Detergent does not dispense in Samsung dishwasher

Detergent does not dispense in Samsung dishwasher
Do not overfill the dispenser.
Verify the detergent dispenser is not too full. Only fill it up to or below the fill line. This will help it to dissolve and dispense properly.
If you're using detergent tablets, make sure the tablet is placed properly in the dispenser and the dispenser door is closed correctly.
For more on using detergent correctly in your dishwasher, see our guide.
Clean away any detergent buildup.
Increase the water temperature.
Depending on the brand used, some detergent tablets require a higher water temperature in order to fully dissolve and may leave behind residue if the water is too cool. This is required more often with detergent tablets. The water should be at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit, but if the detergent manufacturer instructions say to set it hotter, then make sure to do so.
You can check the water requirements for your dishwasher to make sure you are using the correct temperature and water pressure.
Check for obstructions.
Make sure no dishes or utensils are blocking any of the moving parts in the dishwasher (nozzles, water reflector, and the dispenser). Also make sure the spray arms rotate freely and the nozzles are not clogged with food particles. Clearing any obstructions will ensure the detergent door does not get blocked and the detergent can dissolve or dispense.
Run a cycle.
Empty the dishwasher, add detergent, and then run a cycle.
- If the detergent dispenses properly on an empty cycle, service is not required.
- If the empty cycle completes and detergent does not dispense, please visit our Support Center to request service.
- If the cycle does not complete, troubleshoot the error code or blinking lights that display.
