Features

Flexible cooling with AI efficiency

4 flexible modes

Full-Flex Convertible

Switch between four modes* — Freezer, Soft Freeze, Cold and Fridge — to match your storage needs. When extra fresh space is needed, you can temporarily use the freezer as a fridge**. The Soft Freeze mode also keeps meat and fish firm yet easy to cut for quick preparation.

The fridge and freezer are installed in the kitchen, with the freezer door open. Customize your freezer to suit your storage needs. Freezer (-23 to -15°C), Soft Freeze (-5°C), Cold (-1°C), and Fridge (1 to 7°C). Flexible 4 modes from freezer to fridge. Full-Flex Convertible. ※ For illustrative purposes only. Actual product and features may vary by model. The fridge and freezer are installed in the kitchen, with the freezer door open. Customize your freezer to suit your storage needs. Actual product and features may vary by model.
* Internally tested on RR7000 which is the prototype model of RI80H/24.**Based on the assumption of an external temperature of 32℃ with no load, it takes around 5 hours from freezer(-19℃) to fridge (3℃) and it takes around 6 hours from fridge (3℃) to freezer (-19℃).

AI enhanced cooling

AI precise cooling

Maintain a consistent temperature in the fridge by automatically adjusting the defrost cycle to suit different situations. AI Precise Cooling on the SmartThings App* analyzes your usage patterns and then controls the defrosting, so that it minimizes fluctuations, helping food maintain its taste, texture, and freshness.

The fridge and freezer installed in the kitchen show the doors opening multiple times. The clock at the bottom right indicates the passage of time. The graph shows the number of door openings over time, and AI studies your usage patterns and adjusts defrost cycles to suit different situations. It also reduces temperature fluctuations during defrost for lasting freshness. A graph shows temperature deviation during cooling, and Precise Cooling maintains ±0.5°C. Freshness that lasts. * Available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required.** When the AI precision cooling is activated, the refrigerator usage pattern is analysed and the defrosting is initiated when the doors are not opened frequently to help minimize the refrigerator's temperature fluctuations and ensures optimal performance. Actual results may vary depending on individual use.

AI-powered energy savings, up to 10%

AI Energy Mode

Reduce your energy use by up to 10%* with AI Energy mode in SmartThings Energy**. If your estimated energy usage exceeds your preset target, it gives you an option to save energy***. It intelligently adjusts the compressor speed and defrost cycle, based on your usage pattern and surroundings.

* Based on internal testing. The test results are based on a comparison of the factory setting temperature when using AI Energy mode and without using AI Energy mode. Results may vary depending on the usage conditions and patterns.** Available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required.*** SmartThings will display a notification before activating the saving algorithm in both 'Maximum mode' and 'Custom mode'.

Performance

Holds in the cold

Metal Cooling (Door & Duct) (*optional)

Maintain the optimal temperature inside the fridge, so food stays fresh, even if you frequently open and close the door. The Metal Cooling plate in the rear wall and the door retains the cold from the air and helps to restore any heat loss quickly. And it also adds a premium look and is easy to wipe clean.

*Available on selected models

Even cooling for lasting freshness

All-around Cooling

Make sure that all of your food is properly cooled. All-around Cooling cools each compartment evenly from corner to corner. It continually checks the temperature and circulates cool air through strategically placed vents. So food is kept at the optimum temperature and stays fresher for longer.

Frost free freshness

No Frost

Avoid wasting time and power defrosting the fridge. No Frost technology enhances the air circulation to maintain a constant temperature, which prevents the buildup of ice. It also reaches the target temperature much faster. And places less demand on the cooling system, so it lasts longer.

* Based on a comparison of the Samsung No Frost refrigerator RB31FERNCWW and Frost refrigerator RL39THCTS. Individual results may vary depending on environmental factors and individual use. Comparison of older No-Frost and Frost Samsung refrigerators from [2010] to show effect of No Frost technology. All current and recent refrigerators include No Frost technology as standard.

Rapid freezing

Power Freeze

Freeze your food or make ice rapidly. At the touch of a button, the Power Freeze function automatically sets the freezer temperature to the lowest level and delivers a fast blast of intensely cold air into the freezer. It is great for freezing or firming up frozen food and making ice quickly.

Convenience

More inside, same outside

SpaceMax™ Technology

Store more food with a very spacious interior. Unique SpaceMax™ technology uses special high-urethane insulation that enables the walls to be much thinner without compromising energy efficiency. So it creates much more storage space inside without increasing the external dimensions.

Gentle on the eyes

Gentle Lighting

Avoid your eyes being strained if the light is too bright. Gentle Lighting on the SmartThings App* lets you set the brightness of the internal lighting. Dimming mode will also turn it on gradually, while Night Light mode adjusts the brightness based on whether it is daytime or nighttime.

* The SmartThings App is available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required.

Design

A stylish, minimalist look

Sleek and Modern Design

Give your home an extra touch of style elegantly sleek and modern look. The clean and contemporary design features a strikingly beautiful flat front. So it will fit seamlessly with kitchen appliances and enhance the look of your home.

Connectivity

Control anywhere

Wi-Fi Enabled

Monitor and manage your refrigerator anytime, anywhere. Its embedded Wi-Fi lets you track and adjust its performance using the SmartThings App*. You can easily control the cooling mode, change the temperature and get alerts if the door is left open. It will also detect and help diagnose issues.

* Available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required.

Reliability

Peace of mind

Home Appliance Remote Management (HRM)

Get proactive prediction and diagnosis* with continuous monitoring, and resolve problems remotely. Home Appliance Remote Management (HRM)** fixes issues, offers usage tips and enables remote troubleshooting to help avoid service visits. Prevent surprise breakdowns and enjoy long-lasting reliability.

* Includes both fault and non-fault diagnosis. The fault diagnosis is based on an error code on the product while the non-fault diagnosis is a perceived defect that occurs as a usability issue without generating an error code. Certain issues can be detected by AI based on the operational data, regardless of whether it generates an error code or not.** Only available on SmartThings-supported models produced after 2018. Requires the SmartThings App, which is available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are also required.

7 Years of Software Updates

Samsung’s commitment to providing 7 years of software updates on flagship products* sets a bold new standard in smart living. It means your appliances can offer the latest user experience, performance features, system updates and security patch enhancements, so they stay valuable and future-ready.

* Available on smart home appliances that are equipped with a Wi-Fi module, released in 2024 and later. Additionally, this support is applicable only for flagship products.** This update will be provided for 7 years from the product launch date.
