Samsung PC power button is not working properly or is broken
If the Power button doesn't work properly, make sure nothing is causing the Power button to stick. It may be necessary to clean the Power button or keyboard. You may wipe down the keyboard with a damp microfiber cloth, or use a compressed air canister for cleaning between the keys. Do not directly apply liquid cleaners to the PC and do not use household cleaners.

1
Check what the Power button is set to do.
Navigate to the Search bar on your PC and then type and select Control Panel. Select System and Security, and then select Change what the power buttons do under the Power Options section. Select your desired functions under Power button and lid settings.
If the Power button is still not working properly, please continue to the next steps in this guide.
2
Turn off the PC.
Before cleaning, shut down the computer and disconnect all cables, chargers, and adapters. If your computer has a detachable keyboard, remove it before cleaning.
3
Clean the Power button
Use a damp microfiber cloth or a compressed air canister for cleaning around the Power button.
Do not directly apply liquid cleaners to the keyboard or the Power button and do not use household cleaners.
Note
Make sure the area is completely dry before turning on the computer.
4
Test the outlet.
Plug something else into the outlet the power cable or charger was in, like a phone charger or lamp. Or, plug the power cable into an outlet you know is working.
5
Check the charger or power cable's connections.
Make sure the power cord is plugged in properly at both ends. Some cords are in two parts with an adapter in the middle, so make sure that connection is secure, too.
6
Try turning on your PC using the Power button.
