What is the Samsung TV/MONITOR Trade-In and Trade-Up Recycling Promotion?
The Samsung TV/MONITOR Trade-In and Trade-Up Recycling Promotion allows customers purchasing a Samsung TV or monitor to trade in their old TV or monitor and receive an instant trade-in credit toward the purchase of their new Samsung TV or monitor.

What TVs or monitors can I trade in? How much will I get for it?
You can trade in a TV or monitor you own currently (any brand, any size) and receive corresponding instant trade-in credit. This instant trade-in credit will be applied toward the purchase of a new eligible Samsung television. I have a TV or monitor with damages (cracked screen, no sound, etc.) Can I trade it in?
Yes, we accept trade-in TVs and monitors in any condition.
The TV or monitor I’m trading in was bought using an equal payments or financing plan, and I still have payments left on it. Can I still trade it in?
Yes – however, please note that all remaining payments on the TV or monitor you’re trading in are your responsibility. You may also be subject to additional fees.
Trading in Your TV/monitor
When I hand over to Samsung the TV or monitor I’m trading in, should I hand over accessories that came with the TV or monitor?
For TVs, you should hand over the TV, remote, and stand to Samsung. For monitors, please hand over the monitor, stand, and remote if it came with the monitor.
My trade-in TV is mounted on a wall. Do I need to take it off before the pick up?
Yes, unmount and disconnect the TV or monitor before pickup.
What if I don’t have my TV or monitor ready for pickup? Will I incur any charges?
Unfortunately, the Samsung TV/MONITOR Trade-In and Trade-Up Recycling Promotion is a delivery and pick up service. If your Trade-In TV or monitor is not ready or present at the time of delivery, we are unable to schedule another trip to come back. If your Trade-in TV or monitor is not ready or is not available for pick up when the new TV or monitor is delivered, you agree to pay Samsung the full value of the Promotional Trade-In Credit that you received ($50 or $100 as applicable.) You authorize such charge to be made on the same payment method used to pay for the new TV or monitor.
What if I have a problem with my order and refuse the delivery of the new TV or monitor?
If you refuse the delivery of your new TV or monitor, the trade-in device will not be picked up and will be rescheduled for a later date when we come back with the replacement order.
What happens to my old trade-in TV or monitor once Samsung picks it up?
The TV will be transported Electronic Recyclers International facility where it will be inspected and refurbished or broken down for parts and materials that can be reused or disposed of properly. Our recycling partner, ERI’s web address is http://www.electronicrecyclers.com/.
What if I want my old TV or monitor back after I handed it over to Samsung?
When you hand over your old TV or monitor to us, you are transferring the ownership to Samsung and it cannot be returned to you for any reason.
What if I change my mind about the trade-in?
If you decide after you make your purchase that you don't want to trade in your old TV or monitor, you don't need to do anything. Approximately 15 days after the date on which you receive the new Samsung TV or monitor, Samsung will charge you for the amount of the promotional trade-in credit (either $50 or $100 as applicable) that was applied to your order, using the same payment method that you used when you completed your initial order. If you do not have sufficient credit available on the credit card or other account you used when you placed your order, Samsung will contact you and you must provide an alternative method.
Can I return my new TV or monitor if I decide to do that?
We’re sure you’ll love your new Samsung TV or monitor but, just in case, our normal return policy applies.
