can also open the Google Drive app or visit drive.google.com on your phone.

- If backup is turned off, tap Turn on.
- Then, tap Back up now to upload files.

With these cloud options, you can access your files from any device with internet connectivity.
Other Cloud storage services
To use other Cloud storage options:
- Install the cloud storage app of your choice from the Galaxy Store or Google Play Store.
- Log in to your account or create a new one.
- Upload and sync your files to the cloud for easy access across devices.
- Open the app to view and manage your stored files.
Manage files with My Files

The My Files app on your Galaxy Z TriFold provides a user-friendly way to organize, access, and manage your files.
Key features
- Organized browsing: Browse files by category, such as Images, Videos, and Downloads.
- File operations: Easily delete, move, or share files with simple gestures.
- Quick search: Use the search feature to quickly locate specific files.
To use My Files:
- Open the My Files app on your phone.
- Navigate through categories like Images, Videos, and Downloads to find your files.
- Use the Search field to quickly find specific files by name or type.

- Touch and hold a file to select it, then choose to Delete, Move, or Share it.

- To move files to a storage drive or thumb drive:
- Connect the drive to your phone using a USB-C cable or adapter.
- In the My Files app, tap Move, and then select SD card or USB Storage from the pop-up menu. This option will only show up if you have a flash device inserted.
By mastering the My Files app, you can efficiently manage your files and keep your Galaxy Z TriFold organized for optimal performance.
Manual file transfer to a PC

Your Galaxy Z TriFold comes with a USB cable for charging and connecting to a PC that can be used for file transfers.
- Unlock your Galaxy Z TriFold and connect it to your PC using a USB cable (or an adapter if needed).
- If prompted, tap Allow on your phone to grant connection permissions.
- To ensure the connection on your phone is set to Transferring files (MTP), tap the USB notification on your phone, and then make sure Transferring files/Android Auto is selected.
- Now, use your File Explorer on your PC to browse and copy files between the devices. Windows may suggest other installed apps as well.
By following these steps, you can easily manage and transfer files between your Galaxy Z TriFold and PC.
Share your device storage with TV or PC

With Storage Share, you can easily transfer files between your Galaxy Z TriFold and your Samsung TV or Galaxy Book.
To set up Storage Share:
- Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the Quick settings panel.
- Tap the Settings icon (it looks like a gear), and then tap Connected devices.

- Turn on the switch at the top of the menu to enable Storage Share.
- Select the Samsung TV or Galaxy Book you want to connect to in the list of available devices. If it doesn't appear, enable Storage Share in the device's Settings > Connected devices menu.
By using Storage Share, you can seamlessly manage and share files across your Samsung ecosystem, enhancing productivity and convenience.
