I love flip because it fits in all my small purses and my pocket in my scrubs. I have noticed a much faster processing capacity and smoother opening from beinf closed. I was hesistant to upgrade this time around since I knew there weren't a lot of changes made from Z flip 7 which I most recently had. But I'm glad I chose to upgrade since this one feels better in a lot of ways: processing speed, weight, screen folding etc. I'm excited to explore more of this phone and get more out of it. Thank you Samsung for continuing to produce flip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Flip 8 simply for it's compact size and for it's 50 megapixel camera! I received the phone just in time for a big event of concerts all weekend. The phone was great to be able to squeeze into my pocket. Often times, I would have half in pocket and the other half latched to the outside of the pocket (folded in half). When I went to take pictures, however, I was surprised; the close up the camera is great, but videos and pictures are not 30 ft away are not good. The next day, I ordered an attachable telescoping lens to see if that would make a difference and while it did, I couldn't bring that to a concert and attach it every time I wanted a long distance photo/video of an artist. I did research online to compare the other phone brands because my previous Samsung phones pictures have received so many compliments on quality, lighting, vividness, etc. but I actually requested a friend to send me all of her photos and videos from the occasion. The rest of the phone, however, is working great. The eSim transfer from phone to phone including apps and contacts was nice, but I did have to login to all of the apps for the first time. Thanks for creating a compact design again. If the screen has any issues in the future, I'm sincerely hoping Samsung decides to do flip and fold phones still but with a divide between the screen! (like multiple tv's next to one another at a restaurant with one thing showing and spanning across all tv's like it is one tv)

My primary concern pertains to the absence of complimentary cases when procuring two high-value devices. Including this accessory would be a welcome gesture. Nevertheless, the user experience with this device is truly exceptional; the display's responsiveness and capabilities are outstanding. The enhanced durability of the hinge alleviates previous concerns regarding breakage, and the battery performance has shown significant improvement. Thank you.

Although the flip 8 is only slightly bigger and Although i may be mistaken, feels heavier and is thus already causing hand fatigue. I love every other feature though

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so I have gone from flip 6 to 7, and now 8. I really like the flip. It's a good form factor in my pocket. This one is only a slight upgrade, though. Camera etc are much the same. The more powerful chip is noticeable when in use. My biggest issue is battery. It didn't need to be slimmer and lighter, because it was already a compact size. It needed a bigger capacity battery, that doesn't run so hot. This thing gets insanely hot if, say, you are running android auto with sat nav going. To the point where the phone shuts down. Not good, during a long car journey to somewhere you don't know. So, this has not changed from the 7. I was hoping it would. Everything else is good.

I love that it's compact, that I can hang-up a call by closing the phone, and the camcorder function by holding it sideways was ingenious programming. I love a phone that grows with me and can handle my day-to-day while in my pocket. I will never, ever switch to another device as long as Samsung keeps refreshing this model but that Fold8 almost got me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came from the Fold7. I wasn't sure if the upgrade would be worth it, but despite how incremental it is, it makes for a far more complete device! The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

However the wow factor of being able to open the phone up to see the gorgeous large dispaly more than makes up for it. I am very impressed with the fact they have made the fold almost invisible. I can honestly say that I am totally unaware of it whilst using it and sometimes have to look at the back of the phone to make sure I am going to close the phone up the correct way. A brilliant piece of technology. It's just as quick as the S25 and overall I am extremely pleased that I traded in my S25.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From switching from the s series of samsung phones to the z series, the experience I've had on the phone so far has been excellent and offers a different experience to the s series at no drawbacks. The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

The 8 does have decent updates; however, these updates are more so for convenience rather than needs for increased usability. For me personally, I could've gone without the upgrade to the 8. I only upgraded due to the rumors of this being the last flip so I wanted to make sure I had the latest version if this were to be true. I think if you enjoy the flip 7 and don't need or can't afford the upgrade, then you're good and aren't missing out on much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am upgrading from a Samsung Galaxy Z flip 6 to a Samsung Galaxy Z flip 8 and the differences are very impressive. The camera is much improved and the battery life feels a lot better. I love the amount of care and thought Samsung gave to the external screen, what you can do now on the outside is so impressive it's almost like having two phones in one. The color is also very nice with the pink tone. Also the opening and closing now is much better than before it has a more satisfying click when it opens and closes. Samsung also continues to do an incredible job with the crease in the screen when the Z Fold 8 is opened.

Integrating the apps and system with the new AI gives the ability to conceive, plan and execute my calendar, tasks, and events on time. This is due to the sharing of data, notifications and productivity files. The camera is also a step up as the pictures are sharp and well organized. The flip feature is to my liking as it gives me a simple, small, fit in pocket phone I can unobtrusively carry and use it folded for quick calls, texts, etc. When opened, the Z-Flip 8 pro idea a broader landscape to view articles, watch videos, and compose e-mail or letters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra for a while now and honestly, I am really impressed with it. Display is one of my favourite things. It is bright, sharp and the big inner screen makes watching videos and doing work much more enjoyable. Battery life has also been better than I expected. With normal daily use, I can get through most of the day without worrying about charging.Performance feels very smooth too, even when I have several apps open at the same time. I was a little unsure about the Hinge at first, but it feels strong and well made. The phone also feels more solid than I expected, which gives me confidence about Durability for everyday use. There is a small learning curve because it is different from a normal phone, but after using it for a few days, I got used to it quickly. Overall, it feels like a premium phone that is actually useful.

The hinge was never a problem on my 5, and it seems to be even smoother on this one, and no screen creased yet, although, that never really bothered me anyway. I have recently discovered "Bixby" as well. I always knew it was a thing on my old phone, but never used it, as I thought, well, if I have Google, why do I need Bixby?? It is SO GOOD! Now I can send a WhatsApp, or add to my notes, see the status of my washing machine etc, all without typing a thing! All in all, I love it, thanks!

I can fit is into my pockets and it doesn't slide out; Yet I have all the real estate of a larger size phone-- and a bit more that the prior z flip series without losing the convenience of the smaller folded size. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a flip fan since it came out and Ichose to wait for this phone as my upgrade for all the new features and design. To start the design is great, the new features phenomenal. The Battery, well it sucks. I set up the phone and turned off all the addition stuff I don't normally use. Then I set up the power saving mode. Finally I'm not a huge user of apps just basic stuff. Im an older person so I'm not on tiktok/Insta/or any of the other social media. I play one game. My previous phone the flip 4 i would easily get 4 days out of the battery with regular use. This one im getting just over 2 at best. I can literally go to bed with it at 100% battery and wake up with it between 85 and 88% left. I guess the new AI features are eating up the battery but I dont even really use that. I have figured out how to fully turn that off to see if the battery life improves or not.

I switched to the Flip 6 upon its launch, and I just received a new Flip 8. As someone who loves to stream videos and music, I appreciate the improved screen quality on the Flip 8 with no visible screen crease on the interior screen due to the titanium upgrade. The slightly larger overall size is a better fit for my hand while still compact enough to fit comfortably and securely in my pockets. I am using Gemini vs. Google assistant and it's a game changer for instant access to facts, information and tasking. Overall I am quite pleased with the Galaxy Flip 8 and if it's to be, future Galaxy Flip phones

Fast,smooth and just a work of art and craftsmanship. Sometimes I feel it's a bit delicate compared to a single brick style but I guess I'm just getting used to it. Pick a good quality case as it does put your mind at rest on the protection front. Battery life seems s goods as my S23 even using it unfolded. The hinge is reassuringly positive on open and shutting, just remember if you rotate it while watching something you remember as trying to shut it the wrong way could damage it.

I wanted to try a flip smart phone and after playing with a different kind for a bit, I found myself missing Samsung, whom I'd been with since 2006 when I got my first android phone. The quality is unmatched. No issues, the response is very quick and I have not had a single experience with the z flip 8 that hasn't been excellent. I highly recommend this phone as it's kind of like having 2 in one. A flip phone where you can use the outer screen for basically every function you'd need but you can also flip it open like the s series phones and get a different phone experience. A+ as always! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Galaxy Z Flip8 is everything I hoped for. I chose the Z Flip series because of its compact size. The Z Flip5 was the first one I owned, and I hadn't upgraded until now. This new model is much thinner and a little wider. It's an obvious improvement over three generations, so it feels great and is noticeably faster. The battery lasts much longer, which is very important to me because I use my phone for work. The camera is also an improvement, although I wish it were as good as the Galaxy Note's. Still, the compact size is what matters most to me. I can't give a complete review of the phone yet because I just started using it, but it's definitely a huge improvement over my last one.

It's cute, it's compact, and I can open and shut it. I also prefer the keyboard and the size of the phone since it is easier for me to type and handle. I almost got the Flip 7 for the gorgeous cobalt blue color (GBA SP nostalgia), but then we I found out they were releasing a pink Flip 8 I had to wait. The color is absolutely stunning and I am beyond happy with it. I also think the screen on this phone is a noticeable improvement from my Ultra 25. All in all I am incredibly happy with my purchase and I am going to stick with the Z line in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After upgrading from a Flip to a Fold to last year the Samsung Galaxy Z flip8 is a much welcomed return to functional flip phones - no gimmicks. The full back display and cameras being on the same surface allows for photography moments that no other smartphone series does. The Z Flip8 feels lighter and yet more durable than it's predecessors and after double checking right now... The main screen 'crease' is nowhere to be seen. The only place where the phone feels lacking is it's battery performance. It's not bad by any means but is also nothing to write home about and will need a charge before the day is up as well as overnight. Genuinely a fun and functional flip phone - would recommend!

I absolutely love the flip series. I was previously an Ultra user but switched when they launched the flip 3. I love having an incredible camera and not losing any screen size while enjoying the convenience of the small size for putting it in my pocket!

After two years of my wife and I taking these phones all over the world, we are both huge fans of Flip's. I chose to upgrade to the Z Flip 8 because I appreciate advanced technology and features. The Flip 8 is still at a reasonable price point while offering many advantages even the Fold line doesn't offer. The size and feather light package are everything. This phone does it all, yet fits in spaces so small there just isn't any other device that compares. My favorite feature however, is to be able to plug in a little fan and set it on the table and be cool with my cool Flip phone. My friends are always envious over that trick.
