How to set up Auto Open Door on your Samsung Refrigerator
Open your fridge effortlessly, even when your hands are full.
With in-built touch sensors, all it takes is a light tap for your doors to automatically* open, so you can enjoy easy access and a seamless flat-door design.
*An automatic closing function is not available. The angle at which the fridge doors open may vary depending on the installation environment, such as the floor where the refrigerator is installed, the level of the refrigerator, and the load of the food stored in the door bin. Auto open feature only available on top refrigerator doors.
Note: The Auto Open Door feature is disabled by default.
Setting Up Auto Open Door
AI Home
1. Swipe up from the bottom of the display.
2. Tap the 'Apps' icon in the bottom left corner.
3. Open 'Settings'.
4. Select 'Refrigerator' to access Auto Open Door.
5. Toggle 'On' Auto Open Door to activate the function.
Family Hub™
1. Open the 'Fridge Manager' app on your Family Hub™.
Note: The Fridge Manager app comes preinstalled with your Family Hub™.
2. Open the Fridge settings by tapping the icon on the right side of the fridge.
3. Locate the 'Auto open door' function toggle
4. Tap the toggle to turn on the function.
Using Auto Open Door
To open each door, touch the corresponding sensor pad near the door handle of the fridge.
