Samsung Quick Share agent keeps stopping error pop-up

If you encounter an error pop-up stating that the Quick Share Agent keeps stopping when trying to use Quick Share, this guide provides a solution. The issue may occur if the Quick Share Agent app is outdated. Follow these steps to update the app and resolve the problem.

Samsung Quick Share agent keeps stopping error pop-up

Check for software updates.

Make sure your device's software is up to date for optimal performance. Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the Quick panel. Tap the Settings icon (the gear), tap Software update, and then follow the on-screen menu to download and install any available updates.

Update the Quick Share app.

Open the Galaxy Store. Use the search bar to search and select Quick Share. Swipe to the Overview section to check if the software version is v3.5.14.65 or later.

  • If an update is available, tap Update.
  • If no update is available, check back again later.

Restart your device.

After updating, restart your device to ensure the changes take effect. Swipe down from the top right corner of the screen to open the Quick panel, and then tap the Power icon. Tap Restart, and then tap Restart again to confirm.
