There are some facts you should know about the calorie data on your Samsung smart watch:
- The watch will display estimated calories burned, based on the current time of day that it is initialized, even after a reset.
- Data on the watch takes into account a person's basal metabolic rate (BMR), which is calculated using the information in the user profile.
- The calorie count displayed does not mean the exact burned calories during exercise, and is not the same as the true burned calorie data.
- The calorie calculation may increase based on the basal metabolic rate (BMR), even without exercising. This is normal operation.

From the watch's Home screen, navigate to and open the Samsung Health app. Tap the Daily activity tracker at the top of the screen. On a smart fitness band, you can simply open the Calories app.
If you have the Daily activity tile set up on your Wear OS model, you can swipe left on the Home screen and then select the tile to open the tracker.

The number of calories you've burned will be displayed under the Activity section followed by the abbreviation "Cal." For example, you may see 320/1200 Cal.
You should reset your watch if the calorie count isn't being recorded, or if the count displays zero, even after performing an exercise. Back up your data using the Galaxy Wearable app before the reset. Please note that Samsung is not responsible for any data loss.
