I bought a Galaxy S23 during the preorder period. I am quite disappointed with this purchase. - I thought that the S23 would be dual sim, but as I received it I found out that there is only one sim slot for the model sold in Australia. - I couldn't benefit from my $50 voucher because customer service didn't send it to me on time. - I had a Galaxy S10 before and I thought that the screen would be the same size in a more modern device, but the S23 screen looks noticeably smaller, in a very thick device, which gives a strange impression (it is thicker than an Iphone 7!). - The camera is top quality. - I'm happy with the memory upgrade.

It's pretty much like my Samsung Galaxy S10 phone. That I bought at Harvey Norman's. Instead of going directly through Samsung. Plus, megabytes included In my phone plan. And That is good for me, cause I know how it works. I really not sure of anything real different in the Samsung S23 phone I could afford. I originally wanted the flip hone. Missed that. Really wanted to get the S23 Ultra, with the pen. That looked really cool, and pen helpful. My only big issue I have with the Samsung S23 phone is that it tricky to turn off cause you gotta press 2 buttons together at the same time. Can be frustrating. A bit on heavy side.

T recently purchased this phone and so far, I'm extremely impressed. The battery life is incredibly long, which is great for me since I'm often away from my charger. I also appreciate the fact that the phone comes with a variety of apps that I didn't need but are nice to have. The camera zoom is top notch, and I haven't experienced any issues with overheating or slow downloads. The phone is also comfortable to hold, which is a plus. The only downside I've experienced is that the camera can sometimes be a bit blurry, but this only happens occasionally. All in all, I'm very happy with this phone and would recommend it to anyone looking for an upgrade.

Im just getting to know my s23 and like all good enduring relationships we're taking it slow. It's helping me take spectacular photos. It understood my need to clear my old apple stuff and is helping me sort through all my old duplicates and apps. The process of moving all over from apple was so much easier than i thought it would be. My s26 still doesn't recognise my face or let me use my fingerprints but in time I'm sure we'll work it out. My new watch and i are also bonding. I need to spend time setting it ip and using it, but for now is functioning well enough. My S23 is pretty, feels nice, and promises to be all i want it to.be.

This is one of the best phones I have wver used. I love the small size of the phone. For my tiny hands this is a perfect size. Althought I would prefer a slightly smaller size. The battery life is amazing and lasts for a long time and gets me throughout the day with no issues. The colour ranges are nice but I wish there were more exciting colours instead of sophisticated colours. The amount of brightness this phone holds is amazing and if the next s24 has a better brightness that is a good enough reason for me to upgrade again! The fingerprint and facial recognition on the ohone is also superb. No complaints. 10/10.

I have had the phone now for 1 week, and this is the best phone upgrade I've ever had, upgrading from the S20. It genuinely feels like a new-generation phone compared to a 3-year old phone. The camera alone is worth the price of admission - new photos are the best I've ever taken, close enough to a DLSR. I've even done up a whole heap of post-processing and our pictures have never looked better. The battery is also a great improvement on the S20, giving me a good 30% increase in practical use every day. I'm looking forward to getting my Buds 2 Pro to pair with the phone in the next week too, just waiting on delivery.

I upgraded from the S10 (dying battery and motherboard, if it weren't for this I'd still be using it) which I used for 4 years and was really happy with. Unfortunately the S23 doesn't have an SD card slot, heart rate monitor or headphone jack so in that way it kinda feels like a downgrade. But the Snapdragon chip means it is noticeably faster than the Exynos in the S10, and battery life is amazing! If you want near top of the specs currently on the market, but don't like the giant phones which you can't use one handed, the S23 is the phone to go. But definitely go with the 256gb model since there is no expandable memory.

I have had this phone for over 7 months and have submitted over 200 error reports with many of the errors still unfixed. There is just too many to list in such a short space. The last straw is an alarm decided not to go off again this morning making me miss a vital appointment. It is a common problem for this S23 as I have read many other complaints. Anyone that says this phone is anything but a piece of crap is a complete liar, paid or knows nothing about tech. This phone has impaired my life and made me very unhappy. They may use high end components but the code holding it together is a joke. I am taking samsung to VCAT to get my money back and apply for damages.

I upgraded from Samsung S10 to a S23 Plus a week ago. I'ml thrilled with the features of S23+ and its larger size. The battery life is outstanding and shocks me when I plug it in at end of the day and find its still around 75% charged. Loving the screen with it clear vibrant colours and features, suitable for watching videos and movies. I found the phone has a fantastic interface and user friendly. The camera is amazing and photos have clear and sharp images..and thats without changing the settings. The whole package is user friendly and I would highly recommend it to my friends. Good on you Samsung…loving this phone.

I was due to trade in my S20 but was a little wary as I did not look forward to downloading all my apps again, nor having to re-log into absolutely everything all over again. The Samsung Swap feature made everything SOOOOO much easier than on my previous trades as all of my apps were transferred and were even in exactly the same spots as on my old phone. The only things I had to supply passwords for were my google and bank accounts. The rest were tied into Samsung Pass - which came across from my old phone. I love the new colours - I got lavender! The screen is beautifully clear and the camera takes excellent pictures.

S23 Bought by my husband who writes: Base S23 is great however vertical Camera Array is a nuisance when my index finger is often on the lower lens. Fingerprint scanner isn't the best with glass protector and it often fails. Face recognition is also pretty useless at times, all this causes delays very often. I guess one day, Samsung will intro a rear sensor or side power button sensor because the screen touch is an old fashioned hassle. Cameras are not that good either and many shots transferred from LG V30 (older tech) are just as good. So many privacy concerns these days, so if we have to pay so much for a phone why cant there be a model or mode to run in complete privacy.

Two weeks into my Galaxy S23 experince. It may appear small in screen size compared to S23+ and S22 Ultra offerings but after a while it grows on you and is enough to do all smart things we do. It is fast & perfect for someone looking for a one hand operational smart phone. Previously had the S21 and although it was a touch bigger screen I welcome the S23 decrease in size for this one hand purpose. It does weigh a touch more than it looks in size but this is because of the quality glass screen technology it is now built with and you feel the difference in every touch. I feel like the battery is optimised to last more than expected. An improved all round upgrade for me. 5 stars.

I'm only 2 weeks in with the Samsung Galaxy S23 and my thoughts so far? Well it's a good Sideways Device, what I mean by that is my previous device is a Galaxy S20 and the S23 doesn't really feel like an upgrade, more of a Sidestep into something similar, not better, not worse, but just as comfortable. The camera quality is great, I really like the new flat panel display and the slightly wider grip, but again, because this doesn't perform any better than an S20, but still has the premium price tag I can't recommend this device for any other reason than you're looking for something smaller, or your current Device is ready to kick the bucket and you need to sidestep into some else.

Bought this a week ago and haven't had a second thought back. Coming from my s21 FE, I thought the smaller screen size would largely impact my experience, but it actually had improved it significantly, allowing me to easily be able to access what I need at the top of my phone without readjusting my hand or using both hands. Also the performance is just amazing for general use, gaming and for taking photos/videos, with the new processor I was able to take breathtaking photos, and beautiful 8K video in 30FPS, nighttime photography was awesome too and I still can't get enough of it. I highly recommend it!

I had a Google Pixel and the battery reader failed. I spent a lot of money and was without the phone for months trying to get it fixed. In the meantime I used my son's old Samsung. So compared to the Pixel and the old Samsung, this S23 is excellent. All the old Samsung functions and the way it runs have been improved and updated, so the transition was very easy and smooth, there were no massive changes to try and cope with, I was able to transfer all my photos, apps, etc in a few minutes off both the old phones so no major dramas reloading/re-uploading everything. It was pretty much seamless and I was back functioning straight away. Samsung have done an excellent job in making it easy.

It's a phone and I can't make a call most of the time or if I can it's usually drops off and disconnects or is so annoying to the other person that they just say "forget about it" breaking up too much and can't understand what I'm saying. Samsung tech help told me a couple of things to do which fixed nothing and then eventually told me to contact the service provider. My previous 7 year old phone stills works and at least I can make a call with it. Audio is also very poor on the S23 so all I can say is what a waste of $1300. Will get a refund and try something else as it's not fit for purpose.

Got this as a replacement for my S20FE which broke on the job. Thinking being the latest model I'd be blown away by features, speed or look. To be honest I could very easily be using my old S20FE. Fingerprint scanner doesn't work with my print most of the time. To be fair though the s20fe was the same. Camera quality seems comparable. Display looks nice but no noticeable difference to my previous phone. For the price I would have assumed this phone would be a huge step up. I've been Googling tips and tricks to try see what I am missing, but think it just a standard phone nothing special.

I've only had the S23-256Gig for just over a week, I have already noticed the screen is brighter and seemingly sharper than my overseas (Verizon) S22, and obviously my Telstra S21 which I passed onto my son. Battery life is much better than my S21, as I can't compare the S23 with the S22 until my next trip overseas. Processing speed with my usual Apps does seem faster. Only issue of note is that I have is the S23 Samsung Case is not as useful or featured as the S22 Smart LED Cover. The open window of the S23 cover allows a bit of dust build up on the surround and exposed part of the S23 screen. I really do prefer the size of the S23 versus the Plus and Ultra and this phone does all I need.

I bought my new s23 recently and did smart switch. All ready to go.in 30 minutes. I had a note 9 and because I do everything on my phone I needed to update. Opted for the smaller phone as I am 71 and have arthritis in my hands. I am a smasung user always have been always will be. They are reliable and so easy to use for anyone. My friends have other brands and are always complaining that their phone doesn't work properly. I use mine for banking booking holidays everything I even print documents from phone. Just had legal things I had to sign and email off no problem. I always tell everybody.if you want a reliable easy to use phone get a samsung I also have a samsung tablet which is great as well.

I had to select the S23 as there was no option for S24 to select . I recently brought the S24 in 256GB storage size in Marble grey color as a present for my dad who is in India. As an international student this was a first gift for my parents from myself. To start with the design : the color is absolutely stunning with slim body . Due to its light weight and compact size it’s easy to carry. The second main reason is affordability with respect to the features the product is quite affordable and pocket friendly. Third is the brilliant camera quality and the AI feature. I would truly recommend this product to everyone in my family and friends. Looking forward to build a Samsung ecosystem soon for my dad.

I've been using the galaxy models phones for a number of years and S23 is a very good model. I moved from the S20FE model and am very happy with the base model of the S23's. Photos are amazing which is the real drawcard plus I'm very happy with the smaller size . It's not different from the S23 in terms of features, with nothing really blowing me away in terms of new technologies. I'm also pretty annoyed with the battery life, which seems to drop about 30% after about 2 hours of light usage, but this seems to be isolated to myself. I might need to give my phone some more time for the adapartive battery to learn from my usage to get more out of my phone. But ultimately it's a great, consistent phone.

I did a few month of homework before swapping from S21 ultra to this one, love the size and the weight of it, the phone stays really cool compare to my S21 Ultra which heats up a bit. at first I was worried about the battery life of a smaller phone, but after using it, I found I often have more battery left than my S21 ultra. If you're like me and is sick of heavy and large phones that just drag down your pants when you're running, then this is the one! The camera bump is also smaller, and if you put a Dbrand skin on it, you can hardly feel the bump, stays almost flat on the table.

My S20 needed replacing and the new S23 series were about to be released so it was great timing. I didn't want a bigger sized phone and the S23 is the same size as my S20. Used SmartSwitch to transfer everything across so it was pretty simple. Photos are great, a huge choice of everything - I am still learning my way around the phone - what benefits and what can be done. I am a bit slow technology wise, but love this phone. Perfect for my needs. Another quality product from Samsung that should last me a few more years. Battery life is even better too which was an added bonus!

I'm over the moon with my Samsung galaxy s23, battery life is fantastic! It runs smoothly, I haven't had any issues apart from the finger print sensor doesn't always read my finger print. The camera is perfect, the photos I'm getting are professional looking & I'm able to take macro shots that are beautifully clear. Everyday I find another new feature that makes me love this phone even more. Set this phone up with your galaxy watch & you're all set with everything at your fingertips. It's a good size to, fits in my jeans pocket but isn't too small. Well done Samsung! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is my first foray into android for a long while and I am honestly so impressed. So many fun features packed into this device. The camera is excellent and the transition across platforms has been a lot smoother than I anticipated. The battery gives me an impressive two + days between charges (with moderate use). The design of the phone is sleek and balances size and portability. The customisability of the themes and ease of use are like nothing else I've tried. Dex is the most underrated feature out there! This is quite possible the best small phone available at the moment.

I bought this phone a month ago and at the same time my mother bought an iphone 14, and all she has had to deal with are problems and i have been smooth sailing with no major issues. This is my first android phone as i transferred from my old Iphone and it was the best decision i have ever made. The 120hz display is beautiful, and going back to the crappy 60hz on the iphone 14 has been extremely painful, these phones costed the same amount of money and yet are so far apart. If you are torn between getting an iphone or a samsung, get a samsung lol they are infinitely better

I have been a Google/Pixel user for years, but after continued frustration with a few basic items of my Pixel 7 I decided to try the Galaxy S23. Well what a difference!! Fantastic battery life Outstanding screen Plenty of processing power Excellent fingerprint sensor and face recognition. A perfect size for my pockets. It is an absolute joy to use, there is nothing really negative I have to say other than the low light photos are not quite as good as the Pixel 7 but that is a minor complaint. It's a great phone with all the features I want. Thanks Samsung!

I've had this phone for a few weeks now and love it. I hate getting knew phones and had owned a Galaxy S8 for nearly the past 6 years, if finally died and I needed a replacement. Considering I often have the same phone for a long time, I got the latest. I didn't get the S23 Ultra because it's a bit too big for my liking. Transferring my data from one phone was a breeze, using my Google and Samsung accounts. The camera is incredible and I've been having fun taking pictures at 0.6x zoom. The fingerprint and face recognition work great and the phone performs very quickly!

I've never owned any other phone except Samsung. I find the operation super easy and slide text was a game charger for me from the start. The new s23 is just the right size and I really love the styling and feel. I've never owned a Samsung phone I haven't loved and the s23 is no exception. The only disappointment is not supplying a power brick with the phone as they did in the past. This is especially the case now charging is no longer with the USB connection. Other than that I'm extremely happy and am constantly recommending Samsung phones to friends and family.

Got this phone recently, always love my Androids but wanted something smaller with my last phone so went to a Googke Pixel, now I have found a Samsung that is not too big but still packed with awesome features!! Great network service and easy to use Android operating system. So glad that I decided to go back to the S23, love the swipe feature for changing screens instead of the home or back buttons.. really recommend this phone as it is simple to understand and operate, looks great, isn't too big but it's still big enough, and appears so far to be quite durable!!

I purchased a lavender S23 about 2 weeks ago. Over I really enjoy the phones features. The picture quality is amazing and the functionality is great. The phone UI is really intuitive and easy to learn as a 49 year young lady. But when I make calls the person who I call has trouble hearing me, they say my voice is crackling and if I use speaker it is the same thing so every call they say they can't understand me and will talk to me later. I am still trying to trouble shoot the issue, but over all the phone is very easy and enjoyable to use, just not to make calls.

I bought my Samsung S23 last week after 5 years of owning an Oppo. And I must say, that was the best decision I've made by far! The speaker is on point, the camera quality is out of this world, it fits perfectly in my hand, the features and quality is perfect, easy to type messages, easy to navigate & overall the best phone I've had. I have and will continue to recommend this to friends, family & anyone else I come across. Overall 10/10 and I will be upgrading to the S23 Ultra ASAP. I'm one very happy customer! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!

I upgraded from an s10. S10 cameras were more stable, take clearer pictures, better quality live picture. S23 cannot handle the slightest low light or movement. Im also having connectivity issues with both 4g and 5g in areas where my s10 had no problems. The phone struggles switching between wifi and mobile data and i often have to restart the phone. The purple is nice but ny s10 pearl looks and feels better to hold, honestly, the switch from curved side to flat edge makes this handset feel like an old iphone 4. Regretful upgrade feels like a downgrade.

I've had my new Samsung S23 for just under a month and I'm in love with it. The shape and size of the phone is greatly improved from the S21 I had, the screen is crystal clear, sharp and so vivid. The camera is unreal! I took a photo in a low light setting at night and I can't believe how focused and clean the shot looked. I also took a video of a plane propeller and its so smooth, where as on my old phone it would appear pixelated and grainy. I'm so so pleased with the new S23, it's so sleek and beautiful that it's actually a shame to put a case on it!

i firstly chose this phone rather than others as i need the typing for my native language from the stock samsung keyboard. but after using it the phone surprised me with tons of features such as cameras, connectivity and settings. although in love with it, i still suggest Samsung to make some improvements such as battery life, more customisations for OneUI Home. I also need the "live caption" feature to be embeded in calls to see what the caller says because many times I couldn't clearly hear that. I don't like the round corners. Despite that overal 5*

I've only had my new phone for a week and am getting used to it still; setting it up to suit myself. I like the side shelf but it took me a while to start using it. I recommend watching some videos about the cool features available in the camera which I still have to try. I haven't had a Samsung for a while and there is so much to learn here but I know I'm going to enjoy doing so. My only criticism is that the navigation keys are on the opposite side to what I've been used to for years so it's taking a lot of effort to remember which side to press.

I bought this phone a dew days ago, and it's performance and camera quality have been amazing. The phone has been very quick in day to day use. Even in games it has been very fast. The camera has been crisp and captured lifelike pictures with accurate colours and high dynamic range in photos and videos captured. Further, modes of the camera like super slow motion have been very fun to use. The battery life of the phone is good overall, easily lasting a day with moderate use. The design of the phone is sleek and nice with a good build quality due to the use of high quality materials like gorilla glass victus and armour aluminium. Finally, the software is amazing, with amazing ecosystem features. So overall it is a great all rounder phone

The Samsung S23 is the phone I've been waiting for. Here's why I love it: - The perfect size - it fits in my pocket easily but screen size is maximised. - Amazing screen - even in bright daylight, it's extremely easy to see. Clarity and resolution look great as well. - Great battery life - after a full day's use, there's still plenty of power left (Note: I spend 3+ hours commuting on public transport playing games, and movies/TV each day) - Connectivity - I can use my phone as a touchpad for my monitors at work using Dex, can share my screen easily, and can even control the air purifier! - Camera - astrophotography RAW mode is awesome! - Stability - everything just works, and works fast! Oh, and it also receives/makes phone calls.

I have mixed feelings about the new phone. The size, screen clarity and finish of the device is good, but it's incompatibility with some of my favourite apps is disappointing. Tech companies bang on about being environmentally conscious, but by failing to support backward compatibility, they are on the forefront of making many perfectly functional devices obsolete and destined for landfill. The failure of my phone to support apps that I use to control a number of other devices (that otherwise work fine) is a major disappointment. Being on the "Cutting edge" shouldn't be at the expense of "playing nice with the other kids"! Not a fan of the invasive push towards leveraging of my personal information, which also seems to pervade this device.

When I ordered the online special colour lime on the website, I still thought that the colour could be really bad to be honest. I had only seen the phone with this colour on the YT not in real life. For the last a few weeks I was waiting my phone to be manufactured and delivered, and thought if it turns out the ugly side of greenish colour, I would simply use a cover to hide its backside. When I finally got the delivery and opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised. It is the most beautiful phone I ever had and the colour is so subtle and soft almost creamy, not possibly-obnoxious lime green. There is nothing you can complain in terms of its specifications as a most up-to-date smartphone. Overall, great phone with beautiful design.

My previous phones are around 6.6 inch so i'm biased but the s23 feels really small in the hand. It would've been better to put a bigger battery so it will feel solid in your hand. The phone has short battery life and i can't even go through 1 day without charging twice. It also heats up a lot especially in a case which could be due to the phone size. This is why i believe the plus version will be a better option for most people. Another major con with Samsung phones is fingerprint unlock won't work 50% of the time with screen protectors.

I purchased the new S23 in the lovely lavender colour and got a screen projector, back cover, USBC wall fast charger, car charger & a wireless charger all for free. Yet another marvellous Samsung mobile! The folk at Geelong Telstra Business Technology Centre were professional, accommodating and helpful with getting the new phone set up perfectly. Thank you for the seemless transaction :) The S23 is just the right size for my smaller hands and has all the bells and whistles included. The Samsung S23 is all it's purported to be.

Coming from oppo x5 pro and that phone is better then the s23. That phone is 2 years old. Had a lot samsung phones over the years of which the s8 and s10 and note 10 were good model.. The s10 felt premium for its time and s8. Since the s10 there is nothing I like about the new samung phones. Bought a s21 a few yrs back to upgrade from the s10 and I preffered the s10. Sold the s21 straight away and went back to the 10. Got the s23 hoping that there would be improvements but left disappointed in all areas etc the charge time no charger in the box . Looking at the reviews the Australian market did not get the snapdragon which appears better. It's pretty clear if you want a samsung probably going to have to to the ultra to get the premium feel.

Thanks Samsung for the new toy. The eSIM feature to receive 2 number's calls on one device is why I got the phone, but the feel of it is a perfect size for my palm. The intermittent issues with Gpay I experienced with my last phone have been overcome. Some things have taken a little bit to get used to, like the button reconfiguration and the on screen finger print security ... but over all, I am loving my s23! Ps thanks soooo much for the $300 voucher... new Samsung ear buds, case and a screen protector for free was a lovely gift!

I am into my second week of owner ship of my S23 and I am impressed. Its as to be expected from Samsung. They have produced a great little bit of kit here and I am having hassles finding a fault with it. I was looking at the S23fe it was $300 cheaper!!! But due to my reasoning of having to upgrade and retire the old S20fe (broken screen) urrgh.. the extra strong screen is the reason I went this the S23 over the cheaper yet tiny bit bigger S23fe was desirable especially300 cheaper! I'm just hoping with the S24 dur in January that I haven't jumped the gun and see the prices of these S23 crash next year. So in a nutshell love the device hate the price but you get what you pay for. Thanks Samsung for meeting my expectations with yet another quality product. ;)

I recently bought this phone and I am so happy with everything about it. The size is perfect, the screen is so clear and smooth. The camera is absolutely incredible, I and all my friends are blown away by the quality, the night feature is so good and the fact that there is a choice to use the camera features manually is just so cool. The phone itself feels sturdy and great quality. The colour of the phone (I bought the lavender one) is so pretty. The sound quality is amazing and the battery is just so good, I have been able to use it all day without it running out of battery which is an amazing change from my old phone. Overall, I couldn't be happier about my purchase of this phone, the phone is incredible. I recommend it to anyone who wants to buy a new phone!

I bought this product as pre-order promotion. My previous S8 was good enough for my work. All my friends use iPhone and they asked me to buy iPhone. However, I always find Galaxy OS was more convenient for me to use. I did not hesitate to buy Galaxy S23 when they started pre-order. I have been using the phone for 2 weeks now and I am more than happy to explore new features day by day. Only one concern with me is that I sometimes feel my phone gets too warm. I think I need to bring my phone to Samsung for just checking.

My A8 was perfect but got it wet Jetskiing on Cup day. l have been using the S23 since 9 November. Nine days in total. l have found it to be a bit slow and tedious with smaller print than the A8. It was very time consuming to set up with Apps that l had on the A8. l lost all my contacts and photos from the A8 because it would not turn on after water got in. When l purchased the A8 l was led to believe it was waterproof. Not so. l managed to get 5 years and 9 months out of the A8. l was also very happy with the A8. l expected the S23 to be quicker and more efficient. NOT SO. Not very happy after signing a 3 year contract to pay it off with the monthly Optus bill. And paying close to $1,400 for the A23. LUCKY l have Good reading glasses from Specsavers!

Don't normally write reviews but this has to be said. I've had many phones over the years all Samsung's but this S23 just has to be the best. For an 80 year old like me I'm continually amazed what it can do. The ease with what I can do things now including the larger key board makes my life some much easier. It's my constant companion now and has really changed my life for the better. If someone like me at 80 years old can benefit from all the features I urge everyone to get one I guarantee you want be disappointed

This new S23 upgrade from the S10 has been nothing but a pleasure. Great design and screen size for my needs along with good sound for speaker phone and music. I use my phone alot for work and video content and i have to admit the battery life is just awesome. Processor and phone reaction time great also. My last S10 had the capability for the additional SD card and whislt this new model does not its has the 3 varieties to choose from with large storage space. Product 10/10 for me personally. Matt

I bought mine a week ago and it's been a relatively smooth transition over to the latest batch of Galaxy phones. The camera is glorious improvement and the night mode is really very good. I mourn the loss of the headphone jack, but the Buds2 seem to work well enough. It's a solid phone and the processing speed is nice. The screen extending above and around the selfie camera was unusual if you're not used to it, but the display is clear and crisp. I haven't noticed any overheating as yet and it charges well.

After tossing between this and the new iphone, I'm really glad I got chose this. After using the the S20 for the past few years I knew that I'd feel limited using apple again. Obviously a huge upgrade from my phone, love the premium build and there's endless things to explore on it. The thing I'll miss though is the sd card slot which the S20 was the last model to utilise I think. There seems to be plenty of cloud storage options so its not difficult to transition to. Just a slightly bittersweet farewell.

I received my Samsung S23 just over a week ago now and I couldn't be happier, I love the colour the Lavendar I chose, it's so pretty. The phone works so well, I didn't realise how many problems I had with my old phone until I got this one. I love the selfie function where you put your palm up for it to take a pic. The phone is the perfect size, sound is great as I don't feel I need the volume as loud as the quality is so clear. I'm still discovering all the great features but I would highly recommend.

I bought this phone after having my S20 FE since launch and I absolutely love this phone. I love the camera system! The star trails feature on the camera is incredible and I've been taking up photography since! The battery system is very good and can last me at a day and a half, depending on how much I use it. Whilst the battery capacity isn't huge, the efficiency of the processor makes the battery life really good and consistent. It's definitely a great phone, great size and well built.

Always loved Samsung products but when I upgraded my S20FE, I bought the S23 I have been dissatisfied. The volume of voices on phone calls is very low making it difficult to hear. Also when I take photos they are very blurry, especially on faces in distance photos and when sending pictures via text. Really thought an upgrade was supposed to improve the performance and quality. Don't get me wrong it is a nice phone with a few minor issues. Maybe it's just a settings adjustment needed on my end.

I have had my s23 for over 2 weeks now and has got be the best purchase I have made when buying a mobile phone. The size of the phone fits perfectly in my hand and disappears in my pocket, very smooth when navigating the operating system and fast, the 50 mp camera does its job and more especially loving the nightography and not having to use the flashlight when taking pics, overall I give this phone a solid 9/10 the only downfall is my fat fingers pressing too many buttons at the same time.

Good responsive phone, hardware is good. Photo quality compares quite favourably to other phones when I did side by side photos and zoomed in. Charges very fast, battery lasts the full day and doesn't get too hot, so lots of good points, but a letdown is the Samsung bloatware that can't be uninstalled including: Bixby - I prever Google's voice assistant and am not going to start using Bixby because it's forced upon me. I also have zero interest in Galaxy Store or Samsung Pass, but unfortunately, none of these apps can be uninstalled. I also use Google Photos and Google Contacts, but can't remove the Samsung versions of the same. It is a pity that on an otherwise great phone, Samsung has made the bad decision to enforce unwanted apps on devices with no uninstall option. Leaves a bad taste.

I have just switched from Apple to Samsung for the first time in 6 years. The transition was really easy. I love the camera and how I can change things around. I think there is a few things ios do e way better the text msg feature is way better on ios. The ability to send pictures and videos is way better on ios. But the s23 feels like a much smother phone to operate then an ios device. Even with the things I dislike listed above I would still recommend this phone for people to try

I have been looking forward to upgrading to the S23 Ultra for some time. I have been researching & watching YouTube videos on the many useful features that come with this upgrade. The look, feel & touch of this phone simply ooze quality & luxury, it is a beast, so fast, precise & it is a pleasure to handle it. I love the lavender colour as it stands out from the rest. There are so many rich features too numerous to mention but in particular the camera is one of my favourites as I have a history in photography & now own the most intelligent camera in the world ever placed in a smartphone. It is staggering & has many new powerful tools. It takes excellent images, so sharp & precise. I would recommend this phone to anyone that wants the best & the build is of a very high quality. Well done Samsung.

I was always an Android phone user until my work gave everyone an iPhone. It was only last week that I decided to revert back to an Android phone and choose the S23. All I can say, is that I should have done it a lot earlier. This phone was a breeze to setup and runs flawlessly with all my apps. I especially like the weight and size of the phone as it now fits into the wireless charging cradle in my new car. My son liked this phone so much I have also purchased one for him as well.

I upgraded to my new S23 and delighted with it! I've had it for a week now and easily adjusted to all it has to offer. It is beautiful to touch, responsive and has a great camera and visuals - also fast processing in all respects. The apps are simple to apply and useful. It appears this design has been well thought out - as most of the Samsung products are... I have other Samsung products that have been enduring, brilliant and clever and they've done it again with this phone :)

Great phone so far. Just as user friendly and reliable as my previous S22. Battery life is a bit better as is camera, and android auto functionality seems to have been updated too. I had to buy a replacement phone after my S22 was stolen and it seemed sillyget another S22 when I could get the S23 for a very similar price. Can't say I would have been buying a new phone otherwise as the S22 was still working perfectly well. I'm sure the S23 will demonstrate the same longevity.

Have only had it a week and love it upgraded from the S21, Disappointing that is smaller than my S21 and that you have added S23+ which is really the sizing of the old S21 Standard am assuming that is to make more cash also disappointed that I can no longer use a different notification sound for emails and txt msg. Lastly it is so hard to get Samsung original USB cables especially fr use in the car. OVER ALL AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY SAMSUNG THIS IS MY 5TH SAMSUNG IN 10 YEARS.

I was using Samsung Note now I change to Galaxy S23 5G. Unfortunately not quite satisfied. Heavy not so slim. Camera better ok feather not much better. No pen , Samsung message and google message makes confusion not good.in Samsung message on side red dot shows unread else hard to find it unread new message or old message. Ring tone boring. All same others. Read notification on Samsung message does not show. Where as in Samsung Note message use to show read notification.

Only thing I don't like about the new s22 is the location of the volume buttons and the power button is no longer the power button! You have to turn the phone on its side to do a screenshot,so the button location makes no sense in that respect! And the same to turn the phone off!! Very confusing! But other than that...the features are not much different to older versions! But still a good phone and will continue to buy Samsung's as I have for the past 10 years or more

This is my third Samsung Galaxt phone. I upgraded to a Samsung S8 from an iPhone in 2017 and have not looked back. With that said the S8 was a nice phone, my next phone the S20 Ultra was great however the size, poor autofocus and Exynos chipset held it back from greatness. The S23 is perfect. Perfect size, fits in the hand great, the Snapdragon SGen 2 chip is incredibly fast and efficient. I normally come home from work (at 7pm) with 50% battery and I listen to podcast and watch YouTube on the way to work and at the gym. The fact this has a telephoto camera means a lot and was the reason I got thos instead of a Pixel 7 or Asus zenphone. The One UI software gets better every year and while not perfect the level of customisation you can make with Goodluck really helps. I have no regrets. Would highly recommend.

Was a bit sceptical about upgrading from S21 to S23 as I was told the changes are minimal between them. Well, i am pleasantly surprise that the S23 is so much better than the old phone in terms of screen brightness (drastic improvement in bright day light) and everything just feels smoother and faster now. Camera is good although I must admit I am not a into Instagram or Facebook or videos. In any case, i think it is a solid upgrade and no regrets upgrading the phone

I bought as my S10 was 5 years old. It was still great but as going overseas needed more storage & better camera. And the S23 is amazing. The transfer from one phone to other was seamless and my S23 was St like my S10 was so looked exactly the same & therefore easy to use. The camera takes clear, professional looking photos. And International Roaming was automatically available for when I land overseas. Technology has advanced so much from S10 to S23. Love my S23.

This little Galaxy A23 phone is a godsend. I have had many phones over the years, bit this one is seamless. So many ways to use the A23 from talking to family and friends, the ability to send messages at any time and fun games when you are just sick of talking and listening to others. I opted for a green back, so that I can always locate it. Much better than those black covers, that you can never find as they lay under your bed. Simple and perfect Galaxy S23.

I've always wanted a powerful and advanced phone but not having it any larger than 6.1 inch. This year they made the standard version of this series equal or at least on par with the Plus size version. only the battery and standard base memory were the difference. In the future I would want the standard size version of the new series be exactly the same quality and power as its ultra counterparts bar the size which is the main reason I purchased this one.

Recently upgraded from an older model and couldn't be happier with the new product. It arrived quickly and has heaps of storage, impressive graphics, incredible camera quality, and superfast operating speeds. Transferring the data and settings from my old phone was easy and the battery life on the new phone is excellent: even watching videos and playing games it can last all day. Plus the phone's exterior is beautiful. Can't recommend the S23 highly enough!

Bought myself a 256GB Galaxy S23 a few weeks ago, and this phone has been nothing but a powerhouse. Upgraded from a Galaxy S10 which I had use for 4 year, a fast phone in itself, but the S23 is miles ahead. Using this phone has been pure bliss, super fast and fluid with its 120Hz display. The camera is also significantly better with low light shots that have well and truly exceeded my expectations. All in all a very well manufactured piece of tech.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 is an excellent mobile phone. It offers just about everything you could ask for in a market where the trend is to go big at all costs. I never had to wonder what the plus or ultra has to offer as this one has ticked all the boxes for me. It's deeply refreshing. I'm sick of small devices being a performance-compromising choice. The S23 doesn't ask you to do that, proving that powerful things can come in small packages.

So far so good. I've upgraded, still within the Samsung galaxy family and found that transferring old to new was quick and easy, everything right down to my morning alarm being set and ready to go, I'm impressed. I've been playing around with usual different apps, everything is in order. I need more time with the camera but it's looking great so far, very clear and easy to use. The sound is also crisp. Face doesn't match. Fingerprint doesn't match. That's what I see all day. Each one takes a few tries every time I want to unlock my phone. I miss the old reliable fingerprint sensors rather than the on screen ones. Apart from that issue it's a decent phone. The battery life is amazing. The screen clarity is good. The size is great - one of the smallest smart phones on the market. Camera is okay. The size was main selling point for me.

Bought it a week ago as an upgrade from the S10 and gotta say that the S10 is tough to beat. Besides the updated software. It doesn't surpass the features S10 has to offer like expandable SD card samsung health heart sensor. I was mostly expecting a camera upgrade to the S23 but a little underwhelmed alongside nightography. I find that the image is less sharp and unnecessarily smoothed out. Still I'd say it's a good option in 2024.

I dislike having to upgrade due to lack of security updates, because I don't want a huge phone with a bunch of features I don't use. However this is the same size as the s10e I was replacing, which made me very happy. I was able to easily to transfer everything and just keep on using it, set up the same as I had before, without having to get to know a whole new phone. Only things I miss are expanding storage and an earphone jack.

I have never been disappointed with the Samsung although thr security and inability to pick up on old email accounts through what phones u have owned is poor. They are not as indestructible as they used to be either...dropped once or hit in the wrong place in the screen and I lost an entire phone. Cost me a fortune to get fixed and insurance wouldn't cover it. New features need to be taught as soon as u boot up a new phone.

Have had the phone for about 3 weeks and so far features are as expected. Couple of things I'm missing from the older models: the LED notification light, the headphone jack and the ability to extend the storage using a micro SD card. Lastly, my personal preference is a small smartphone, so while the S23 isn't as big as the Plus or Ultra, it's still quite large. Otherwise it ticks most of the boxes when looking for a new phone.

Well it was time for an upgrade. Don't know about you but I go into a pure panic meltdown. Thethiught if setting up a new phone is overwhelming. So much to loose, so much to do. Worry no more. Swapping to your new phone is seamless, easy and so improved. Honestly there was not much left to do. I went to the Samsung shop near me. The staff were brilliant and made it so easy. So all set I head home, realising I still need to connect to the car and a few other things. Once again, no problems it does most of it for you, instructions are clear. I felt so proud of myself. The phone itself does not seem much different, a few tweaks here and there, easier to use find and set up though. The camera and gallery app however, wow. Absolutely amazing. Pleasant surprise. So if your like me and usually thing why bother with an upgrade I say why not. Give it a go.

I received my S23 only three days after purchasing (two weeks earlier than expected) and it made my day. I was impressed with the colour choices and struggled to choose a favourite but settled on lilac and I love it! I went to a concert the next day and the camera quality for photos and videos is insanely good. I was able to zoom in so far, it looked like I was at the front. I'm a huge Samsung fan. I was replacing a previous model of Galaxy that died. My first impression is that it is a great phone and was easy to set up. I don't like that the home and back buttons are on the screen and not the device it makes it hard when playing games to exit. The Samsung written on the back is hardly noticeable. Does NOT come with a phone charger when paying $2200 I expect a charger. The removal of the headphone jack is huge mistake

After my much loved s9 battery started to fail after many years of faithful service I just had to buy another Samsung. The s23 ticked all the boxes for me and I am so glad I did the research. Full of features, but still of a usable size, it fits perfectly into my hand and does not feel cumbersome in my pocket. Transfer of my data was easy over Wifi, so that after an hour my new phone was ready to use. An excellent model.

I bought the S23 a month ago to replace my aging S20 FE. The size is very pocketable, the screen is great quality and there are some cool colour choices. Bluetooth connectivity is quick, and the phone never feels sluggish. Everything is working as expected, and switching from my old device was seamless as my data was re-synced from the cloud. Battery life is as I would expect and per the reviews you see online.

This is an awesome phone even after 2 years. I recently just bought the S25+ but to be honest I know for sure that I can use my S23 for another year. After 2 years of use I can seen the battery loosing power a bit faster but thats a small issue. The phone lasts me all day on standby. The camera in on S23 is something else. Mix it with the powers of Lightroom, you have amazing photos. Overall a great phone even in 2025.

I bought this new S23 a week ago and found the display and fast charging features really good. I was an iPhone user and have to say I do find the photos/video/videocall quality better with iPhone. Also, there's so much cost associated with getting adaptors (for charger, data transfer, connecting with plugged earphones/headset). I wish there were fewer adaptors required, given how much the phone itself already cost me.

Good so far - only early days! Smaller than the previous which is awesome. I cannot stand having to hold a small iPad as a phone and use it - impossible unless you have mits like an NBL superstar (which I don't). Very similar set out and super easy to transfer from the older S20FE. Camera is good, but it always was. Good value to date, hence staying with Samsung as opposed to the pricey fruit you can buy elsewhere.

Amazing display and quick processor. The only thing for me was that I was used to my Galaxy Note 9 and I kept resting my palm on the corner of the screen that ends up touching the microphone button. Just have to get used to a smaller phone now - but I love that I can now type with one hand unlike before! Still need a bit more time to explore the other features. Bought this almost half price with all the discounts!

Coming from an s21 I honestly didn't think I would be that impressed by this year's galaxy. The moment I picked the phone up, I could tell this was the most premium iteration of the galaxy series yet. The camera array on the s23 is one of the most enjoyable to use since the s10 and the screen screen to body ratio feels like the biggest leap since the s10 aswell. Really satisfied and overall impressed with my s23.

After leaving the Samsung family for Huawei and Pixel phones I have come back to the s23. It's a clear standout from my previous pixel 6. Battery life is impressive and easily lasts a day at work with moderate usage. The speed of opening applications is 25-30% quicker than my pixel 6 and the size of the phone is big enough to watch shows/stream sport and use with one hand unlike the bigger versions. Great phone.

I recently upgraded from my S10 to the S23. Wasn't sure whether to go with the S23 or S23+. Glad I went with the S23, feels just the right size and fits in my hands perfectly....texting/emailing is fast and just feels good (S10 felt a bit awkward to hold). Love the new camera features. Overall feels familiar but with some welcome additions and upgrades that aren't gimmicky (temporary mute is a great addition)

I bought it a few months ago but only starting to use it recently as my old Samsung was still functioning very well. However, as I soon discover that the new one is NOT as crashed hot as advertised. Firstly, the time kept going off despite me adjusting it in the Setting. The camera quality is about the same as my old one (9+), Battery life needs charging after 24hrs although I was not using it that much etc...
