How does New Galaxy Club work?

When can I redeem my upgrade benefit to purchase a new phone?New Galaxy Club customers can trade-in their registered device and get back up to 50% of their device value back when upgrading to an eligible Galaxy phone between months 9 and 13 after enrolment.
If you would like to redeem your upgrade benefit prior to 9 months after joining, an Early Upgrade Fee will apply.
Registered device must be in Good Working Order for maximum value. Early upgrade fee may apply to trade-in requests prior to month 9.
Trade-in benefit may be used in conjunction with other offers (unless expressly advised otherwise). -
How will I know when I am eligible to upgrade?If you have opted in to receive marketing communications from Samsung, we'll send you an email after 9 months to remind you that you are eligible to redeem your upgrade benefit. Please ensure that you have opted-in to marketing communications to receive this email.

Can I opt-out of Samsung Care+ when joining?No, Samsung Care+ benefits are included with all New Galaxy Club subscriptions.

How can I cancel my subscription?You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. A full refund is available only if you cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase date and have not used any Samsung Care+ or New Galaxy Club entitlements. Cancellations made after this 14-day period are not eligible for a refund, and your subscription will stay active until the end of your current billing cycle. The 14-day refund period applies once at the start of your subscription, not each month.
Follow these steps to cancel your monthly subscription:
1. Log-in to your Samsung account on https://www.samsung.com/au/
2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the interface and navigate to your "Orders" page
3. Expand the panel of the order containing your New Galaxy Subscription subscript by clicking on "View details"
4. Click on "Cancel Subscription"
You may cancel your upfront subscription within 14 days of your initial purchase date by calling Samsung from within Australia on 1300 362 603 between 9.00am and 5.00pm (AEDT) Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

What do I need to do before sending my old device back?Once you've decided to upgrade your old phone for a new one, you'll need to do the following:
1) Check the current condition of your device.
2) Remember to back up all your contacts, pictures, videos, and files.
3) Remove any SIM card, memory card, and anything else you've got on your phone
4) Do a full factory reset
5) Follow any additional instructions you receive via email after redeeming your update benefit -
What happens if my phone isn't in Good Working Order?If you have at least 1 remaining service request available, you will be charged the corresponding NGWO Guaranteed Residual Value Trade-In Fee prior to receiving your trade-in credit or voucher.
If your phone is damaged and you do not have any remaining service request benefits, you will be charged an additional Alternative NGWO Guaranteed Residual Value Trade-In Fee. -
What if my phone is lost or stolen?New Galaxy Club and Samsung Care+ do not cover lost or stolen devices.
In the event that your enrolled device is lost or stolen, you will need to cancel your monthly subscription. -
How quickly do I have to send my old device after upgrading?After receiving your new Galaxy device, you will have 14 days to return your old Galaxy Device. If you are unable to return your old Galaxy device on time, you may be charged a Device Non-Return Fee.

What happens if I do not upgrade my phone and I want to keep it?You will continue to have access to your Samsung Care+ benefits while your subscription is active. After month 13, you will no longer be able to redeem the upgrade benefit.
