Absolutely love this vacuum. Did the job for a while, then as expected just over 2 years the battery gave up.. Ordered a replacement from authorised dealer, it took almost 3 months to arrive... lasted a whole 1 day, returned the battery and it was found to be faulty and under warranty, so got another one which took 6 weeks to arrive and has lasted a whole 3 weeks. About to return again.... As someone who has autism and adhd and vacuuming is something that brings me joy and basically is the only thing to help me get going with other house cleaning, the whole thing has been extremely stressful, like meltdown stressful. Disappointing...

Bought instead of the Ned v15 dyson. Have had for a month now with no issues. There are people reviewing the v90 baldly due to run time. They just need to do their research better. 20min run time with a powered head is very reasonable. It says up to 60min on low power with a non powered accessory attached. These numbers are up there with Dyson and other high end stickers vacs. So people who are complaining about run time just didn't do their research properly. Definitely not a fault/misinformation on Samsung's behalf. Would buy an extra battery but yes $250 is very steep. Other than that...great job Samsung

Very disappointing battery life for an expensive cleaner.using on medium it lasts 20 minutes ☹️ Tried on lower setting but suction wasn’t great. Outrageous price for extra battery $ 249

Vacuum’s great BUT battery died 7 days out of 2 yr warranty - expected more from an $800 vac given our last Dyson lasted over 7 years on the same battery. Won’t be buying another battery at $250, and won’t buy Samsung again.

Agree with other reviewers, battery ran for 15 min on max with no power attachment. Not sure how Samsung can get away with this. A normal house takes at least 50 mins to clean properly. Cost of extra battery is rediculous given upfront cost of item. I am taking mine back tomorrow and seeking a refund. Not fit for purpose. Disappointed for sure.

Bought this vacuum with expectations of getting up to 60 min of run time. On the medium (default) setting I'm lucky to get 20 min and on the high setting run time is reduced to under 10 min. Absolutely pathetic for a battery that cost $249 alone and a vacuum ~ $1000. Would need 3 batteries to vacuum my house at a comfortable pace. Disappointing.

Extremely disappointed with very short run time of this battery, nothing like the "up to 1 hour" advertised under any circumstance of normal use, causes me to consider the claim as misleading advertising. And at a price of $249 for a second battery to give an extra 30mins max, this is really rubbing the salt into the wounds.

Stick vacume. Head snapped off after minor altercation with a chair leg and battery has died after 23 months. Service agent for Samsung was rude arrogant and definitely not helpful to the customer.

20 minutes is max you can use it, that's a bit short, isn't it? It states up to 1 hour, which the normal person would think would last at least 50 minutes... I love the vacuum cleaner, but 20 minutes? that's a bite of a lie.

I recently purchased the VS 90 vac, but the battery life is very poor 20 minutes at best and to make things worse the price of the addition battery $249 really!

The battery suddenly died on its own. I’ve used this cleaner only a few times in two and a half years — it’s practically brand new, but the battery failed for no reason. Extremely disappointing.

The run time of the battery in the V90 Jet stick vacuum cleaner is nothing short of pathetic. In addition, to find that a replacement battery is $249 makes me wish I had never purchased this machine. It is so disappointing as we find the vacuum itself to be very good but as we have pets the run time makes it impossible to clean the house without having to recharge it.

After 6yrs its still going strong. Fantastic suction, gets all the pet fur. Lightweight, easy to empty and easy to clean. The stand with accessory holder is great and doesn't take up much space. I had a Dyson for years. To replace with a dyson stick vac i had to mount the charging station to the wall. This means making holes in the walls of my new house. With the samsung i can move the charging stand with accessories anywhere. I vacuum the whole 3 bdrm house on 1 charge. Occasionally i do need to empty the dustbin to do the whole house. I dont think I've ever run out of battery and its always charged ready to go. It only seems to use the battery fast if you use on max. We rarely find the need for this. It was a similar price to the Dyson, came with the pet brush instead of having to purchase separate.

I've had it a year , I do my whole house with the battery and my house is not small at all. I even have a spare hardly use it and I always use medium speed when I do carpet I use max does fantastic job very happy .

Very happy with this product. Picks up a lot of dust and hair and easy to use. Ideally you do need a spare battery but overall a great product!
