I am absolutely shocked with how much the improvement was moving to the 8 Ultra. Of all the upgrades the crease really blows me away. I don't understand how samsung does it. It is thinner. Crease is non-existent. It's as snappy as ever. The green color could not have been a better choice. Perfection.

I had the first generation and the third, fifth, and seventh. I can unequivocally state that the 8 Ultra is what us foldies have been asking for. The display is sharper that previous models and it runs anything I throw at it. Gaming, AI, Google Sheets, 3 bank apps at once; you name it I've tried it. The camera is wonderful and am glad I can trust it to take amazing pictures. The thinness makes this feel like I am using a regular brick phone but expandable! In my research for the next perfect phone, I came close to purchasing something outside of the Samsung ecosystem, something international, and something completely different. However, with the deals, the bundle, and the specs, I ultimately got the Z Fold 8 Ultra. I highly recommend the Fold 8 and S26 Ultra, but for my lifestyle, nothing works better for me than the Z Fold 8 Ultra. What I'm trying to say is that this new phone is completely another level—the feel in your hand, its lightweight, thin design, and everything else. Do your research, find the right phone, and enjoy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even when many might think that is "just another yearly upgrade", it is impresive what Samsung as a brand can actually achieve on a span of a year when it comes to improving their products, making it so it feels like a completely different experience from the Fold 7 to the Fold 8 Ultra. It is my 4th upgrade in a row, starting from the Fold 5 and now a days it feels pretty much impossible to me go back to a regular one-screened format phone, not to even think of changing to another brand. The titanium layer is definitely a great feature while keeping the device SO thin thanks to the silicon carbon battery. Definitely best foldable so far, hands down.

I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me. From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens. I chose the violet shadow color which I absolutely love. It's dark and now too flashy, perfect for my taste. I just love the phone!

I love the Fold 8 Ultra. Feels so premium. Its a big difference when upgraded from Fold 6. Such a productive device. Wish they had the s pen capabilities as well. Battery holds up pretty good. And love the new hing and display. Non reflective inner display is so good. New hinge gives you that confident on its durability. Fyi: phone may take couple days to look into the pattern of your lifestyle to analyse the battery usage,so the performance may be slow for that tine period. Once the analysis is completed, its super responsive and perform pretty. Super excited with this one.

They have lessened the crease, put better cameras in and it comes with the latest android software. I have been a Fold user since the Fold 3 and I don't see myself going back. I use the multitasking split screen feature almost everyday. The phone is buttery smooth and feels like a normal candy bar phone when Folded. I am really enjoying my experience with this phone and I'm still learning how to take and edit pictures in a more creative way. The new edit feature that allows you to edit photos and video along with the new filters allow you to create some really cool looking media.

However when i look at the unfolded screen I get a big smile on my face. The screen is beautiful. I love how when navigating different it splits the open apps and the available apps on different sides of the screen. I just received it and am in love with it. Easy to grab and has a nice snap feel. The only reason I didnt grab the last year model was because of the battery and the fast charge capability. But now this new phone has 45 watt charge speed and 5000 mAh, just like the S26 ultra. And they werent lying about the improvements they made to the inner screen. You can barely see the crease and it has anti reflection on it too. Being able to also multi-task with google and notes is amazing. I will be sticking with this phone for as long as I can.

So far the experience has been great. Still trying to get used to the small front screen (compared to the 24U) and doing more mult app tasks. There is a learning curve to use the big inner screen. The phone is very slim, even with a case, it is almost the same size as the 24U. Battery life is great, as good as my 24U. Gaming is beautiful. Pair with a mobile controller (like a Gamesir G8+) you got a great handheld device. Great job Samsung. Keep improving the fold line and there will be a lot more customers switching from IOS to Android.

When it arrived, I was FLOORED by how light and how thin it is! I also REALLY like the way it opens, with almost a snap, and the crease is BARELY there! I'm extremely happy with how bright it is, how quick it charges, and let's face it, it's a conversation starter as well! I chose the Violet Shadow and it's a BEAUTIFUL color. With 1 Terabyte of space, I expect to be able to take a TON of images, and they are sure to be beautiful consider it's a 200 megapixels! This is the BEST foldable there is, hands down! Samsung does it again!

I chose to upgrade because the size, battery, and internals were all major upgrades and I couldn't be happier. I mainly watch videos on my phone but with the new cameras I am excited to be able to take much better and high quality photos. I was blown away by the difference in weight and thickness of the phone and how much nicer it is it have a more traditional sized screen comparable to other candy bar phones while still being able to use the internal screen. I chose the Fold Ultra 8 for my newer version, and it is a wonderful product. It has the same basic features as the 6, but with great improvements. The phone is thinner, lighter, has a bigger screen, and new features. I have enjoyed working more with Gemini to accomplish a few tasks quicker and can't wait to spend a little more time exploring. There are some new features with photos, circle and search, and many AI features. I highly recommend any Z series Fold, but especially the Ultra 8.

The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

I preordered this phone the day preorders opened, and my gosh I am happy that I did. The Z Fold 8 Ultra is so extremely thin that its just the size of a normal phone when folded, and unfolded becomes extremely easy to hold. Even with the thin body, Samsung did not skimp out on battery size or the processor speed. It has one of the longest battery lives I've had on a phone in a while. The anti reflective coating on the inner display makes it so easy to view in harsh outdoor lighting too. If you're on the edge of whether the ultra model is worth it, I'd say go for it.

I choose this one sleek and very responsive new samsung Z fold8 ultra on my recent upgrade and it does not disappoint. My phone usage goes along the lines of calls, text, photos, videos and games. In each category I have not had a single complaint. It's features and speed are awesome, The clarity of the photos combined with the zoom in ability has helped me on a few occasions to be able to find cracks that i had not noticed with nacked eye. The Ai features is incredible. The phone is easier to open. It's an amazing and incredible device. I'm still learning all the cool features but so far i am obsessed.

And I felt the dimensions of the phone and the large screen, it works well with my aging eyes. I've only had it two weeks but I have enjoyed the experience. This phone has allowed me to multi cast and 2 both at the same time. 80% or more of the day is me being on my phone for work when I'm away from the desk. The battery last all day and the quality and brightness of the screen allows for me to do everything I can do on a computer to now do it on the phone. Outside of work I play racing games and gotcha games with the large screen size and the response time are on par with playing on a pc. This phone allows for me to control my house ecosystem.

I upgraded from an S25 Edge that was significantly thinner and lighter, but somehow felt great in my hand even with a wider screen. This new Fold 8 Ultra is the 1TB version, but so far I've not seen a huge advantage in performance. I do see an advantage in the camera setup over my S25 Edge and although it lacks the zoom capabilities of an S26 ultra, it is a happy medium. I'll admit I'm afraid to open my Fold and have only opened it 3 times since purchasing it. I haven't truly had a need to. I also believe that finding the right case is key for the overall experience. Truth be told, I'm looking forward to the rumored S27 pros. I think that will be the perfect phone, but until then look forward to seeing all of the different capabilities this Fold 8 Ultra offers.

I never considered the z fold or any flip series before because I wasn't a fan of the crease in the screen. My friend has has one of the flips and the crease is kinda noticeable. What they did with the 8 is nice because it's not really noticeable and looks nice even when fully open. I also like that it's so light for a phone that opens to 8in. I love the 8 ultras design of being thinner than the regular s ultra series. I end up dropping my phone because it's too big at times. I love the s pen and the screen size just it gets dropped on occasion. I wish in the future they bring the s pen back to the fold series.

With the Z Fold 7 I thought there wasn't really much for Samsung to improve but again they have. The 8 is even thinner which is wild. Literally as thin as the usb c plug. Wondering if the future will be no charge port and just have wireless charging or maybe so new tech will come out. The upgrade to the battery capacity and upgraded cameras are awesome.
